I love black star wars stuff too, can never get an enough lol. :D Nice idea and comments on the sets. Like you, i didn't get any because they are really expensive. If I only had one complaint about them, it would be the pricing. I really want to get 75156 Krennic's Imperial Shuttle but its out of my budget.

Nice job, looks much better!

I agree, it takes a lot of practice to acquire a skill. Good idea, i did find a lot of interesting designs on google but nothing on how to do it.

Nice, was your inspiration from an X-wing fighter?
-
Thanks, makes sense. Greebling on spaceships always baffles me because of its extreme detail. I tried googling but no luck there.
-
Nice updates, are those stickers or printed pieces?
-
Detailing, or Greebling with Lego parts just perplexes me. Its definitely adds new dimensions to your builds, but its very hard to achieve. Just how do you do it?

Welcome to Eurobricks! That is one fantastic tie fighter moc! I really like how it captures the look too.
-
Really fantastic! Love the detailing very much too.

Based upon the Lego set hulk buster from The Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. This was a tough build, especially the cockpit section but i do like the ending result. Enjoy! And as always, link to my page for the full gallery: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/436246

Thanks! Studless is hard work but I'm up for the challenge.

Another annoying copyright issue, they have to realize the fine boundary between fan made and commercial bricks. I do have to say, it is an awesome and helpful idea. I would advise changing the title though because of copyright. -
Not sure if this fits here, if not, feel free to move it. Any way, another fun build and trying something out of my range and comfort zone. Always loved castles, especially the ones in Germany ever since I visited the country years ago. So I decided to build a castle of my own in architecture style inspired by the castles on the Rhine river. Its no one in particular, just a made up one. Enjoy! Nice speeder bike concepts and I like how you made one for each trilogy too. What program do you use to edit the photos?
-
Really nice, love the way you built it too, especially the angled parts in the front.

Thanks, glad you guys liked it. Yeah, had a problem with the cockpit section, it wasn't the easy part of the ship to build. it either came out too big or too small. is there a way i can make it just the right size?

Here you go, my first moc of 2017. Built this while organizing lol. Sure does feel good to be back building with Lego. Enjoy! Link to page: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/436080#reviews

Nice build! Love the use of colors to give that classic vibe going on there. The parts usage is great too and its always nice to see a mini fig friendly ship.

Thanks for pointing that out, just what I'm looking for! -
This is really beautiful! Love how you put that together as well. Good luck with the contest!

Thanks it really does feel good to be back into the world of Lego, and thank you for the suggestions, sounds like we think the same thing when it comes to Lego. Great minds think a like! I do use LDD a lot and that helps too when I am stuck on a building project or trying to plan it out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have a huge bucket filled with Lego parts, mostly grey, bly, red and blue, plenty of black too. I usually go by parts when organizing but i come to realize i have way to much lol and I run out of containers. These parts are mostly from Lego Star Wars, Creator and Ferrari sets. Maybe i should try assorting from color? I usually start with the cockpit area too to get a sense of scale. I do want this ship to be mini fig friendly. Is there a way you can make a ship with out it being too blocky?

Nice build and use of parts, love that cockpit section too.

Hey guys, Hope all is well! If this subject has been talked about before, please feel free to move it. I finally gave my self that push to get back into Lego and now I am back building again. It feels good to be back in the game where i have been away from it from a long time. It really helps keep my mind busy and imagination flowing. Now i just need to finish organizing my bricks before I can build lol. I don't know why but I'm in the mood to build something from Star Wars: Rouge One. Though its been done before, I was thinking of that Imperial Zeta class cargo shuttle called rouge one in the movie. Maybe a UCS version, considering I have plenty of grey bricks and technic pieces and the collectable black series ship for a visual aid. Just at a curiosity, How would you organize your bricks for building? would it be by piece, color or just build it as you organize? Just wandering because Its been a while since i have built anything. I use to build as I organize but I'm willing to try something different. Also what is the best way to start building that Imperial Zeta Class cargo ship? Should I begin with the hull or the cockpit section? I have found some lego instructions on Kylo Rens shuttle and the AT AT walker, they were pretty helpful to get angled cockpits and sections. Browsing through official Lego instructions is really helpful when you have no clue where to start building. So you know what I'm talking about. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zeta-class_cargo_shuttle
