Huh, didn't even think of that... ...while we're on that subject though, I should mention that @Trekkie99 brought-up over on another topic that Futuron is oddly absent from the selection. Is it that Lego just lumps that subtheme under Classic Space rather than being its own distinct thing?

I sure hope they aren't, but given how lackluster Series 20 turned-out to be in spite of its significance (twentieth CMS, tenth anniversary of the theme and all), I sorta felt they'd given-up on unlicensed CMS until Series 21 came along; so, for now, I'm taking that as a signifier that they're committed to keeping them around? Heck yes to Disney Series 3, because you can go much further with that subtheme than Marvel or DC can offer before it starts becoming redundant. Plus, what further Disney CMS can offer has much broader, diverse appeal to many more interest groups whereas Marvel & DC can only really pander to fans of those properties.

Regarding Gravity Falls, that previous project may've only been archived (alongside another project, not IP-based) due to its creator being a TLG employee rather than LEGO taking issue with the IP itself. When initially archived, I was under the impression it was the latter, so it prompted me to check-out the show... I know, a lotta people see the Collectable Minifigure theme just as a means to acquire higher-quality figures that playsets can't offer, whereas I see the theme as an opportunity to acquire characters and/or archetypes that playthemes/playsets at the moment can't offer at all regardless of quality.

Still don't know why Lego keeps overlooking that theme even as a basis for a new playtheme, other than maybe Jurassic World stands in its way?

Like the DC Series (and for that matter, Harry Potter/Wizarding World), I'm rather apathetic about a Marvel CMS for the same reasons, as playsets can easily offer the same characters/figures that a CMS would be offering, so I see it all as pretty pointless. On the other hand, while I have no attachments to any of the properties that the brand offers, a Nintendo CMS would've been much more worthwhile for the same reasons Disney Series 1 & 2 have been.

Sorta forgot about this platform shortly after it launched, which is surprising since I would've been all over this sorta thing just a few years ago. Don't know why I'm not, I guess TLG's overwhelming receptiveness to AFOLs in the past two years has made this seem not as extraordinary as it would've been three or more years ago?

That ATLA project in the Third 2020 Review is already dead in the water, as the fate of @MinibrickProductions' own project based upon such (part of the Second 2020 Review wrapping-up now) renders it irrelevant whichever way it goes. James Cameron's Avatar you mean? I forgot about that, as it is cruelly ironic that they're a part of the same review.

Yep, no licensed CMS subtheme as of yet has had three Series so far, and personally I'm hoping that honor will go to Disney, as I consider them to be most worthwhile and diverse licensed subtheme for the Collectable Minifigure theme we've had so far.

I am crossing my fingers so hard for this submission hoping it'll be approved, as I've kind've become something of an obsessive cultist for this show after checking it out in light of @figura's own submission for such being archived in the manner it was. The thing is, the timing would be right for its release if it were to be approved, as the finalized product would quite likely be released in 2022 upon the show's tenth anniversary.

Congrats @Robert8 on reaching the 400 minifigure milestone and completion of your latest Advent Calendar! I love your last two designs wrapping-up this one (that is the Tree Topper & Workshop Santa). Looking most forwards to Series T! Heh, I'm digging the Egyptologist and Paleontologist suggestions... Seriously, it was awesome enough that he rendered your Hobbit design alone; but damn, THE WHOLE SERIES?!

Heh, I'm actually really digging this "Collector" trend, could we perhaps see it continue past this Advent Calendar? Heck, I wouldn't even mind if Lego adopted it for their own CMS, with archetypes such as Building Set Collector, Figurine Collector, Comic Book Collector, Plush Toy Collector, Trinket Collector, and so on...

Neither this nor @just2good's review are improving my overall opinion of this Series unfortunately...

Your "La Befana" design is a real beauty (love the color choices and the shawl printing complementing her headscarf), and I'm really adoring the "Rockwellian" vibes your Sleigh Rider are giving me...

Really? Where did you hear that? That would be an odd decision, but I wouldn't mind it since, as I said before, while it has grown on me, I wasn't a huge fan of the DuckTales version initially. While it's not confirmed yet, most are presuming it'll be its own thing given that no one affiliated with the DuckTales reboot looks to be working on this DarkWing project.

Dang, your Godfather and Nightgown Girl are the best designs this Calendar has offered yet! With two Nutcracker-inspired archetypes in row, I'm hoping to finally see the Nutcracker himself here soon... Yeah, but that's not always posible. Gorilla, Lizard, Unicorn, Elephant, Dragon, Llama.... all of those are imposible to include in a CMF bag That is unless their younger counterparts are included instead, though an Elephant calf even then still might be too big, which in that case they'd opt for a new "plush toy" mold?
