    Haha true, I’m still in disbelief that they would make a city shop with so many pieces and not vehicle driven..that’s a lot of donuts Maybe it’s a stop off point for the Police? It will be a long wait until we see pics, I have forgotten when do things surface for summer release sets? Edit - added comment

    Wow! Thanks for the list @Falconfan1414 Lots of interesting names on the list here, excited to see the fairground minifigure pack, sounds promising i wonder what on earth is 60233? Opening of the donut store I’m not into the space sets but can’t wait to see them, hopefully it will make lots of fans happy after a long wait.

    Completely agree with you re interiors maybe this is what bothers me about it. Also the garage interior seems plain. I just saw brickset have their review up might have to have a look at that.

    Haha fall asleep and wake up to 8 pages of comments already. initial reaction upon seeing it was I like it (maybe not love it but always changes when I’m building it) it’s different ie shape of the build. Which I do like seeing in the modulars reflects the real world sort of. Despite maybe not being the totally refined in the technique. The photo someone brought up of the grey pieces at the corners do look a bit unrefined but Overall I like the look of it. The interior is a little lack lustre for me from the initial photos maybe it’s because there’s no tiling as per other modulars?! So it seems a bit unfinished? But it’s nothing a little MOCing can’t fix. I think we have also been so spoilt with the recent interiors that we expect everyone to follow suit. Pros -Liking the difference in the angled design. -like the use of a Vet clinic -I like the colour, I missed out on town hall (which was during a period where I stopped buying sets, I now regret not picking it up before they retired it, Australian prices for the resale are double ugh ?) -I like the tow truck it looks like quite a clever build. - even though they aren’t new the animals included. - I don’t mind the repetitiveness of the top floors most buildings have this anyway. CONS - like others have said it feels like a weird combination to have a vet above a garage. - interiors which can be fixed ( although I don’t usually like doing it to modulars) in saying that the vet space is good. Just the apartment and garage something is lacking. - price increase but expected. For the designer it must be so hard coming up with something everyone will love, actually I would say it’s nearly impossible. Overall the designer has done a great job, us AFOLs just have high expectations and build up the release ? I think it will grow on most people over time who are a bit on the fence about it. My two cents

    Hahahahaha I know how you feel! I’ll be waking up to the same thing in the morning. Loving the banter everyone... looking forward to the reveal and everyone’s comments. I almost hope it’s not what they’re saying it is just to so we are all taken by a big surprise ? enjoy the countdown guys..

    Fingers crossed we get an official announcement this week or next?! We’ll be a month out from the usual release date of Jan 1. Hoping it’s not a police set, but would probably still buy it. Haha I’m still wishful thinking for a museum at some point, I was hoping the caveman exhibit in the city capital was a hint

    I’m just happy we get any amount of sets. I take it we might be waiting a while to get further info on these sets. Also hoping for Diagon Alley shop D2C set like it’s been mentioned similar to Ninjago. Do people think it could be possible to see something like this? Have the Ninjago D2C been successful? I don’t collect the Ninjago general sets but I purchased the D2C because I thought they were fantastic, so swayed me into buying them

    Thanks, missed the boat on this one. Ugh scalpers... I need to be faster than them next time hahaha.. I wish LEGO would make these sets and the Bricktober packs regularly available, obviously they are popular enough. Why do they do it this way? Seems that the scalpers are the winners in these cases. I bought all the HP and FB sets on day one release. I’d rather hand my money over to TLG so they can keep making these sorts of awesome sets!

    That’s the one! That’s a great custom, would love to get a new official buckbeak mould like that. Ahh can’t wait to hear news of new sets. Anyone in Australia have news on access for us of the Bricktober pack? I’ve looked online to buy but the prices are extreme...then add postage to here ugh...

    That looks amazing that MOC Hogwarts. If all the sets together complete something similar. Everyone will be very happy I’m taking this with a grain of salt... but have people seen a version of Hagrids Hut just recently added to IG about 1 hour ago, claiming it’s the new Hagrids hut set.

    Wishful thinking on my part but Would love to see a single use type building like a museum, the exterior could be traditional or modern. I could also imagine the interior having amazing details. I think the release of the Arctic sets and the new city square set 60200, teasing a museum got me thinking about a modular detailed one.. one can hope... With the stamped down on leaks and early info/rumours does this mean we won’t get anything until official release, I forget when around about would that be? If it’s a January release?

    Staff at my local Toyworld said they will be getting the Hogwarts Express in September, not sure of exact dates but was told during next month. If you have a Toyworld near you it might be worth asking if they know further info Also not sure if people in Melbourne saw that LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Chadstone are opening early at 8am on the 1st September for the release of the Hogwarts set.

    As much as I love the new Hogwarts D2C set, i would be disappointed if the diagon alley set was non minifig scale. Like people have said in the video the it does kinda look like on the smaller scale side The first release of diagon alley was so fantastic and based on what we have seen so far of all the current new sets I’m hoping they release a new diagon alley set with the amazing detailed interiors and new buildings which weren’t previously released. Wishful thinking would love a modular version.. How LEGO love to tease us, unfortunately time will tell and now it’s another waiting game...

    LEGO store September calendar has been released, early VIP access to two new exclusive sets mid September, what do you think the chances are that one would be the winter village set?? Fingers crossed we get news soon.

    These are absolutely amazing, worth the wait for the reveal, the designers have done an amazing job! I cannot wait to get my hands on these. countdown on!

    I agree with what’s been said in most posts for and against. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed hearing the micro scale news for Hogwarts. But it makes sense for it to be this scale instead. I think the precedent of the quality of the Disney castle was what some people had in mind. I’m reserving my judgment until we see pics of the full set wether or not I purchase also pending the price tag (Australia always is highly marked up, so I might end up saving money haha) It might be one which appeals only to the big Potter fans. In saying that makes me happy that this means we will hopefully be getting the high quality system sets continuing as add ons hopefully over the next few years to complete the Hogwarts sets. Now that this is known, I’m hoping for a nicely detailed minifig upgrade of Diagon Alley in the future sets. Also Still excitedly waiting on the CMF to be revealed, hopefully they don’t disappoint.

    I don’t login in often but I’ve been following the thread as I’m a massive Harry fan and I am keenly waiting for all these amazing sets. I spoke with my local toy retailer a few months ago about the Harry Potter sets (where they’ve helped me out purchasing the CMF sets previously) and they told me that LEGO did have the Harry Potter CMF in the retailer catalogue and they are keenly waiting for it as they think it will sell really well. It’s set for September release in Australia (we always seemed to get everything delayed) I can’t see why they would lie and they offered to take my details to call me as soon as they come in. Maybe Lego is getting better at keeping things under wraps? As much as I enjoy the leaks it would be kinda nice to get the official info and surprise from LEGO. I might be mistaken but wasn’t the Disney castle a well kept secret?! Unless as previously mentioned it’s been dropped since the retailer catalogue.

    I haven't bought any of the Architecture sets yet, but this one is fantastic and makes me want to collect them all! Quick question is it hard to get the spacings Of the "carriages" right? Looks like the eye could be fiddly?
