  1. "Indeed, we'll all be slaughtered if we think about final blows." Siercon attacks the left wing with the etherial topaz from the back row (giant spear in case of shield) "That said, I'm sorry for you" he said kindly to miirym
  2. Siercon cast a spell with the etherial opal on left wing from the back row. He also siphons the potion out of his giant spear which he grips in case of shield. "That was well timed and greatly needed vindsval. And thank you greatly Gabriel. Half way there..."
  3. "Humm... Actually never mind I think you are right. I'll join you guys and continue the left wing barrage." Siercon attacks the left wing twice from the front row with ethereal topaz. If shield, he uses ethereal opal and giant spear."
  4. Siercon listens to the others plan as the angel showers them with protection. "Arthur, I believe I might be the one exception to the pile up on the left wing. This is my opportunity to seal and weaken the beast in two blows." Edit: This action deleted: Siercon attacks Immortalis from the front row first with the etherial opal, and then with svens blade. Or using both if shield. Replaced with post below. OOC: sound good?
  5. Siercon repeats. Except this time seeking to use physical attacks with svens dagger as the wings are already fragile. though if shields, uses etherial opal.
  6. OOC: I believe due to svens dagger and the ethereal Opal, both wings are now sealed and fragile. Correct?
  7. if made lucky by miirym. Action 1: Siercon attacks rapture wings A from the back row with svens dagger (etherial opal) Action 2: If action one is successful, Siercon does the same switching to wings B, otherwise he repeats. If not lucky Action 1: throws muddy bomb Action 2: Siercon attacks rapture wings A from back row with svens dagger (etherial opal) Use only action 1 if not hastened
  8. Siercon remained silent watching the exchanges. He specifically examined the weapons planted throughout the arena. He was searching for any weapons that looked like they may have cause some damage before meeting their present abandon... Then he replied... "We didn't escape the burning wreckage... We've come to the heart of it." He said flatly, pulling out his only cataclysm bomb.
  9. Siercon accepts the scroll of frailty from Lind "thank you, I'll try to use the dagger, but if i need to step back for a by, this will be helpful." Siercon loads a potion into his hollow spear, as well as downing another potion to top off his health, then partaken from the mead being passed around. He hefts the awkward wing sack up off his shoulders and looks upon the others and Immortalis. "Sigh. Well... anything to say before we begin??"
  10. "And he's been poisoned through the roof..." Siercon added. Then approaching Arthur, Siercon said softly... "This may be sensitive topic and a completely far out guess and needless worry... but, do you fear that Myrrim may not return as she was? I don't mean in death or injury, but I wonder if she might be 'chosen' to carry immortalis' mantle... And your days as a dragoon..." Siercon trailed off, letting his mind wander...
  11. "I know right? But is the way of the chimera..." Siercon said in objective agreement, but clearly on the opposite side of the expressed repulsion.
  12. "Kill him? Meh. Regardless I'm taking these..." Siercon said passing over the loot pile and coming to the tattered remains of Charons wings. Siercon took his pack and stuffed them with the smoldering remains of the archangels wings. "May seem creepy, but I'm not going to pass up on archangel wings... Nor let an enemy take them back. I warned him. If for some reason we let him live, he'll have to earn his wings back." Siercon said with a flat expression. "Arthur, nice hit by the way." Siercon mentioned OOC: endgame, if ur somehow not ok with the wing and general feather pilfering for potential winged warrior class, I can just assume there was literally nothing left, or whatever :) lmk
  13. "Very well." Siercon gives Katie a tonic
  14. Siercon continues a standard attack. Positioned in the back row, he fights with his spear and opal.
  15. "Ya can't win them all can ya? Besides, I can accept when I'm wrong. How about you?" Siercon gave Lind a glance, as if in memory of faultily judging him, and offering this up as an example to what he said.
  16. "How much you want to bet it was because he let a girlfriend live when she was supposed to die... Ironic, as the reverse..." Siercon said trailing off.
  17. Siercon noted the tattered wing mangled on the ground... "Sigh... Those are going to take a lot of time to sew back together..." As Siercon watches Arthur crash down upon Charon, inflicting a massive amount of damage... He waivers in his step a bit, calculating. "Impressive..." Siercon downs a potion in the back row.
  18. OOC: I'm out for 32 hours. If this round runs and the next round is started and if people are then waiting on me, have Siercon give two tonics to karie or potions to anyone who might be dying as a safe action assumption. I'll be back online Monday night pst time :)
  19. OOC ^^modified Siercons battle actions in case of bombs killing all wings. Also, can I apply a mead on someone else using my turn, some of the consumables make sense to me (like ointments) but others have me mentally picturing Siercon trying to shove a bottle down someone's throat as they are swinging an ax in the middle of combat...
  20. Siercon was slammed down hard, and barely maintained conciousness. Still, he scrapped to his feet pushing through his aching joints and sputtered... "One down, one to go." Siercon repeats attack on Wing A. (Only Takes hollow potion after first attack if he has no second attack.) If a second action: Siercon repeats on wing A if it is not KOd If wing A is KOd: Siercon takes potion from hollow spear first and then attacks wing A duplicate." If all wings are killed by bombs, Siercon takes two potions (one from the hollow spear, and gives one tonic to Karie. Applying three potions total. **** OOC: if it would help, Siercon would happily give potions and ether instead.
  21. I would actually love to sign up for some insanity ;) Pretty sure I've got a solid grasp on volume, and 'scene' : 'full moc' ratio. Obviously the last thing I'd want is to bog the quest with elaborate builds over fluid and frequent story. Which puts me to thinking "finish most of the quest pior to starting"...? DnD I usually do open world, but here it would seem that with the builds, a more funneled dungeon approach might be better?
  22. Thanks for doing all the research! But more so, this is a great encouragement. I know I'm in worse shoes than you as far as the benefit I've personally recieved from everyone's hard work and how much I've put back in. I'm probably the quietest person in all the threads, and have been lurking around for years just enough to not get archived. Personally, this game and playing one season of DnD in person, opened up a lot of fun times in DMing for some of my best friends. So I really owe you guys a lot. As far as giving back to the heroica community, in hosting a quest... how often are quests co-hosted? I know I've talked to Flipz a little about it before, followed by me classically getting busy with iron builder or moving or something... And ironically, we're about to move again. But, I truly want to back to the Heroica world, and we've a whole bunch of WIPs that have slowly evolved over the years and have yet to see the light of day. Anyways, I'd love to start, and restart any conversations with people who might be interested in potentially co-hosting a quest with me?
  23. "Don't worry, when you're dead and gone these wings will still beat against the wind... And I will be the one to sew them on." Siercon said with a grin.
  24. Barely watching the portal events unfold, Siercon sprints up again with one thought on his mind 'cutting the wings off Charons back'. "I'd see you fall a second time!" Siercon attacks wing B from the front row switching weapons and thrusting with his giant spear and the etherial topaz (hoping for some quadruple wing damage from darkness + lightning) Repeats attack. If wing B is dead switches to wing A unless all wings are dead then attacks Charon from the back row. If damaged in the first round, the second action simply switches to the back row and Siercon uses the potion in his hollow upgrade in addition to attacking again.
  25. OOC; well I guess even if the unlikely scenario happens that I am hit with wing B's special twice, my one health will just stay at one ;P (ignoring other specials and redirects of course)
