All modulars in one line (including 10224 ) HERE By: Galerie de Eiker86 (435)

Love the street lamp!!! It looks like it is also an electric pole (am I wrong?), if so it'd be great to see it connected with others with a rope. The hardware looks fantastic! Well done!

Excellent! I particularly like the red garbage can and the air conditioning system on the roof! And an entirely tiled floor! Hope to see some more pics soon! An apple store is definitely missing in my city...

Thank you grogall!!!

Anyhow, I am sure that TLG had seen yours before...

grogall, don't know how you manage it but... after a few days with no post on the new modular, you posted one last night saying we might get some official press release soon...mhmhm and today.... mhmhmmh THANKS for sharing the info!!! A bank with a drive through ??... What the hell .. I knew things where strange in the USA but this xD I've seen this in Germany as well... (Kassel), it would definitely be great to have some kind of drive through!!! But for the moment I'll be satisfied with an elevator Eventhough, as someone said, for me too a modular is "static" and not meant for play, but I guess this was just meant to switch form stairs... Actually I recall some people saying that the escalators in GE would have been cooler if they were working, and thinking myself, oh yeah that would have been fun... but to build, not to play with...

I "ticked" on the frog as well, how can this be useful on a mayor's desk??? It might be a paperweight???

Gave you 2 points in the contest Jameson42, definitely my favorite... only one place behind podium... For sure much better than the official log cabin... and with the lights and hot tub... a dream! The windows and the building corners are a must in terms of design! I think you didn't win because it doesn't really fit with the other WV buildings as it is too "real" and perfectly executed... it doesn't look like a "kid" toy but as an "adult" toy. Anyhow, I'd buy one (or more) if TLG ever released your design! Well done!!!

Excellent job BrickBox, I really like this ladder...! Also enjoyed your photographic skills, especially on picture 1 and 6 (I almost got vertigo...). It really puts your truck in value! Cheers,

Worth keeping a spare Modular for resale?
SwissBrick replied to SwissBrick's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Thank you ALL for your constructive answers and especially BrickBox for the links..! Well, I think I'll just keep it, since I bought another one again yesterday... As mentioned, I don't know if the price is going to increase a lot when discontinued but anyhow, for the price I paid it is an incredible good brick/price ratio! And I love the colors of the set. In case I can't resist to open one more/if the price doesn't increase much, I will still have a spare one. And if the price increases a lot, I'll just wait a bit more with the two spare ones. Anyway, I don't think I am going to buy more than two modulars/other rare items unless they are really cheap/on sale since I don't really do it for investment but to reimburse the ones I bought. I saw a guy on french tv a few months ago who had stored for over 200'000 euros worth of Legos for resale purposes... I think that at this scale it can only be a good deal, even if the price increase is only 10% in 3 years.. Has anyone else noticed that FB was to sell all over the place and always on sale??? Does TLG have a huge amount left and needs to make place for the upcoming Town Hall? Thanks again and cheers from very cold switzerland! -
Dears, I tried the "pitched" roof but am not really satisfied with it as I am lacking the higher roof bricks (like in GG and PS)... but anyway, here it is: photo (19) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (20) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr with other modulars (I should have done it all dark red and not grey on the 3rd window's side...): photo (22) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (26) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr Anyway, thanks for your constructive comments, it helps to learn..

Thank you Locutis! Dark brown is also my favorite building color... I really love the buildings from Vincent Kessel and Badsneaker, they are the ones who made me try my first MOC... SwissBrick

Hi all, if someone has experience with this, you might help me, thanks in advance! I bought Fire Brigade when it cam out through LEGO shop at home and was very happy with it as it is. Then I saw one on sale in a shop where usually there's no Modular or exclusive sets. So I couldn't resist to take it. I made my first MOC with it and am glad to be able to take it apart again and try new designs. Now I see Fire Brigade in almost any toy store in my region... for sale again...! And of course took another one... as it really is worth it (compared to the price I paid when it first came out)!! But now I don't know what to do... Should I open it and use the bricks for own creations, build another floor for my usual FB or keep it unopened and wait a few years to sell it? I think it will never reach the value of Cafe Corner, but who knows, it might pay back for the two others I bought...? What do you think??? Thanks and cheers from cold switzerland!

Fabuleux!!! Badsneaker, you've done a fantastic job (as always...). I definitely wish this would be the official 10224... It is exactly what we'd expect from a massive Town Hall!! Like Jamie's one, I would looooooove to have it in the middle of my town Again, all my respect for your work, Cheers!

Corner Shop & Apartments - Modular Building
SwissBrick replied to brickcitydepot's topic in LEGO Town
Wow!!! Excellent, I love the roof, the windows on second floor, the "chain holders" on the sidewalk, the lamps and 5.1 on third floor and this is just peanuts in comparison to the overall look of the building!!! Brilliantly done and very inspiring, when I get older I want to be able to build jus t like this.... I think I have more chances to get rich and buy you the instructions and the parts to go along... Tank you very much for sharing! -
Thank you Legocrazy81, you are right, the MMV building didn't look right there, I'll try to moc it.. and adapt it to the existing town. In the meantime, I removed it. Thanks for the feedback! Kind regards, SwissBrick photo-35 par SwissBrick, sur Flickr

Hi, as Stefan van Verk mentioned the tower comes from the Tower Bridge, but I made one tower out of two... photo-32 par SwissBrick, sur Flickr And thanks everybody for your positive comments. I do agree the MMV building look out of place, I'll try to MoC them into a modular... Cheers from Switzerland

Excellent DutchTreat!!! Very inspiring Something even more "perfect" would be a spiral stairway in the back joining the balconies.. Anyhow, IMPRESSIVE! Thanks for sharing, Simon
