[MOC] Assault on Jedha: A Rogue One MOC
Ellisss_2 replied to marathon_productions's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks good, but you double posted! -
I have started creating the mechanism to move the wings from flight mode to landing mode. Please bear in mind this is my first attempt at building a technic structure. The mechanism is taken from 10212 with small modifications. Look ok, @nerdsforprez? Kind regards, Ellis.
-
@nerdsforprez Ok I understand now
-
Looking very good! But like Vader Fan said, I'm not sure if that small beige gear will hold. Kind regards, Ellis.
-
Ok sounds good, I do like the detachable cargo bay. However like you said there are no interior pictures or scenes if the interior for that version. Kind regards, Ellis.
-
Sounds like a great contest! I don't think my UCS Cargo Shuttle qualifies though ahaha
-
No problem, which variant are you planning to base your MOC on?

@RexExLiberi My model is based on this version of the transport shuttle where the cargo bay is fixed. Kind regards, Ellis.

@krisandkris12 I'm going to build brickbuilt wings now! @La Chupacabra How could I have been so stupid to forget this! Thank you very much! Kind regards, Ellis.

[FINISHED][2.2 meters long] Venator class star destroyer "ATELLES"
Ellisss_2 replied to Kommander's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Speechless. This is amazing! The Venator I am working on will never reach this level if size or awesomeness. Kind regards, Ellis -
@Cult_Of_Skaro I agree it is disappointing that the bottom of the plates show in flight mode. I was initially going to build the wings with solid bricks, but decided they would be too heavy to support. @VaderFan2187 The wings are definitely too short, I have just realised after looking at some pictures. I will get it sorted don't worry! Kind regards, Ellis.
-
Thank you, I am glad it does!
-
Ok dude, thanks for the advice :D.
-
Thank you! I can't believe I didn't realize that the display stand wouldn't work ahaha. Kind regards, Ellis.
-
Update #1 I have created the first set of wings. I am not sure whether I like them or not, I think the wings definitely need some greebling.
-
Thank you!
-
Hello! Here is a picture with the wings swept back: Kind regards, Ellis.
-
This looks great! However, the engine angles and size just look a little bit off to me. Kind regards, Ellis.

Ahaha good point! It is definitely becoming a challange and a half. Let's keep the thread on topic now though, we're wandering ahaha.
-
I am also working on a UCS ISD scale Venator, I just haven't been updating it frequently. I shall update it tomorrow though hopefully.
-
I don't know how with three MOCs on the go. I have learnt my lesson to stick to one at a time now!
-
@Inthert Thank you for such a detailed reply! I knew they had stolen something from the First Order transporter ahaha! Regarding the front and rear, once the cocpit area is on I am sure it will be much clearer. I will move the landing gear further forward in the gray section. @VaderFan2187 I will most likely try a few different mixtures of colours, but I will definitely try yours! Kind regards, Ellis.

Thanks dude, I appreciate that you think I'm a great builder.
