[COR-FB] Supply Dock at Fort Stockton, Wullham
LM71Blackbird replied to evancelt's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great build as always Evan! I like that you took the time to make the lower rocks the darker grey so they look wet from the sea. Well done all around and a pleasure to look at!- 18 replies

Crisp base, smooth terrain and a neat line of Corrie troops in red. A from me! I really like how the terrain blends and the tiles give it a nice transition.

Altogether a great little build with a very nicely done mangrove. It's gonna be a from me and congrats on the silver! -
Another great write-up as usual! Now, I'm gonna have to get to building some ships as Quinnsville has now captured 2 pirate ships!

Thanks @Ayrlego! Has the tMRCA income been added yet? By my calculations, my account should be about +2,335 Dbs. It was a successful run this time! Thanks again!

A Compendium of Corlander Military Units
LM71Blackbird replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Unit Name: 8th Regiment of Hussars 'The Black Knights' Unit Type: Light Calvary - Hussars Picture: 8th Regiment of Hussars - "The Royal Shadows" by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Description: The Black Knights consist of one regiment of Hussars. They ride on smaller and faster black horses and are adept at scouting and trained in skirmish combat. Their speed and agility are second to none among Corrington's Light Calvary Regiments and they are especially apt at fighting in tight formations. Their uniforms are all black with gold facings on the torso, gold epaulettes, white gloves and sword belt, and a cape draped across the left shoulder to prevent sword cuts. Tall bearskin shakos are worn to make the trooper appear even larger when mounted. The Hussars are also equipped with long razor sharp sabers to extend their reach on the battlefield. Links: -

Another nice addition to Brickford Landing! The "L" shaped building with the forge in the center has a satisficing symmetry. -

Corrington: Sign-up and Discussion, Era II
LM71Blackbird replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Quinnsville has a few shipyards as well. This and this -
Off to a great start! The build is very well put together. The varied terrain and foliage gives it a real jungle look. Here is a great tutorial by another Eurobricks member on how to embed pictures from Flickr. It is super easy and a bunch of us from BoBs have accounts as well.

Welcome to BoBs @Jakedeg87! Looking forward to seeing the Cardinals adventures!

Very Impressive! All the details you put into your digital builds makes me want to stare at them for a while so I can pick them all out!

Great build! It really has a nice 'swamp' feel to it. The draping vines from the trees and the sandy terrain, very well done!

I think the round base works out really well. Good to see the men getting themselves recorded in the history books! Where did you get the hat for the Captain? I've seen it before but can't remember where I saw it. -

[GoC] Marshalling in Spudkirk
LM71Blackbird replied to Spud The Viking's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
An impressive little scene! The angling of the dock is a nice touch to break up the squareness. The touch of yellow and the red flowers keeps Spudkirk in the right color palate as well. And the custom torso's are awesome. A from me for the GoC! -

Neither would I! Thank you! Thank you! The chains are basically just some stuff to trip up any invading army. Thanks! I hope so too, the Carnite soldiers are a nice change from the typical redcoat Thank you! Here's to hoping! Thanks. Thanks Spud! Thank you! I've been wanting to try my hand at some more brick built cannons instead of the stock LEGO ones. Thank you. Thanks! Looking forward to building more in the future.
