  1. In the promo image, the left mini-LA doesn't seem to be connected to the boom (the ridges of the mini-LA pinholes are visible)... whereas the box shows a black 2L pin.
  2. Now I see. Thanks for your clarification. Your steering mode mechanism in the mini 42054 (and now in this Xerion) is ingenious. I spent some time to study and create such mechanisms (and still have one to build, based on a completely different principle), but I never had the idea to do it the way you did. Well done, @Ngoc Nguyen!
  3. The images seem to show different steering angle for the front axle and the rear axle. Are they really different?
  4. Hm, I cannot believe that there is a 4-4 angled beam in this 65-parts-TLG-flagship of the year 2025. If it were, the red perpendicular connector could not point exactly upwards because its axle hole were connected to the beam's axle hole via a black 2L axle (or a black 3L axle pin) - set aside the geometrical issue shown in your digital image. I'd propose another black quarter ellipse (2x3 or maybe 2x5).
  5. Six parts lying on a table are a very good start. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Please, would you be so kind to build proper sentences and use punctuation like everybody else does in this forum? Thanks a lot!
  7. The main point of this thread seemed to be to ensure that the author is the first one to provide their "information" and to get clicks from over-curious forum members (like I was). I will learn from this and avoid reading threads with boasting headlines and annoying typos.
  8. This isn't a particularly precise description of the issue, so every answer will be based on heavy (and maybe false) presumptions. Once again: I presume there is a severe misconception about the old 4L differentials - they are cog wheels whereas the newer differentials are bevel gears. Only the latter ones cause the drivetrain to stuck when they aren't orientated correctly. Images of the bottom and the interior of 8466 can be found online.
  9. http://technicopedia.com/8466.html 8466 uses the old style differentials (4 L), so their orientation does not cause the issues (if it is possible to turn them at all). So the issues have other causes. Probably, it is a good idea to consult the building instruction or to look close where there could be a mistake in the orientation of a pair of gears.
  10. Yes, this feature makes it a really outstanding MOC. Thanks for pointing this out. There are not many Lego Technic MOCs using liftarms and connectors...
  11. Thank you very much. So I'll have to find another solution...
  12. Hi there, everyone posting in this thread is an owner of 42172, so there should be someone who can answer my question... ;-) Does part 3590 (green 12 t geat with clutch) mesh with the 20 t double bevel gear? Or does the gear ring prevent it from meshing correctly? It seems to be designed to mesh with cog wheels, but since I do not own any of the new 20 t cog wheels, I'd prefer the old standard 20 t double bevel gear... Thanks in advance!
  13. On the second axle, left hand side, a 3 L liftarm ist missing... that's the reason why the blue 3L pins can't keep the 3x5 dogbone from getting pushed out of place by the spring.
  14. Great, great, great! So many synchronized motions. There is so much going on that it took me some views to realize each motion - now I got each of them (I hope). My favourite is the rotating ink disc. What is the purpose of the grey axle wihh the no. 1 connector on its top, on the left hand side of the desk? It doesn't move, and it doesn't seem to be an additional "manual" function.
  15. "The most powerful truck ever made in Lego Technic" ...? Seems more likely to be the most random record claim in Lego Technic...
  16. All of the features and functions can be presented in 51 seconds. This says everything about Technic sets in 2025.
  17. The colour scheme yellow/black reminds me a little bit of the set 8043, which was a tracked excavator with 4 PF motors and a big bucket.
  18. Eurobricks used to have a frontpage, I remember vaguely... ;-)
  19. The christmas scene is one of my favourites of your countless 42117 alternate creations. The helicopter and the tricycle are instantly recognizable and even have functions - really great!
  20. Now I see, thank you. Did not expect a black 2L axle.
  21. Is the reel able to turn in order to wind/rewind the jackhammer's hose? On the one hand, the reel seems to be fixed to the black connector; on the other hand, it looks as if connected to the mini-LA's axle...
  22. If the backhoe is built like in the digital renders, the two Mini-LAs will work counterwise and so won't operate the bucket. If it's done as shown in the video, they will.
