  1. Lego Narnia is something that I would have loved as a child - now I don't think there are that many sets that could really be done that aren't very similar to sets from other themes e.g. the Dawn Treader is another large ship, the centaurs would be the same as in HP etc - so I'm not super interested in it being made as a theme. And I don't think it would get made even if the films were current because there is too much Christian controversy that goes along with the books. What I do think is great is that those who want to make Narnia MOCs now have both the fawn legs and centaur pieces to work with.
  2. This just makes me think of the scene in Philosopher's Stone where the kids are marvelling at the Nimbus 2000 through the window of Quality Quidditch Supplies. Now that's the original 'broom boy'. ? What a great story @klinton ?
  3. The carriage was one of those sets that was unexpected and I think it got some negativity straight away because of the price, plus a lot of AFOLS probably can't fully appreciate the play aspect of the set which is actually very clever if simplistic inside. That said, I really love it as a display piece. I have added extra horses, but it's a very majestic looking set either way. I would love a Durmstrang ship or merpeople set, but I'm not at all unhappy that Lego made the carriage.
  4. I think @MandRproductions hit the nail on the head for me personally when he said that the new AAT just doesn't look right because they haven't captured the blue stripe up the middle. Grievous' Ship is meant to be 487 pieces and $79.99 whereas the Night Buzzard is 595 pieces and supposedly $10 less at $69.99.
  5. Yes, but it's all been said before. And writing it down on an IG post doesn't confirm anything as we all know. It's just a matter of who you trust.
  6. Not really sure what the point of that was ...
  7. I mean, none of us can say for sure, but the evidence would certainly suggest so - that's three sets now that they've used the old helmet in since they brought out the new one in 2018. What I do personally like about the new helmet is that you can put it on TROS Rey and recreate her in the X-Wing. :)
  8. Falconfan must know that anything less than new D2C or CMF information and we will be totally underwhelmed. ?
  9. ^ Me to - following just to keep an eye on it. And yes it does make it sound like a reveal is close, but then so did @Falconfan1414's comment to me. Also I think LTB in this context means Last Time Bye.
  10. So am I just being really stupid or does Vernon Dursley's jumper in the Privet Drive set not actually match anything he wears in the movies? I know Dudley's is from PS and Petunia's is from COS, but I can't find Vernon wearing that jumper. The nearest I can find is in Deathly Hallows, but he has a coat over his jumper and there are no diamonds on his jumper.
  11. So just an update: I ordered my Burrow and student pack on 1st June a couple of minutes after midnight and it was delivered today. ? So excited!
  12. I think we all know what the other is going to say now we've been discussing this stuff for so long. ? Glad we're on the same page. ?
  13. At first I was really surprised because I had only just been looking at the old ones and the new one is not a moulded head. That being said, I think it looks pretty good in terms of the face print; the one thing that felt off to me at first was the lack of nose, but if you look at Griphook his nose isn't actually that much bigger than a humans so as minifigures normally don't have noses I think it's okay. The defining feature of the goblins is actually their ears and they've captured that with the hairpiece.
  14. ? We shall have to remember that one for next year.
  15. I don't normally watch his reviews so I just went and watched it to see what you meant. I agree that if he was scaled down he should have moulded ears and in fact your comment reminded me that the one thing I find odd about the old troll figure is that his head looks tiny compared to his body. If that was redone I would expect it to have ears. I think you nono the answer to that one. ?
  16. I wouldn't say 'really annoying', but I don't agree; I think Grawp would look really strange without the ears and nose. I just took a picture of him and got rid of the nose print and to be fair that looked okay, but get rid of the nose and ears and he just looks wrong. He seems to be looking at it that it is an upscaled minifigure so I can see why he would say that it shouldn't have ears or a nose, but it just doesn't work for me.
  17. So there is going to be a lot of new leg prints after all ??.
  18. I don't think so, but the price point seems around right. There is a definite AFOL market for trains and I'd say like the UCS Hogwarts Castle there would be a market for those who aren't generally in to Lego to have a large display piece of something so iconic.
  19. Motorised UCS Hogwarts Express? To be clear, I would much prefer Diagon Alley, but that's the only other thing that seems plausible to me.
  20. I know, but like, that's not how they are in the instruction booklet so Cho just has to stay as she is. ? ?
  21. I find the inconsistencies very annoying as I'm very much a purist and don't like to change things. But another thing for me is that CMF Cho has mid legs, but her hair is the OOTP style whereas in the new student pack she has normal legs and her hairstyle is actually more like her GOF look. So either her hairpieces or legs need switching. ? But never mind ... Also I've just listened to the chapter of PS read by The Cursed Child cast and they actually read it really well. ?
  22. So I built the Astronomy Tower this afternoon and you get four mandrakes all with the same print. But at first I thought there were two different prints because to me if you turn the print upside down it looks like the Mandrake is laughing - it's a trick of the eye but very cute. ?
  23. Yes very Ray Winstone! Ah you miss the faces then lol.
  24. They are perfect for sleep lol. The times I've drifted in and out of sleep to a HP audio. Speaking of which, Simon Callow's voice is quite close to Stephen Fry's, just a little harsher at times. I've never had any interest in The Cursed Child, but Noma's voice is okay. Alison Sudol looks so different with long straight hair lol I didn't recognise her straight away. And Dan pulls some very funny faces from the quick snippet I just watched. ?
