  1. It's not only the breadth of characters, it's also the physical progress that has been made. In less than ten years we have seen Mr Freeze go from a plain blue costume to the proper dome, printed body and a mini mech, Killer Croc reflecting his comic book counterpart and evolving into a really big fig and Batman gaining a physical utility belt, among other things. Now the Trinity will be joined by the Super Friends, we will soon be able to form a BTAS universe League and Wonder Woman finally gets a rogue. Happy happy joy joy!
  2. I don't want to seem like a cynic, but is that definitely a minifig? I'm only asking because my image is brought to me by iPhone, and is therefore very small, even with zoom. Better another Catwoman than another Joker, anyhoo. I'll shush now.
  3. The glimmer of hope for me is that dreadful Hulk set. Don't get me wrong, my son really wants it but he's 3. If they can produce that then they can produce a bigger Lantern battle set.
  4. The leak pics have now been taken down by order of Instagram
  5. Not really. The one in the render looks an awful lot like the CB we already have, i.e. Owen Mercer, whereas the TLBM version is more like Digger in his traditional outfit and white boomerangs. Still, 2018 looks to be coming up nicely with a good set size range, nothing too massive excluding the elusive D2C. All that is needed now is that and the complete CMF list.
  6. That there Joker is a neat little nod to his ice cream truck. The others look a little, well, limited in terms of imagination. The placeholder for Cheetah looks like Scarlet Witch. Deviating wildly away for a moment, I really like the crook dressed as a tree
  7. Tropical Joker is in the closing song, Friends are Family, dressed in a similar manner to the CMF Batman in his wetsuit, and looking not a million miles away from Killing Joke Joker.
  8. They would have to do a macro version of his evolved self - he's only 2 inches long in "real life". Entirely in trans colours. Seriously though, the scope for the various Lantern Corps is vast. Now we have two GLs, the opportunity for something resembling a Corps is ever so slightly greater. Come on Guy, you can do it! To be honest, at this stage any other Batman rogue will be gravy. However, as the movie has already given us fourteen (I think) villains we didn't have before, and the 2018 focus is on the greater DCU, I think we have seen an end to the Bat villains for now. This is when someone with intel gets me down off my soapbox
  9. If it's not Black Adam it really has to be Dr Sivana as the choices are Black Adam related, unlikely or just plain daft. Mr Mind and Captain Nazi, I'm talking about you in particular.
  10. My bad. Apparently when I get excited about Lego I forget how to read.
  11. So how many previously unreleased characters are left to help me part with my money? I mean aside from those mentioned above, like Dr Phosphorus, Samurai, El Dorado, Apache Chief and Black Vulcan. Suit variants are something else.
  12. Thank you. It combines one of my favourite characters with my dog. There is a lot of good Bat-branding in the movie, it would be a shame not to use it. It's funny, when the second wave was announced a fair number of people said they couldn't see enough to make another series. Not only are there enough Batsuits to fill about three waves, but there are plenty of alternate costumes, villains and secondary characters to boot. What are the odds of getting an Inmate Bane in a CMF bag?
  13. I'd like to see one of the orphans sporting a load Bat Merch. Minfig Bat T-shirt? Yes please, then I will be a step closer to creating a purist me!
  14. Disappointed now please, definitely. The suspense of being disappointed later is killing me.
  15. Not sure if it's one that I would want, but I would hazard a guess that as it was released as a torch, Easter Bunny Batman could make an appearance. Mind you, an alternative suit colour and a white utility belt.
  16. Newbie here, been a member for a while but I have never been in the position to post something first, so I'm confident with this one. I found the Build Your Own Adventure with John Stewart in my local Waterstones today. It's a simple build and GL's leg print isn't great, but hey, my GL Corps just doubled in size! The book is quite fun and contains the build instructions for the jet. If anyone knows or knows of Rod Gillies, he designed the ideas builds in the book. And I know it's a little off topic, but they also had the TLNM Ninjago City Chase set about to hit the shelves, something that the local toy shop didn't have.
