Now there's a really imposing mining machine! Bat Tank + Classic Castle Dwarves + Steam Punk. Really interesting combination that you've done a terrific job in blending together. Nice job. *y*

As a big fan of the old Battlestar Gallactica, I always wanted to see BG ships in lego. I really like the Colonial Viper. The figs look really good to. Thanks for sharing.

A short and sweet interview. I have some questions, if I may SirN: What is your favorite past MOC (from your own collection)? What is your favorite theme and why? What's with the dummy in your lair? (no, not you IS :-D) Are you into ventriloquism? Who on EB do you most enjoy?

Well slap me on the @$$ and call me Betsy! What the hell do I look like, some kinda bar maid? >:-( Now you want breakfast to? That'll cost you extra mister! Plus, we only serve whiskey in this two-bit bar! I think you better stick to milk, ranch hand :-D . Sure would partner. Here, let me sit down and wait for you to get some. I like them sunny-side up (like me) :-$ . Glass o'water! What are you, some kinda Irish water boy? What do you think this is, Coyote Ugly! You try'n to get your pants sprayed? Hinck, hand me that hose over there! This cowboy's look'n to play some slip 'n slide! Dirty glasses are all we have around these parts (with the dust and all). You haven't paid for the first one Broke Back! Show me some money, and I'll show you some whiskey. And it will be gone until you start pay'n. We're not running a Whiskey Kitchen for the Poor around here. Let me translate, that's dollar bills, denaro, mullah, shillings, bucks. CASH! But since your kinda cute, being all inquisitive and all, I'll bring you a water. *wub* But don't be gett'n any ideas Imperial Scouts, or it's the hose for you again! And go dry yourself off, you look and smell like a wet dog now. Hold your horses. I've only got two hands! One at a time please. continued: Now I told you before, your not get'n any water, for you or your ranch hand friends. We don't serve O'Douls here! Damn ranch hands, they think we're runn'n a soda shop! Listen up fish face! Until someone starts buying the whiskey, you boys are gonna get cut off. I think they call you Piranha because you and your little school drink like fish. Ever thought about that? I'm not the smartest lady around these parts, but it seems to me that if you stop drinking up my supply of whiskey and start asking some questions, you boys would be gett'n some where. Now what did I tell you before. What part of NO didn't you understand; the N-part, or the O-part. >:-( Coming right up Mr. Fish... (Molly goes to the back up the bar and fills a CLEAN glass with horse piss) Here you go cowboy. I poored it real special just for you *wub* . - I bet you can't drink it as fast as you shoot, Lightning Oh, that's right. I must have not seen you pay for the first and second one. >:-( I give up! :-| Molly sits down and poors herself a glass of whiskey. BURP! :-$

That is too cool! I like the cover. What magazine did you get this in? I never saw it before. -
Only if I can have a sip. Hell, I'll take one too. Bartender...

I think they're all real builds. The photos just seem to be very high quality. My favorite is the green passenger car. These need to be official sets. Overall, these cars look better than the SFSC and the BNSF. They're outstanding! *y*

Legoland Memory of the Day Set
WesternOutlaw replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
World Wide Web; meaning I've searched the web looking for the set. -
I say since we've already hung two townies, we finish off the rest and loot this God-forsaken town. Hell, if I get shot in the process, then I'll at least go out in a bang. :-D

Imaginary Jungle Adventure List
WesternOutlaw replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
(As TheBrickster hums the tune to William Hung's rendition of ) I like this idea (or at least the concept). Sort of a Eurobricks Adventure Idol web series (like American Idol). Those that build a great adventure scene have a chance to play in Mystery Island. Those that don't get laughed at and humiliated. I want to play Simon. *n* PS. But nothing prevents someone from getting a spear in their head in the first chapter! >:-) -
Swiss Family Robinson has to be on the list. It's a classic. I listed the 1960 Disney version since it was pretty popular. I added Mogambo, but never saw it. Keep them coming. I've been adding to the list over the past few days when I think of a new one.

Imaginary Jungle Adventure List
WesternOutlaw replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I can't believe I put that in. That was a slip on my part from the other thread. Suddenly I'm feeling the need to make the extras and some of the other do weird hazing rituals for a part >:-) . Let's think of some good stuff. -
It doesn't have to be prestine, but getting an old set in a new box is like getting a new set. I save all my sets in their original boxes, but I would open this one.

Check out these outstanding trains I found on Maj.com this morning: When Lego was talking about their concept to develop a Hobby Train for AFOL, this is what I envisioned. Aren't they beautiful? Here's the gallery: Eisenbahn Gallery

I find this bizarre, truly bizarre :'-( . This is scarier than my Ghost Town. What compelled you to make so many penguins? With this many, you could go against the huge collections of 2007 Castle Crownies and Legions of the Undead. This is scary! EDIT: Batbrick, I think you need to line up 100200 bats to top this. :-D. Damn! That's a lot of penguins.

Further discussion re. the Imaginary Jungle Adventure List may be found here: The List EDIT: Well, that pretty muched stopped the responses to this interview.

I've been going through some old boxes looking for adventure-related sets, and came across a set I picked up a few years ago in Legoland California. I tried finding some additional information about this small set on the Lego sites, Ebay, and the WWW, but found nothing. I thought I'd share this rather unique set over EB. The set has no number, other than Item: 4270133 displayed on the back side and is dated 2004. I think I picked it up a year or two later. The set contains Johnny Thunder, the blue Knights Kingdom Knight (I forget his name), a crocodile, brown treasure chest, a green baseplate, two grey pillar pieces with red flags, and a green tropical plant with three leaves (23 pieces in all); plus a Legoland card that appears to slide into the two pillars. Here's another image: Is anyone familiar with this set or have seen one? I find it strange that I can't find one on the WWW. It's a neat little set, and I remember seeing quite a few of them when I bought it a few years ago.

THE LIST I am considering doing a Jungle Adventure sort of like my past mysteries (for those of you familiar with them). Within my interview, there's some discussion among EB members who are interested. We started an Imaginary List with those individuals. Rather than keeping the discussion burried within the interview thread, I figured I'd maintain the list here as a different thread. I'm still not positive that I'll be doing this Jungle Adventure, but if you are interested, you may provide your name here. Keep in mind that I will limit the number of participants based on the number of roles available. I usually keep this down to about 10-12, but if I do so, I may allow a few more. Also keep in mind that those expressing intertest should be dedicated enough to post at least every day (or at least every other day at the minimum). It's so difficult to keep these gowing when people drop out. Here's the list so far: 007 (may get the part of Pirate Pete, arrrr!) Exobuilder (may get to play a girl) Hinckley (typecasted as the captain, if there is a ship). Hollisbrick Imperialscouts Imperialshadows (-2 points for asking for +2 points just because of the hat. +10 points for the interview.) Piranha Sinner (aka Imagination) Sir Dillon Stauder (+10 points for that excellent interview) Lt. Veers (I don't know about this one with a name like that) Wouwie13 Extras: Batbrick Belloq (+2 points for the adventurer avatar) Patrick Star Darthperson8 Goggleson (will be playing a tree) Iamded Joey Lock (Who is this man?) Kill Will playing the role of a jungle zombie (just kidding) Ricecracker (As long as you don't bring up Molly Brown) TinyPiesRUS

You bet. Just keep in mind that I'm not sure I'll be doing this. It's just an Imaginary List at this point.
-
Then fine, I wasn't going to show it to you anyway! >:-( Make sure you see the revised list of actors above.
-
Is this what you had in mind, big boy?
-
You never asked me to share a picture of my lair? (ImperialShadows that is). EDIT: Updated list: Imperialshadows and Imperialscouts playing the Earls of Sandwich Stauder Hinckley (may get the part of the ship captain) TYPECAST Alert! Piranha 007 (playing the role of Skipper) Exobuilder Sir Dillon Hollisbrick Imagination (playing the role of Sinner) Wouwie13

What say we mosey on down to the coral and watch the grass grow? At least until I can figure out another way to take myself from this horrible town. Now we know why liquor was so popular around these parts. PS. Would you do me a favor and shoot me?
-
Oh my goodness! It's raining Imperials Ss. And the S stands for Sandwich :'-( . Make it stop!
