  1. Still looks more like a Discovery than a Defender to me.
  2. @Malek83 looks like he's trying to lit himself in the first pic!
  3. Could replace it with an actual battery box if adding PF.
  4. Awesome. Love "Thor's Hammer" version of the plow!
  5. Wow, that's a blast from the past. I remember my older brother had loads of Robitix stuff.
  6. Thanks @djm , not sure how I missed that post as I'm a regular reader of that thread. Will maybe pick some up with my next order and give them a go.
  7. Has anyone found an alternative to the chrome headlight part (71128) used in Akiyuki's cup to cup etc? They are becoming more scarce (and expensive) on bricklink, especially if multiples are required and was hoping to maybe find a cheaper alternative. Was thinking possibly part 39262 (crown form TLM2s Queen), anyone tried this?
  8. @Digger of Bricks There was a post on the Brickset Website and Forums a few days ago asking for questions to ask, so seems it is going ahead.
  9. Surely you can never have enough cranes? ;-)
  10. Bricklink showing the same size as Brickset - 61.6 x 13.6 Clicking through that Brickowl link, it does actually show the correct size under the title (see screengrab below)
  11. The numbers are diameter x thickness (in mm). According to brickset 2903 is actually 61.6 x 13.6. Where does the 81.6 x 15 come from? Is that the tyre size maybe? Edit: Answering my own question. It seems 2903 is the rim size and 81.6 x 15 is indeed the size of the tyre that fits it - part 87911
  12. Remember that votes from users with <50 posts were not included in the total. Looking through the results, there were a few sub-50-post users voted for your entry
  13. I thought I'd read the 50 posts rule somewhere, although doesn't actually mention 50 post threshold in the voting topic though (or didn't when I looked) so I went ahead and voted. Apologies if I've broken any rules.
  14. All great entries. Well done to those who participated. 12: 10 5: 6 3: 4 11: 3 4: 2 1: 1
  15. To be fair, it wasn't PV-Productions causing the hassle; you already said your internet "crapped out". I'm sure there's a reason they put a download limit on these things, perhaps to stop user trying to sell the link to others for example. I've never used PV-Productions myself, but they seem to be pretty well regarded and as others have said, a quick email to CS will usually sort these things out. Presumably if you paid by PayPal you would've been covered in the event of any issues too?
  16. On the plus side, I also collect Lego Star Wars and there's not much of those sets announced his year that I want, so better start saving for the Leibherr
  17. I alway presumed the lack of military theme was do with the risk of offending certain countries/groups rather than the actual subject matter; although there is a pretty big leap from cops and robbers to all out warfare in terms of violent content too. I can't imagine a WWII theme with an "Attack at Pearl Harbor" set would sell very well in the US for example, and rightly so. A military vehicles theme would be pretty cool though. Presumably anything based on real-life vehicles would need licencing though and would essentially lead to TLG providing funding to the military, which doesn't really sit with their family-friendly image.
  18. Is there anything in particular that makes you think they a are counterfeit? If you bought from a reputable seller with good feedback I'd say the chances they are counterfeit are very slim.
  19. Looking through my own collection, seems highly unlikely given that many sets will have either technic pins or flick missiles, especially vehicles. Location based sets mostly using earthy colours so a bit of grey in those is understandable too. There are probably not that many (modern day) sets in any theme that don't have some grey pieces. Quick look through sets on Brickset shows 7194 Yoda only has around a dozen grey parts from a total of 1075 and Darth Maul only has 2 grey technic pins from a total of 1868 parts.
