  1. I'm actually kind of intrigued by the TIE Fighter, I think they're way too big nowadays compared to other sets (towering over the Falcon or an X-Wing anyone?) even if it is more proportionally accurate. I wouldn't mind sacrificing some accuracy for a better size. The 4+ TIE Fighter did this, but the detail was so lacking it didn't really do much for me. It'll be interesting to see what an extra $20 and leaving the 4+ line will do for it. Interesting to see they're doing the Falcon as a microfighter again, I wonder who they'll include this time. Since they've already done Han and Chewie, I wouldn't mind Cloud City Lando... Though it could also be based on the ST (again) or Solo instead of an OT remake. I doubt they'll do Han again since I'm expecting Hoth Han to be riding the tauntaun microfighter.
  2. Welcome! Way back in 2000, they released four packs containing three minifigs each, with a few extra pieces to build bases for them. The only other time I'm aware of was the Force Awakens C-3PO polybag back in 2015, which was sold at Toys R Us.
  3. Minifigs with new head molds leaked for the Sesame Street set, I'd say the odds for the Pooh characters getting new molds with or without Disney S3 are pretty good now.
  4. A Universal Monsters series 3 months after Halloween seems like very poor timing though, so I doubt it's that.
  5. I would say that depends on what the licensed series is... Something like Disney S3 has such an extensive amount of characters to pull from that only 12 would be disappointing. Personally, I'd rather have less figures in a standard non-licensed series since you don't really "miss out" on anything since it's not based on anything in particular, so it's not like you can have any glaring omissions.
  6. Not to mention The Mandalorian only got a single set initially and the rest had to be rushed out once everyone realized how popular the show was. Either way, there's more factors at play regarding The Mandalorian vs. Snyder Cut than "it's streaming".
  7. Of course, that assumes we get Pooh characters in the CMF at all and they don't either 1. somehow repurpose existing molds or 2. break the no new molds rule.
  8. Nope, the comment is just "*removed*" and says it's been edited.
  9. I think you misunderstood the interview. The quote was "What I would also say is that the age ratings do not necessarily remain constant. Those characters might appear outside the game in future and you never know what could happen in that event.", which I interpreted as meaning that the characters might appear in something else later with a lower rating which could get Lego sets, not "we will never make those minifigs because they might appear in something with a higher rating later".
  10. The Razor Crest, I-TS Transport, Death Star Final Duel, and Advent Calendar are the only sets that mention having codes on the box, I believe. From what I can remember, the first two unlock the ships themselves, Death Star Final Duel is an early unlock for Palpatine, and the Advent Calendar is the Snow Gonk and seemingly a one-time use code for Sweater Vader.
  11. Not to mention hasn't he already stated that it's unlikely we'll see any Snyder Cut sets?
  12. Anthony Daniels will undoubtedly voice C-3PO, he's returned to voice him for almost every appearance of the character. I think you can probably count the amount of times Daniels hasn't voiced Threepio on one hand. Personally I'm joining the camp of being disappointed with blue milk Luke, Tatooine Luke is already such a common figure and all they've done is changed the face print and given him a generic milk carton. As someone who really wants this game, I can't say I'll be disappointed if I miss out on him.
  13. Gandalf was voiced by Tom Kane in Lego Dimensions, and from the trailer we know he's voicing Yoda in this game. He could be doing Qui-Gon too, but I rewatched the trailer and it doesn't sound like his Gandalf voice to me at all.
  14. I really hope so, that was the best character creator a Lego game has ever had imo. I also thought the one in TFA was pretty disappointing (no pieces from protocol droids or short minifigs, certain slots always set to be minifigs or astromechs, abilities tied solely to weapons) so a character creator even a fraction as good as DC Super Villains' would be fantastic.
  15. "I've been looking forward to this..."
  16. I wouldn't count on it, if anything they'll probably just extend the production of the current set.
  17. The set design process takes over a year, so no, they already have sets planned. If not, then Lego doesn't plan to sell any new products for the first third of an entire year, which is completely ridiculous. Calm down and be patient.
  18. I'm not usually a stickler for it, but not to mention the dual molding and extra printing potential... But yeah, probably best to keep expectations low for the time being. This is the first I've heard of it and I follow both this thread and the CMF one. I personally think it's highly unlikely that there's going to be a Star Wars CMF next year since we typically get three a year and there's already rumors for Looney Tunes and Marvel, which means if we also got Star Wars there wouldn't be a single unlicensed CMF, assuming the other rumors are true.
  19. No, they have eyes on their "head" that are very hard to see in the PT (if it's even there at all) but much more visible in TCW and Resistance. (The eyes are usually white but glow red in Resistance.)
  20. Nice to see that it looks like we're getting the Bad Batch in some form, I wonder if it'll be based on season 7 or the upcoming show. I'd be surprised if the series comes out that early to warrant January wave sets for it, but you never know.
  21. I think @LurkingEhlek explained it pretty well but I'll also add my two cents. When The Clone Wars first came out in 2008, not only was it the first time Star Wars had any screen presence since the PT wrapped up in 2005, but it didn't have to share the spotlight with anything else for its entire run. As far as sets go, aside from the occasional EU set, its only real competition was the original trilogy, with less of a need for sets specifically dedicated to the prequel trilogy since TCW used so many characters and vehicles from it anyway. Compare that with The Mandalorian, which was released in a 6-year period of time where so much Star Wars media was being released (the sequel trilogy, Rogue One, Solo, Rebels, Resistance) that despite its popularity it's far from the spotlight that Clone Wars got, and now it has to compete with all three trilogies, Clone Wars sets (since the prequel focus has mostly shifted to the movies themselves, they don't really cut it as doubling anymore), and whatever else Lego comes up with for a spot in the set lineup. tl;dr Clone Wars' initial run was during a different time in the Star Wars franchise, where it had more spotlight and less competition for sets compared to The Mandalorian.
  22. The only "rumor" for an Ahsoka vs. Maul set that I'm aware of came from Falconfan posting an image of the two on his Instagram which turned out to not mean anything.
  23. If this list is real, I'm surprised to see another firefighter so soon since we just had one in Series 19, and obviously they're very prevalent in City already.
  24. Leaks happen whenever they happen, if they even happen at all in some cases. It's far too early to panic over there not being any Marvel/DC sets next year anyway. There's no 2021 rumors for Star Wars yet either.
  25. "Army Officer Captain" I think we can already confirm this list is fake.
