  1. There is nothing new on PF or Remote. The pictures and the box do not show anything about that. It's bad, but we are getting no new PF-stuff at this anniversary
  2. Can you try earth green please
  3. yes, in the past we are getting new electric stuff every decade with a year ending on seven. In 1997 there was the new power motor introduced and in 2007 the new PF-System. This means that new systems came up at anniversary 20 and 30, but no one realy cares about these anniversaries. My bet was that we are getting 2017 new PF-stuff, but this was a wrong advertisement. Furthermore, the PF-lineup is not complete and I think we can see additional stuff in the near future
  4. Another theory is that there was first a 42067 set planned for 2H17 and then Lego decided (for some reason) to move this set into the 1H18 lineup. This will mean a american style car that can be towed by 42070 and must fit this scale. Maybe we can expect a new car as the first half flagship with the number 42067, but smaller as Porsche or 42039 or 42000 in a piece range from 1000 to 1300 as usual for first half flagships. This seems a bit unusual because we can expect the smallest set of 2018 as the number 42071 and the first half flagship as something as 42078 or 42079, but maybe they keep this number for this set to match the stickers on 42070. The idea of a car as first half flagship in 2018 seems not so far away because the lifetime cycle for each set is nearly 3 half years and in 1H2018, the lifetime for the Porsche set (last real car) is over so it is time to replace the set with a newer one (does not matter whether it is licensed or not)
  5. But why this extra zero when it is a simple year? In this case a "tow 67" sticker would and should be enough
  6. It could be simple a phone number or area code. "call 067 and we pick you up with our tow truck"
  7. It could also be a hidden date, meaning that something happens on July the 6th. Maybe the set will released earlier at this date
  8. An extra car inside the set would explain the price much better, but the final boxes are online and there is no such a hint to any gift. The worst thing on this 067-crime is that the designers are reading all the stuff an laugh about us :D I'm sure they have much fun by doing such a mistery. I really like the idea of a parts pack to recolor an existing set
  9. For sure, but there is a missing A-model from him now. When I first saw the 42070 without stickers I thought this model was build by him 'cause it is an american style truck and this designer is an american people. Maybe 42067 is an another american style car (Mustang fo example ) that can be towed by 42070 for a "let us play american feeling"
  10. Watching and following the public designer on tour videos, it is clear to see which designer has build which 1H2017 model. As we know from the stickers, 42069 is designed by Milan an 42070 by Uwe. Mentioned before in this topic, the designer of 42068 is for sure Alfred Pederson because he is completely missing on the 1H list. One designer is also missing and this is Michael T. Maybe he was one year on vacation OR more possible he build the surprising 42067. Following this strategy we must get a 42067 set, otherwise there is a designer in the Technic theme who does nothing for 2017.
  11. Talking about colors is indeed offtopic, but Lego Technic is in the golden age at the moment an defacto they bring new stuff more and more because they can. Tharts all
  12. Don't know why Technic is far away from regular blue, maybe the 42070 in blue would look weird with red or just overcolored. I think earlier or later we will for sure see a supercar in medium azure or dark azure which fullfilles his color palette in panels and beams like the Porsche does it for orange. Remember in 2011, the orange color was very rare and now nearly every beam and important Technic part is available in orange. This will be the same in the future for other colors but nobody knows when. At any day we will have arrived the point at "we have all parts in all colors yet, so what happened next?" It is a logical step that new colors come to the theme to keep it alive and that the wish for something newish and for the "want-it-feeling" is still present.
  13. Dark azure is a brilliant color choice and is maybe exclusive to 42070. Think to bright green of 42039 which was exclusive to this set and is still exclusive. More colors offers designers and moc'ers more possibilities to combine colors in sets. For example all shades of blue (dark, medium and all azure) are looking perfekt together with yellow or orange. People are sad to see just red or yellow. But talking about colors, I think the flamed yellow (step inbetween common yellow and orange) should definitely find his way to Technic theme. All construction vehicles will look much better in flamed yellow instead of common yellow. It is curios, but the 2013 small panel is not available in common yellow, but in flamed yellow in a new City jungle set. This let us guess that flamed yellow will come to Technic and later maybe some new green, like real dark green (called earth green) or the beautiful sandgreen color. And yes, 2017 was bluish, so 2018 is not
  14. What's about the color of 42070? There are no new infos yet. At a detailed video of FamilyGamerTV on YouTube, the truck looks like really bright and I think it is a medium azure color rather than dark azure. There are no videos or pictures that shows the medium azure pullback together with the 42070 for direct comparison, so all what we can do is speculate up to August. But compared with videos of the new Boost set, the truck looks medium azure, because the dark azure Boost parts are really darker. So what the community does think? Is it medium or dark azure? Maybe that's the big TLG 40 anniversary surprise to let us guess what color it is :D
  15. Looking at the pictures for the first time, I also thought it is bright orange or the sometimes called "flamed yellow" color. But compared with the hands and heads of minifigs in the same pic, it is indeed common yellow. I think the bright orange is not a bad color and should find his way to the Technic theme at any time for construnction vehicles and machinery Edit: looking at another pics it seems it is really bright orange alias flamed yellow. Sorry lets hope for those panels in common "real" yellow next year
  16. In a summer city jungle set this part is used by a helicopter. This was the intention of my first post to say. It is interesting that parts we are waiting for are available first in another themes and then later maybe in Technic
  17. Yes common is the right word here. It is good to see that the 2x5 panel is coming now in yellow, so the waiting has an end. It is one of the panel family that is now available in all common colors, but yellow was the only missing until now
  18. It is a bit offtopic, but for a while I wonder why the 2x5 small panel (left and right) isn't available in bright yellow because this is a standard color like black or white. I personally waiting for this panel in yellow for a long time and now - what a surprise - this part is used in the city jungle theme by a helicopter and not in Technic. Furthermore in the new Star Wars sets, there are panels and beams coming in reddish brown, so it is possible that we will see future technic sets with this color
  19. The guy in the video does not show the winch and not the crane elevation. It is really a shame that some nerds build and show the models without any plan and interest at this important fairs and presentations. By the way it is really medium azure. The dark azure (like in the new boost set) is really darker
  20. Don't think it is 42066 medium blue. Make no sense that Lego releases the 1H and 2H flagship in the same color. And yes the 42069 has a front winch as speculated several pages before ... what a surprise :D But talking about the winch, can anybode explain what kind of string it is? In booth sets, 42069 and 42070, the string looks metallic and thicker than the regular lego string, like a new thing
  21. Parts in new colors already detected for the 42070 tow truck: 3x13 fender piece in black differential red dogbone H-frame red 5x11 panel in medium azure 3x11 panel in medium azure 5x11 cutted panel in medium azure 5x7 panel left medium azure 5x7 panel right medium azure 3x5 panel left medium azure 3x5 panel right medium azure beam 11L medium azure beam 4x2 angular medium azure May not finished, but thats a lot. I assume medium azure for this set. If it is dark azure, add 3x11 bow panel with extra holes in dark azure to the list and replace all medium with dark
  22. The 42066 jet will also looks better with less holes, but the medium blue panel in this set are the new ones unless it is really needed or not. This is what I mean. Since the release of the new panel, the old one get deprecated unless which color it is. But now in 2017 this panel returns
  23. I wonder why Lego brings the old version oft the 3x11 bowed panel in purple and not the newer one with extra holes. I mean since the release of the new yellow panel in the 42009 mobile crane in 2013, other colors was updated with this new version (red, black, blue, medium blue, medium azure). So this is the first time that we will see the "old" 3x11 bowed panel, but with a brand new color. Seems a bit strange
  24. MR in front of 42069 let us know Milan Reindl
