In a german LEGO Star Wars forum a few members said that Vader only costs 4,99€ and is available at the cashpoint of EVERY TRU in Germany and Austria. Actually, they are meant to be a gift at every full 25 Euros a customer spends on LEGO Star Wars sets but it seems nobody cares about it.

This set is out of production since 2006 and costs 200$ at the moment. Preliminary designs. It happens often that they change details, but I never heard of a change in the box design. Can somebody explain why they had to make the Falcon a TCW set? I am not confident to see him in the next season.

Lego Indy: a further six set release
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to legoindy01's topic in LEGO Licensed
You are throwing the Jedinews LEGO-Indy news together. In the first news, they spoke from the two spring sets "Shanghai Chase" and "Flying wing" and 5 more sets in summer. Later they released an article with 4 summer set, which were: Graveyard (from KOTCS) Venice Chase (from TLC) Air Battle (from TLC) The Temple of Doom (from TOD) And the missing set is the Cairo marketplace. I don´t believe in further Indy sets this year, except for the 5 we know and a set based on the game could be possible in spring 2010. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was supposed to come out in summer 2007 and they released the Rogue Shadow in Spring 2008, half a year after release of the game. Maybe it will be the same schedule with the Indy game. -
In the Toy Fair galleries on Flickr they seem to be just this neck piece with stud at the back plus an 1x1 plate in dark green. The STAP from 7654 is Canon. The rest was just inspiered by other SW vehicles.

Finally we get individual soldiers in one set! I hope they will do the new Battlepacks with the Endor theme. This soldiers are just wonderful! (Especially the "Darth Vaders apprentice"-one.) Oh, I´ve got a nice dream of Endor Battlepacks: Rebel Pack: 2 Endor Rebels, 2 Ewoks, catapult Imperial Pack: 2 Scouttrooper, 2 Navy Trooper/Officers, Speederbike or crappy Tandem-bike

Huge Price Increase for Pick A Brick Items!
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to Eurospanol25's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I will email them, too. I was going to order a few policemen for 1,02 Euro for each and now one of them costs nearly as much as the stupid Impulse set. Even Ebay is cheaper (1 Euro for a complete figure with megaphone). The new pieces are excellent, but I am not going to pay 35 cents instead of 17 for a hat! If the prices don´t change I will probably have to create a bricklink account. -
The Defoliator is the prototype of an incendiary bombs-shooting tank, that kills every lifeform (creatures, plants, trees, etc.) and leaves machinery intact. The tank was first testes by it´s builder, Lok Durd. Durd lead the Defoliator and a little army of seperatist droids on Maridun, where he wanted to test the tank on living creatures, the pacifistic Lurmen. The tank was destroyed by Anakin Skywalker who also captured Lok Durd who now lives in a republic prison. Pieces: 401 Minifigs: Lok Durd (with modified knight´s armour as hat) and battle droid And a few more pictures in the BS gallery, when public, http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=372629 .

Well, most people already talked about how they think about the sets and because now nothing else is to discuss, the trivial things are the topic. And to take part at the Commando head discussion: They will probably be plain black. And to lead to another topic: Do you think that there will be more magnetsets this year? I bet that they will do a set with Palpatine, a Commando and maybe a clone pilot. Then I won´t have to buy the whole stupid cruiser for Palpy.^^

Well, this has partly to do with the creators of The Clone Wars wich wanted the clones to be more individual, so that Non-Star Wars Geeks who know the codenumber of every trooper can be worried about their favourite clones. In the comics clones were mainly the popular cannonfodder, like Stormtroopers, so markings wouldn´t be neccesary. In episode 3 George put a bajillion of different clones in the movie because he wanted to show that the empire stole the colour of the army (another example is the fleet of grey V-Wing fighters and Venators at the end of the movie) and maybe the commercial part, too. For my part, I´m not annoyed because of the endless variations and legions, no, I am annoyed because LEGO produced mainly stupid clones. We´ve got the 327th Starcorp, Shocktroopers, 41st Elite in camouflage uniform, the company from Saleucami and Clones with the markings of the 501st legion but in green. So, which of this groups is worthy to buy an army of? Maybe the 41Elite and the 327th Star Corp but all the other troopers are too unpopular or were never seen on screen. Why didn´t they do orange Attack Battalion troops or a set with the 501st Legion? I don´t need 15 Shocktroopers, at most 3 or 4! And to do a bit of a spoiler. Plain troopers are used quite often in the show. The 501st legion had some (under the command of blue striped Clone Sergeants and the slightly darker blue Captain Rex), the clones of an unknown group from episode 5 had no markings except for a few clones with dark red bioniculars, a part of the 212th Attack Battalion from Obi-Wan had no markings (rest of the troops has orange stripes on helmet and arms) and the 327th Star Corp had no markings except for Bly. Not everything is lost for the first phase.

A friendly toy salesman told me that the 7553 Pirate Tank will be delivered in the first week of September. It´s an "Idee und Spiel" exclusive Set and costs 39.99€. This information is just for Germany, whose exclusive it is in other countries is still unknown.

Wether blue is cheaper than grey, or they just don´t want to. But it is a strange phenomenon that LEGO puts often blue pins in such bad places where they look too odd.

Yes, my Ahsoka from Ahsokas Starfighter has smaller eyes. I scanned the figures. Ahsoka with white trousers has smaller eyes, with grey bigger eyes. Also AT-TE Ahsokas belt clip is orange, the new one is gold.

This reminds me on a poll from starwars.com where you could choose a new UCS set. Candidates were R2-D2, Vulture Droid, Medic Droid (from the end of ROTS) and the walking AT-AT. Well, I personally would love a continuation of the UCS line, but with less children-aimed sets like Walking AT-AT who has a terrible design and is just interessant because of the walking function. I hope that LEGO comes to the fantastic idea to release a real UCS AT-AT in the correct minifigure scale like the Falcon.

The LAAT/C AT-OT set is already on S@H but not able to be ordered. http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...n=245&d=100 I already bookmarked the link and will order it as fast as I can. Sadly I have to displace a few other sets from my "to-buy list" to afford the money. Bye bye Orc Castle... Hello LAAT/C!!!
-
Hey, I am remembering at this guy on bricklink who said he had a Pirate tank for 300 bucks. Does anyone know what did happen with him?
-
Compared to the prices for australian sets on S@H I estimate... 7195 Ambush in Cairo 20Aus$ 7197 Venice Chase 80Aus$ 7198 Plane Attack 100Aus$ 7199 Temple of Doom a little less than 150Aus$ And the US prices: 7195 Ambush in Cairo 10$ 7197 Venice Chase 40$ 7198 Plane Attack 50$ 7199 Temple of Doom around 80$
-
You can´t convert the prices, you must compare them with sets of the same price on S@H, but I have done that already so the prices may be... Droid tank/Echo Base 19.99$ Sep. shuttle 29.99$ Y-Wing 59.99$ Endor Playset 89.99$ to 99.99$ P.S. The Venator is a Galeria Kaufhof exclusive in Germany for sure.

With the reflecting light from the blaster it´s just missing the Order 66 music from ROTS.^^ I hope you find more unique ways to kill her...
-
The magnetsets will only be available in LEGO Stores and S@H. The only SW magnets available are Dooku and Vader, the others will follow in a week or more, I guess. I find the prices more than fair. 9,99€ for one set makes 3,33€ for one figure with weapon AND magnetbrick. I ordered the Dooku set a few hours ago with a PM set. Best deal of all time. I just need another magnetset with the TCW Palpatine, Anakin and Jetpack Clone.^^

Could you post instruction pics, too? That official Buzz Droids look like crap against this perfect version.
-
The shirt will be new, but in this Prelim-Pic it´s the one from Satipo, his copanion from 7623 temple raid. The sets looks with this colorful figures a little odd. Especially because the sword guy. He looks like Castle 2007 evil wizard legs, Star Wars TIE Pilot torso, Ugha warrior head and an orc sword. It would have been easier to just take the emperor with the indian sword from Orient Expedition, a turban and some frown head. More weird is Marion on the top in the figure list but nowhere in the boxart.

REVIEW: 8015 Assassin Droids Battle Pack
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A very good review for such a small set. I am going to buy just one of it because of the droids and the silver parts. Having an army of Assassin Droids seems to be a very useless because they normally work for criminals and smugglers. But I have to correct you: The Assassin Droids in the BP represent the IG-86 droids that worked in The Clone Wars for Ziro the Hutt and that smuggler alien from Episode 6, Downfall of a droid. The LEGO figure is also identical to IG-88 from 6209 Slave One, except for the stiff arm. The Commando Droids from Rookies are dark grey/brown and have normal Battledroid heads with a shorter mouth. -
What would make that in Euro?^^ Yes, but I thought that the set doesn´t include Rebels, I thought they would be spared for a first appearance BPs of 2010. Anyway: I couldn´t spot a Navy Trooper. Did anybody else saw him? Well, I´m not very confident that they throw a complete new minifig in in the last minute.

Looks like 22 pieces for me.^^ I watched the gallery of the guy, this picture is from and it looks like he likes to photoshop pictures... and Bionicle... and Gladitorian... http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....m=greenserpant4 I am looking forward to that Cairo set, if it´s like the description before. The other sets sound a bit costly. When you compare the prices from Kiddiwinks it looks like the Venice set is 55€. I wonder what they could put in there except for two or three boats and a few figures.
