What a creative way to build a hull. I had never seen this done in a MOC before. Quite clever SlyOwl. Nice job! *y*

Clever KW. Who is your favorite of the two figs? I like the ending with Skellie the best, esp. both heads on the stick. Nice job. *y* One suggestion: if you add some EB characters, it adds more interest.

Big Ugly Rock Piece. I think both sets may contain one or more. I'll check Peeron for this, but I'm really wanting to know if the Legend is different than the original in any way.

Hello all Pirates, Swashbucklers, Armada, and Islanders: I'm looking to obtain a little information about Islanders set 6292, Enchanted Island. I have read through some info about the set (which seems to be the most favorite of the Islander sets around these parts), but I'm looking for some additional info. I'm looking to obtain this set MISB and was wondering what a fair price is (here in the US). In addition, are there any differences between this re-released Legend from the original set (6278) (such as stickers, different pieces, BURPS, cheaper parts, etc.)? Should one pursue the Legend or the original set? I'd appreciate any info any of you could provide. What a great set and this would make an outstanding addition to my Jungle Adventure.

Thanks. I try to be complete without revealing too much. Glad you enjoyed Lord S. It's quite flattering to be able to share info about yourself to others.

Excellent scene. I really like how you designed the trees. Great job! *y*

This was the gallery: Maj.Com Indiana Jones Gallery No other pictures of the scene. I didn't spend too much time looking, but the Japanese site www.pockyland.net appears to be where the images came from.

I had predicted the return of Forestmen a few years ago as part of the KK sets, as hinted through the Book of Morcia. Although this never came to fruition, perhaps the Elves will be the return of a forest-based theme. Sounds really exciting to think about large trees, forest hideouts, and bridges. References: Speculation re. New KK Sets Forestmen Collection PS. Yes! Another way to expand my Jungle! *y*

:-D I was thinking more along the line of Sting's version from the Thomas Crown Affair.

I also like the dimension/height with varying levels of detail (like the pit). This makes the overall scene look more adventurous (meaning lots of places to explore).

Actually Hoang, I built this a number of months ago for the EB Neighborhood contest. But it's mostly from bulk bricks and some detailed parts from Scorpion Palace and Harry Potter's Shrieking Shack. I could probably build again without impacting the jungle. Thanks. This is a very nice compliment. I think what made this particular MOC look good was the colors. The combination just seems to "pop". Perhaps I'll revisit this again one day. Don't forget to visit Grave Stone if you care to visit something a little scarier. ;-)

Gotcha ;-) . But I still think that the interview questions need to make the person cry. Hard emotional questions that cause a "swirley" in ones mind - kinda like windmills.

Added. That's an old one.

He could have told us he's the stage coach driver! >:-( Now who's gonna play, Driving Miss Molly?

Although dazed and confused, Molly says again: Vote? Luke, I am your father.. *wub*. taunting the old school adage, "Who's Your Daddy? Who's Your Daddy"

Outstanding! What a terrific place to visit. that would be awesome! I have not seen any members from Morocco. Asuka: I always appreciate your feedback, whether positive or negative. I value your opinion. Thanks.

From the dying breath of the Sinkable Molly Brown, she gasps, Vote... Luke, I am your father. *skull*

Never saw this one, but I will add it to the list. Sounds pretty good (reading the plot on IMDB). Another great classic is a movie called Bad Day at Black Rock. It's more of a Western adventure (although it takes place after WWII in an old town in the desert). Spencer Tracy plays a one-arm man returning from the war to deliver something to a man who lives in this town. The townspeople are trying to hide a secret though, and stop at nothing to do so. It has a great story and an all-star classic cast.

You're welcome Luxor, and thank you for that feedback. Just like a great Lego MOC, it's all about the details. Great question BB. My interest in mysteries and suspense probably spans a lifetime. First, I would say that in the late 70s, early 80s, we did not have as many toys as children do now. I think children growing up without all the toys and video games creates a high level of creativity and imagination, esp. with books, television, and movies. I enjoyed movies from a very early age, esp. those of the science fiction, fantasy, and horror variety. I can't exactly explain it, but even with great special effects now, movies have lost a certain level of suspense and adventure. They're all about shooting and explosions, rather than suspense, intrigue, and mystery. I'm getting off-topic, but let me just say that I'm sure early exposure to good mystery stories have influenced me. I also remember watching great cartoons like Scooby Doo and Johnny Quest as a kid. The stories to these cartoons were well-written and had such great characters, villains, and, story-line. I enjoyed them immensely and still watch them from time-to-time. I also did a lot of reading of HP Lovecraft, Steven King, August Derleth, some Edgar Allen Poe (and others). These outstanding horror and mystery writers peeked my interest in horror and fantasy. Halloween esp. peeks my interest and curiosity every year, and I enjoy the holiday very much. Not the dress-up, but rather the spooky stories. I even had some friends over one year and we took turns reading/telling scary stories (what a great thing to do if you have never done so). I've also hosted a Murder Mystery once, although I never participated in one; something I'd love to do. And lastly, I have this interest in old Ghost Towns. Perhaps it's just the name, or the thought of something sinister behind the tattered shades of the old wooden building watching you (OK, I'm getting in story mode again). Strike that thought. I visited a few Ghost Towns as a child and remember them. Perhaps they left a lasting impression that only a psychiatrist could figure out. Let's just say that wondering what is behind the curtain, always sparks my curiosity. Well, I hope I answered your question to some degree. Oh, I'm sorry, how could I have forgotten the equally impressive acting of Sinner who played the part of Chief Engineer, Jim Doohan, aka "Scotty". - sorry about that. :-$ Boy, don't make me have to open up a 6-pack of whoop @$$ on you! Check out my title change! Between you and the TinyPieGuy, you guys are in for it! >:-(

The chiming clock of Gold City is striking in the distance as Molly Brown walks slowly upstairs the saloon, each step creaking loudly upon the worn wooden stairway. She enters her nondescript room were she continues to pull out an old trunk from under a 4-posted bed. Opening the trunk, she finds her long-since used Colt .45 and begins loading the revolver with six bullets contained in a leather belt. After loading the sixth bullet, she slowly takes the gun pointing the barrel to her head. She pauses for just a moment thinking, "take me from this boring hell where even the site of a fat woman on a noose does not even phase these drunken cowboys". She clenches her teeth, then pulls the trigger... POW! *skull*

Neat! It reminds me of something out of Lost in Space.

I picked up just a standard green baseplate today to expand my Jungle Adventure.

I was just checking out the Brickmaster item on Lego SAH US, and noticed that there's no mention of the exclusive set. I could have sworn I saw it this morning after checking out the link provided? I wonder if it's still available.

How to Make a Good Backdrop

Interesting. So you go for the more historic images. I really like this one: I never tried photographing outside. Perhaps I'll try one day.
