What is your favourite Lego-related sound?
Doctor Sinister replied to Kahgarak's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The sound of an e-mail arriving confirming that my S@H, eBay or Bricklink order is on the way... (OK, so not my absoute favourite sound, but it hadn't been mentioned and it is pretty exciting) Dr. S. -

I used to do funny LEGO pix on a daily basis and e-mail them to a list of people all around the world - here's my favourite one of all time: Dr. S. -
That's funny! Nice one! *y* Good photography too! Dr. S.

Probably because droids are more common in the earlier sets? Dr. S.

No, I have no walrus tendencies at all. Is this good, or bad? If it's bad, I can probably try and grow some tusks or something. Oh, and I don't clam fart in the bed on the basis that I normally get out first to avoid waking you up. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Oh dear, I fear I may have gone too far...hope my wife doesn't read this... Dr. S. Get me some pix and I'll add them to the Tabletown website. Yeah, my sigfig can visit! Dr.S.

Nice one Badger - hope they turn up here soon. Dr. S. -
Brickmaster, if you need any assistance in quelling this uprising, my troops are available. I promise, hand on heart, that we will leave once the rebellion has been quashed and not stay forever as some kind of occupying force, drinking all your beer and Coke, killing all your citizens and eating all your cheeseburgers. (Unless we really like it there...in which case you'll have a major problem getting rid of us) :-) BTW, great scene! Dr. S.

What a great way to pick up a brand new set! I'm so envious right now...thanks for the pix. EDIT - can we see the helmet on its own from the side please? Dr. S.

Either the gateway to another dimension - or his address. :-) Dr. S.

Spot the LEGO mistake!
Doctor Sinister replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Not yet, let's see if anyone else can get it. :-) Oh, AND I pointed out that LEGO should always be capitalised - he didn't believe me there either. Dr. S. -
I've had three Brickarms deliveries this week - my Army has been eating up some serious supplies. I think I ought to stop for a bit now though... 8-| Dr. S.

The image below is a scan of one of the pages from a desktop calendar issued by a firm of Loss Adjusters we use at where I work. Their theme for 2008 is famous brands - and LEGO features in April. This is the second page. Can you spot the mistake? Actually, there may even be more than one... I have actually drawn this error to the attention of a Senior Manager at the firm, but he didn't take me seriously! Dr. S.

Hey! I made it into a group EB photo! Thanks! *wub* Tabletown needs a good TV studio...the one we have is rubbish at really getting a "feel" for government propaganda. Dr. S.

Only 2 droids but about 7 Clones. Dr. S.

OK, let's do it! Got a website for it? Dr. S.

The Complete Tabletown Army!

Here's an updated picture (again, click for a mega-version): Dr. S. -
I have a bag of spare arms that I truly do not know what to do with! Re' the backpack - yes, this has been observed elsewhere, it either means that Officers must always face the enemy where possible, or we'll just have to put up with a high attrition rate in the higher ranks. :-D I may change it (the backpacks I mean), I don't know. The arms are there to stay though - I agree that it looks cool and it really allows me to give some characterisation to my men - last night I changed all of the heads of all 30 men so no two troopers are the same. I'm edging towards possibly making some kind of humorous comic strip but it's really early days yet - but the arms and the faces would allow me to do that much better. Perhaps one strip can even focus on the red backpacks? :-) Would anyone be interested in reading something like this? Dr. S.
