  1. Not to mention that The Child was kept so under wraps that none of the merchandise companies knew about him before the episode came out. There's no way he would've been in a set at, prior to, or shortly after the show's launch.
  2. Do you know this for sure, or are you just assuming it's going to be the case? Making concrete statements like this for something that you're assuming is going to happen is how false rumors get started.
  3. No sign of it for me. According to Brickset only 57 of its members own it, compared to 1247 who want it.
  4. I'm wondering if they might put Pooh and one other character (most likely Tigger or maybe Piglet) in the next CMF, use those molds for the Ideas set, and then cut the rest of the characters.
  5. Yet even UCS sets often come with 4 minifigs or less and stickers.
  6. I plan on repurposing Gru too, I just hope he doesn't have a face on both sides of his head.
  7. Yes, and Joker also reused his TLBM hair in a Mighty Micros set.
  8. Looks like an interesting wave, the Mobile Bat Base sounds pretty cool. Good to see the Penguin again, I do like the TLBM design but it'll be nice to hopefully have a normal version.
  9. Wait, we're getting another set with Spider-Man and Venom already? Is Venomized Iron Man in the set? I thought he was going to be a GWP.
  10. I managed to get both just by finding the power ring and battery and hoping for the best. I think you lucked out finding Simon first, since he's the harder one to find in my opinion. The key is finding Sinestro's hair which is the only unique piece he has compared to Simon, and it's a lot easier to find a piece that is there than trying to confirm one isn't there. If you're having a hard time identifying the piece itself, take a closer look at one in your collection if you have it to get a better feel for it.
  11. Yeah, I agree. Aside from being creepy and weird, it doesn't really feel like it fits Maul's character. It was definitely a downgrade from the face they used for the Maul polybag from 2012 (still better than the hideous Clone Wars head though *shudder*). I did notice the new head looks a bit aged to match his appearance in Solo though, so maybe it would be better to make a new faceprint for TPM/TCW Maul. It could be used for Rebels Maul too, although I doubt Lego's going back to it anytime soon unfortunately.
  12. The figure is definitely Maul from Solo, they were talking about reusing the face if and when Maul appears in season 7 sets.
  13. Well, uh... the builds aren't really that great on most of them, but I mostly just wanted the figures anyway. Wasn't planning on getting the Venom set, but it actually looks pretty good so I might get it after all. Kind of disappointed with Doc Ock, although are those new "web cuffs" on his hands? The Thanos Mech looks pretty cool too. Hopefully the official reveal is soon so we can get a clearer look.
  14. I'm sure we'll see them eventually, but the design process usually takes a while. If I had to guess, we'll start seeing X-Men/Fantastic Four in 2021.
  15. Do you know something we don't? DC and Marvel switch their releases every year, and we already know Marvel's getting the January wave this year.
  16. Whoops, I goofed. Getting hard to keep track of all this stuff, sorry.
  17. I wouldn't worry just yet, as far as I know the only minifig-based sets that have been confirmed for the April wave are the Mustafar Duel and a battle pack related to The Mandalorian in some way.
  18. It's a reference to Revenge of the Sith, where Palpatine says "I am the Senate" after Mace comes to arrest him. It's become one of the many memes spawned by the prequels.
  19. Joker looks great, and I'm glad they used Bat-Mite's Lego Batman 3 design instead of abandoning it and doing something else, like what has happened to so many other video game designs of characters before. Definitely getting them both.
  20. I find it funny that you can't deal with the idea that some people don't like the comic design of AIM scientists, yet you've been ranting about how much you hate the game design since the minifigure was leaked. The implication that you can't enjoy Marvel at all if you don't like the comic AIM scientist design is a nice touch. Personally I don't care for the new AIM minifig, I prefer the comic design, but I can at least respect the fact that the design was based on and is accurate to specific source material. It's not for me, so I move on. If you haven't noticed, this wave is heavily based on the video game and Lego's not going to throw in some comic AIM scientists just because one of the designers decided they don't like the game design. Lego can only use what Marvel gives them to work with. If you want to be mad at Lego, it's the molds, printing, and dual molding that they work with, not the initial design of the character.
  21. Thor looks nice, though I hope someday we'll get him with a helmet/hair combo. I can't be the only one who thinks Cap's helmet looks weird on a flesh head, right?
  22. Hear hear! I want that cake stealing fiend.
  23. Unless it's been leaked, there's no confirmation that Wedge will be in IX. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
  24. Old Luke's hair would be perfect for RotS Anakin. I hope they make it at some point.
  25. Weird that these upcoming Spider-Man sets seem so redundant, although I haven't picked up any in a while so I'm not particularly fussed about it. Hopefully the Doc Ock and Vulture sets are good, I'm missing the latter and all I have for the former is the Spider-Man 2 fusion lab version. Thanos looks good, the helmet choice is definitely odd though.
