Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
LM71Blackbird replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hmm… I wonder that too... if that is the case given the current status of the rules that would make it quite easy to build an army... -

Gonna say this is per settlement. If you re-read it, the limit is based on settlement size. -

Some more progress has been made! I quite like how the stern is looking now. Barque 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Barque 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Barque 4 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr I plan to add lots of rigging to her, but unfortunately I only have peach colored string, so... yeah... I may rig her up in peach or get some black or white. Don't know yet. -

Shipwrights Guild Hall (WIPs, feedback, and advice)
LM71Blackbird replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
After much thought and trial and error, I have decided to attempt a larger ship out of real bricks. I believe that it is a Barque style ship, but please correct me if I've got that wrong. Barque 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr She looks better in person, but this is my progress so far. I had to make square masts because I don't have enough round bricks for something like this. I tried my hand a giving it a tumblehome, but I only had enough pieces to do it in the main midsection. Some C&C would be appreciated! Thanks! -

Thank you! I think... -
More Marching to Quinnsville The newest graduating class of the Quinnsville Military Academy are out for some drills and exercise. These 2 companies will join the 1st Quinnsville Fusiliers Company as the 2nd and 3rd Quinnsville Fusiliers companies. This will help to strengthen Quinnsville's defenses as it continues to grow into one of Corrington's premiere settlements in the New World! Troops 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr ------------------------------------- Just a quick MOC to go along with the recruitment of some more troops for Quinnsville. Nothing overly special but as usual, C&C are welcome and apprecieated and thanks for looking!

This is stunning! When I saw the first picture I thought this was going to be a room tour because it looks so real! Great job on the perspectives!

@Chris from Canada Another thing I just thought of... If you are interested in joining the EGS, is would be a good idea to mention it to @Phred and @Captain Genaro in the Account Summary Discussion, so they can add you to the accounts. -

Well it's good to have you! There is lots to take in! I joined back in February and I'm still learning new things! Were all will to help. Agreed! Not to give you too many options at once, but the settlement of Quinnsville would also welcome Mr. Goodwin and his teaching abilities! All depends on how you want to play out your character in the future. I'll be willing to contribute some funds as well should the teacher need some spending money! -
This is a nice looking ship! I like the sail plan and nice job on the hull!

@Chris from Canada: Nice intro and welcome to the magnificent nation of Corrington as well as Eurobricks! Have you been a lurker around Eurobricks and finally decided to join? Brethren of the Brick Seas is a vast RPG with new things constantly being added! Not sure how much of the BoBs lore you've read through but I assume you've read through the history of the factions. It would be a good idea to read the history and background thread as well if you haven't done so already. You can go ahead and post your intro in the Brethren of the Brick Seas forum as well. If your interested in joining the Economic Game System (EGS) there are more than enough players willing to help you out! We are all here to help with any questions you may have as well, so don't hesitate to ask! See you on the seas! -

Thank you! Well, I recently purged out the non Lego from my bricks and organized them, so I've wanted to build more with real bricks! Thanks! I had four of those 8x8 slopes so I'm glad you like them!- 5 replies
