I modified the 75337 set, so it walks on its own. Go to Rebrickable.com to download free instructions.

[MOC] [INSTRUCTIONS] – LAATi Republic Gunship – The Clone Wars
JBB_777 replied to Chef's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Really like your model. The stepped sides look great. I designed mine mainly for playability for my kids. Hence the choice for the technic gun balls. The gray ones you use look better but they tend to fall off when you hit something. Also like your engine design and how the rockets appear to continue into the engines/rocket launchers- 11 replies

You are right Reaper. It must be the 50951 and should be stretched around the wheel part. Additional tip is to add a little lube to make it move smoothly.

Hi there. Just use a lot of force to put the tires on. And yes there might be some errors in the order but as long as you are able to build it its ok in my opinion. Making instructions is not really my idea of fun. Happy bricking

Looks great. Enjoy. You can follow me on insta btw

Happy bricking ??

@stormtroopercaptain I edited your photos a bit. You should be able to see them. One comment suggested it should transport death troopers. Death troopers might require a black version as well.

@stormtroopercaptain This is awesome. ??????

@stormtroopercaptain I see it now. Looks good.

I am supercurious. Btw you can find me on instagram. I use jbb_777 there as well. Are you on instagram as well? I am planning to post your pictures as alternative build on my insta. It would be nice if I could refer to you somehow. I dont know. You can download the partslist from rebrickable and import it to rebrickable. There it depends where you can buy everything. My guess is that it should be between $100 and $200 depending on how many parts you already have and which stores you select. Also keep in mind that the color of the inside parts does not matter.

@stormtroopercaptain have you made any progress on the imperial gunship?
-
Maybe you can add a sticker to reduce the contrast a bit? For instance use parts from This sticker

Thanks. I created the instructions in MLCAD. Making sub assemblies is not very easy in that tool. I agree there could have been more. I will recount the 1x4 plates again. It really looks super cool. The darker parts are nice accents. Maybe you can add some dark gray stickers around the cockpit (I added dark red stripes harvested from other models around the cockpit) I also considered adding a darker plate in the bottom in the past maybe that works for you as well. In my reference material there are some dark red stripes in the bottom.

Wow! This really looks cool. Great job. So nice to see that other people enjoy my design. Glad you picked the newest version of the instruction. Do you have any feedback to improve the instructions by the way?

Cant wait to see it. This must be super cool.

Thanks. You can find instruuctions on rebrickable. Maybe a good start for inspiration. Happy bricking.
