Heroica RPG - Quest #147: Judgment Day
Siercon and Coral replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
Siercon laughed at this. he accepted the scarf, and equipped his robe and gloves to go with it, removing the feather. He also dipped svens dagger in a standard bottle of poison. He was as ready as he could be with the stuff he had. "Thank you Arthur." He said solemnly. -

OOC: Siercon is also immune to sleep. Though not immune to fast asleep. So I'm assuming the last sleeping spell was 'fast asleep' but if in case 'immune to sleep' plays a role in the future, just wanted to put it out there. :) Siercon drew svens dagger and readied himself for an immediate attack. -

Siercon kicked his feet up onto another stool as apparently many of them would remain vacant. "Life's to difficult already to create more problems." He said to Vindsval while showing a keen interest in his question about weapons and armor. OOC: Sean kicked his feet up onto the recliner while watching Gilmore girls. "Lifes too difficult already to create more problems." He said to his LEGO eurobricks friends whom he was grateful to for playing a fun make believe game with online (remember endgame has been working the hardest to make this quest fun). ;) Cheers! Edit: Siercon heard raised voices outside the hut... "Guess we should give'm a moment, eh?" He said to Vind without the slightest notion to join the squabble. -

"Humm, I think not." Siercon said twirling the feathers in his fingers and pocketing them. "I'm somewhat of a collector, and have already regretted letting some slip through my fingers" "But I could have you burn this..." Siercon offered the water taken from the halls of eschaton. -

Siercon took a seat in the middle front. with this proximity he looked like he was going o get his fortune read. "My name is Siercon. We are heroes who are out to stop immortalis, who is an immensely powerful prophetic dragon who has chosen to wipe out everything here with a storm and his fallen angel henchmen." Siercon continued looking around at all the trinkets. "Amidst this do you perhaps have anything that could be of use in battling a future seeing dragon? You seem prepared and knowledgable. Perhaps you've some advice, or suggestions." Siercon usually preferred the direct way of going into things, to see how people bit. Siercon pulled out gold and the feathers he gathered from charons appearance. "Might you know what these do if anything?" Siercon said motioning to the feathers. He already knew perfectly well what gold did. -

"I didn't 'take him on solo' although I think he misconstrued it as that. Just trying to wake up, do a little magic detox slightly earlier than he wanted." Siercon defensively sarcastic. "Indeed, we are grateful for the offer, it has been quite the journey." Siercon said thankfully. "And yeah, this storm does hold a grudge. And aims... prophetically. Have any anti prophecy potion? -

Siercon picked up the feathers. (And stashed them with the other) He always had an eye out for those... "Considering the pain I went through to end my conversation short, I was hoping to get you all woken up sooner so we could get a good jump on this tyrant." Siercon sighed. "Oh well we're all here in the end, now it's where to go?" Siercon pulls out his magic compass and consults its direction. "Also, be careful in these types of visions. I don't know how, but I believe that it is only through immortalis' 'benevolence' that what happens in the dreams doesn't affect real life. In other words if you die in a 'vision', you die for real, unless he actively keeps you alive. Don't go throwing your life away because you think it's a 'dream'" Siercon said massaging his hand still feeling the throbbing pain just a little. "Although I think the reverse is true as well for him. Ignoring all his ridiculous powers of course" Siercon looked annoyed with the current plight. OOC: Siercon should be at full health still through several battles of natural respite. Unless I'm cursed somehow and need to address the issue? :P do I feel injured? -

"Yeah odd, we just heard gurgled screams in these water logged tunnels, so we quickly drained them to come rushing to the aid of this damsel in distress. If we'd known it was you?... Anyways, youre welcome!" Siercon said with a slight bow and wave of the hand. Then continued. "Why are you here... Maybe an apology?" -

"We are fighting to save an entire kingdom of buildings and people. I love the proggs and their recent work here, but one large cavern seems small in the grand scheme of things. It's almost as if it was built specifically by providence to give us a place to drain this storm and storm immortalis ourselves. Not only will it allow access, but this will also restore communication among all of the proggs. It won't have to be completely rebuilt, simply strategically drained later. And your warriors can still come with us and aid us in the battle." Siercon added. -

"Immortal is and his fallen angels will be a very formidable foe. And I doubt we would only lose one of our heroes. We'd lose a dragon as well. Sadly I think we need to flood the chamber. Yes we will lose infrastructure... But the speed and manpower retained are by far more important in such a narrow time frame against a powerful enemy. " Siercon really liked the idea of going with the water proggs but... It just didn't seem logical in the stress of the situation -

"I believe he already did" Siercon said smacking he forehead." He then quickly cast a large air bubble next to Arthur, giving him the option of if he wanted to step in. And then waited for the expected jinnipher demeaning comment. "If it's the only way for even a chance, we need to do it. If we can make it another way I'm sure we'd be open to trying that too." Siercon said waving at his air bubble. Which looked rather odd as he seemingly was pretty much waving at nothing. Ooc. how much magic will I burn to make enough of these for the whole way lol. Siercons fine burning all of it, just doesn't want to kill everyone cause he didn't have enough juice lol. -

Ooc. Sorry looks like my computer may be completely dead now. This may restrict me to my phone, which makes it a little harder to format replies. I'll make it work though. Sry! :) Siercon found himself puzzled at this but pretty much agreed with Linds sentiments. "Seriously, though if this storm keeps up, I fear overpopulation will not be a problem..." Sierco said. "I'm starting to like this option more and more. I don't appreciate being preemptivly judged for unpremeditated action or for just passive ripples in some future pond he wants to keep turbulence free." Siercon had obviously rehearsed this in his head... Most people wouldn't have said such an awkward sentence without pause. -

Siercon was quite surprised when a horse sized beast wriggled out of the ground... He saw what appeared to be a flaming spider and a rat, but this... was quite unexpected. And then it spoke. 'Interesting, I hope it's a friendly tunnel gate guard of some kind.' He thought. "We seek entrance and passage though the progg tunnels. Punii sent us here, as we have much to accomplish together if we are going to stop this Armageddon." Siercon said. -

Siercon coughs and makes a motion towards Vindsval. "I'm good, thanks *cough* save your strength I'm sure we'll need it later. * cough* thanks though." *Siercon has natural respite, which might have been missed from last battle as well -

Siercon rummages through his gems and find none of them to be useful. He feared using the ethereal opal lest it make a fragile structure more so. So he follows Arthur's lead and steps up with his magnifying glass and examines this side of the rubble. -

Siercon started and narrowed his eyes at this. Karie did not give her name out just then... But unlike many moments in spite of some minor paranoia, he accepted this, assuming she either knew her prior, or Masson had spoken of her... still it gave him thought. "As much as we can" Siercon said. He then scanned the perimeter to see if there was anything nearby which would allow the fire to spread. He looked for trees or bushes which may be connecting adjacent houses or structures in proximity. Was this fire contained? "Where would you like us?" -

"I'm so terribly sorry, I fear I was caught up in the moment. It really is good to see you again friend." Siercon said with a genuine smile. He was not fudging his memory, but really had blindly skipped pleasantries. "As for the dagger and gems, you are most kind. I hope I can put them to good use, and will return them in one piece. Here, maybe this will work better in your hollow upgrade. You'll probably survive longer to dole it out anyways." Siercon accepts Sven's Dagger and the gems (Ethereal Opal (Ice+Fragile), Garnet (Earth), Ethereal Topaz (Lightning+Stunned), Sapphire (Wind)) Siercon gives Arthur his Phoenix Essence "Awesome, I'm sure you'll find a brilliant use for it. And honestly guys, I wouldn't be surprised if Immortalis is tired. I think he knows he is walking down a short path with his potential death at it's end. I think he knows he will die. Following the loss of his son, suicide by hero squadron." It was getting easier for Siercon to simply ignore Jinnipher... "All clear. Let's do it." Siercon said. making sure a potion was loaded into his hollow spear. -

"Arthur, Miirym, Vindsval, I'm Siercon. I suppose you're now stuck in the throws now with us. Truly we're glad to have your aid." Siercon said, making a pointed show to ignore the others exchanging low blows. "Dragonlord. And for any heroes who care to listen. While in Eschaton I feared it would come to this, so I both gained their confidence as one of their own, and then purposely walked into Immortalis' judgement. As a result, this is some potentially pertinent information i've learned." Siercon unfolds a recently made sketch paper with bullet points on it. 1. I'm almost sure that Immortals can read thoughts if he tries. I wasn't able to prove it, but still think it's likely he can. 2. Immortalis is at a minimum a lightning and flying type dragon. I would not be surprised if he had all of the elements, but lightning will most likely be his favorite. 3. He can see into peoples life essences. At a glance he will be able to determine weaknesses. 4. I imagine we'll face Charon first. He is openly very skilled with portals and warping magic, however occasionally I got a glimpse of him using telekinesis, in the form of a force push. I have a feeling this part of his true power. 5. And there is something they want to keep a secret within Eschaton's walls, I have no idea if it's anything big. 6. Immortalis cannot raise the dead. At a minimum, I suggest we prepare ourselves for dealing with lightning. Thoughts? With that, Siercon took his crystalline feather (Equipped instead of his hood) and pinned it to his cloak. Turning to the other heroes who went to Eschaton and asked. "What did you learn from your visit? We need as much information as possible." -

"Greetings, my name is Siercon, it is good to meet you both. So you've had dealings with some of this motley crew?" Siercon said jokingly. "Building hutches seems like a fine motion." Siercon said appraisingly "Any major scene makers or rabblers of note, or perhaps pixie rinks causing a particular foul?" -

"Haha, you still think I'm a turncoat. I'm not surprised. Those without tact often fail to recognize it." He said intermingled with a sigh. Siercon gave a chuckle and looked at Lind and waited for a return. Gotta love some good banter. -

Siercon turned, "If by trap door, you mean a portal to a nice dreamless little bed..." Siercon said with a hint of up beatness. "Nightmares... I'm not too suprised..." Siercon looked like he might want to talk more about this, just not now. Not here. Siercon chuckled at this, but also gave a concerned look towards Karie. "Hope it wasn't too bad" he said, also kinda curious what it was about. Well at least none of you are screaming "'We're doomed!' Some of you seem even optimistic. Anything thing happen of note that you guys would like to share? Well... perhaps soon, but not here. Let's go."
