    I agree, new fans seem to be a forgotten concept. I didn't start collecting Lego Star Wars until 2016 and it was a major part of bringing me out of my mini-dark ages. I see people complaining about "ugh, not character/ship again", but for me it was my first chance to pick it up. You shouldn't be up a creek without a paddle just because you got on the train too late. I see this with DC too, people complaining about recycled villains just because they got them when the line was fresh in 2012 and all the iconic characters were available at the same time.

    I'm expecting something like this from The Lego Batman Movie. It came with a cardboard cutout of some of the villains to shoot at. I hope I'm wrong though, because that would be very disappointing.

    It's not for the TPM anniversary, it's for the 20th anniversary of the Lego Star Wars line.

    Weren't they waiting to release Resistance merchandise until April? Maybe we'll see a few sets then.

    LEGO started releasing them in 2017, and they are all unique so far.

    Heh, turns out it's actually just an Ep. II Obi-Wan minifig and $19.99 worth of transparent blue studs!

    I'm hoping the Juniors sets will have normal heads instead of bringing back the molded ones.

    You'd be surprised how young some kids learn about this stuff. Their parents could be big Star Wars fans and expose them that way through toys and other merchandise. There's also the cartoons, especially Resistance which is marketed towards young kids. Heck, I knew the names of several main characters when I was 4/5 from a box of fruit snacks.

    Marvel also seems to be doing this with the 2019 Spider-Man sets.

    I'm not sure Lego would make an entire Nightmare CMF, although I wouldn't be surprised if Jack and Sally show up in series 2.

    That's true, I remember the Jedi and Clone BP from last year originally had Coleman Trebor in place of Barriss when the prelims leaked.

    I figure it's similar to the OT, where the stormtrooper helmets constantly change between movies. Even in ANH, some stormtroopers have longer "mouths" than other ones, which became the standard afterwards. My headcanon for the helmet differences is that some stormtroopers have been in service longer than others, and the helmets came from different production lines so depending on how recently you got a helmet, you get a different one. (Also a good excuse for letting the current Lego stormtroopers co-exist with the Rebels ones)

    I wouldn't hold your breath for Pru Sweevant, he was also in the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens video game in 2016.

    Actually, one of the unfinished arcs involves Yoda and the Bad Batch on Kashyyyk. Now, whether or not we'll get that one in the upcoming season is the real question.

    Brickset just posted an article about pop-up LEGO stores opening in the near future. On the first image, there's a large brick-built Captain Rex. Could this be evidence for more Clone Wars-based sets soon?

    Maui from Moana also has tattoos, and Darth Maul and Savage Opress both canonically have face tattoos.

    Concept art for the Lego Batman Movie CMFs actually had Inmate Joker using that hair, so it's definitely crossed their mind at some point. Hopefully we'll see it eventually.

    I'm sure we'll see more sets from these movies in the future, probably after the ST is finished and Lego won't have to focus on making a ton of sets for a "big" movie. We're still getting at least one set from The Clone Wars a year, and that's been cancelled for 4 years now.

    Does anyone know if Anakin has a face on the other side without a headset? I'm not really interested in the set if he doesn't.

    Nice! I like the concept of building Star Wars in a Classic Space style, have you done any others like this?

    Considering they skipped Rogue One, I think it's more likely that TLJ would get a poster than Solo messing with anything.
