  1. Can't wait to get a Nazi Mads Mikkelsen minifigure. Damn, I am really anticipating all of those sets.
  2. Milano, Benatar, and Bowie. Wonder what will happen with Benatar tho, and how different Bowie will look.
  3. Yeah, you're right. Checked Promobricks again, and that was just their speculation. I do hope it's true tho.
  4. LMAO imagine if it's just Indiana Jones or Indy, like the logos we've seen (But yeah, it's definitely gonna be a subtitle.)
  5. You forgot: 71788 [Lloyd's Ninja Motorbike] - 9.99 EUR 71800 [Nya's Water Dragon EVO] - 19.99 EUR Also, the gimmick sets are 10€ each, and they are for Nya, Cole, and Zane (respectively).
  6. I see we're ranking Batmans for some reason, so here we go: 1. Battinson — that's my Batman. An edgy boy still not over the death of his parents, who's desperately looking for meaningful connections with other people, even if he'll never admit it. He makes a handful of mistakes, and he's extremely imperfect, which makes him much more relatable. 2. Batffleck — although I dislike the movies he's in, Affleck's Batman is pretty great. He's an absolute beast, and I like the motive of a broken Batman starting to rebuild his hopes. Could've been much better if they actually acknowledged he's a murderer out of line. Snyder making him work with GCPD was ridiculous. 3. Kilman — a really underrated adaptation, although Schumacher intended to make him even better. I really like Batman Forever, and I think he works really well. 4. Baleman — really liked him in Batman Begins and the beginning of TDKR, but not at all elsewhere. Nolan was awfully uninterested in him as a character, making him a bland tool without a character arc to move the more interesting pieces (to him) forward. 5. Keatonman — he had his moments, but I genuinely can't recall much about him (even tho I've seen the movies this year). I'm not a fan of Burton's movies either tho, so that may be why. 6. Clowney — same as Keaton, although I can't even recall any 'moments' Haven't seen West's movie or series, so I can't say anything about him really, but I'd probably love him, because I'm all for over-the-top ridiculous stuff. Of course if we're including animated the ranking changes, and LEGO Batman is at the top. I desperately need to see The Animated Series too.
  7. Ninja distribution in this wave: Nya — 4 Jay and Kai — 3 Lloyd — 2 Zane and Cole — 1 Looks like they finally didn't sideline Nya
  8. Yeah, I'm also all for Luthen's ship. It looks fantastic, and feels surprisingly unique, mainly to the wat it's been shown in the series. I also wouldn't say no to another Quadjumper
  9. No. The weapons had to be designed a long time ago, and they announced the D&D set just a few weeks back. No to mention that all the ideas haven't been submitted yet, nor have they been chosen. They don't even know what the final set is going to look like, and if it's actually going to have minifigures at all.
  10. There's also the 4+ Lloyd set.
  11. It's a fantastic wave imo. So many wild and unique builds. Kai's Race Car is cool, looks good enough. No interesting minifigures tho. Mech Battle looks surprisingly fantastic. I love both mechs. New Core ninja Variant is also great to see, might actually have to buy that one. Earth Dragon is also incredible. I love everything about it, and especially the head. Unlike anything we've seen in Ninjago. Possibly my favourite set from this wave. Mech Rider is wild, so unique. I love it. Really awesome set. Jay's Jet is the weakest set unfortunately. The back is great, but the cockpit doesn't do it for me. Did they change Core Jay's colour to regular yellow tho? Definitely looks like it in this picture. Jay's Titan Mech is even wilder than the Mech Rider, and it's just as awesome. I mean, wow. The two giant cannons, the circle stricture in the cockpit, the ridiculously humongous sword, the red lantern weapons. Ninja Brick Box is great too. The temple builds are really well done. Wonder who the two white characters are tho.
  12. There's a lot to love about this set, although some things don't work at all. Minifigures are good, but why doesn't Zane have a blue katana? Really great to see a new villain faction. They are weird mash-ups, I wish they were more consistent tho. Bone King looks awesome, but the other two have too much going on imo. The dragon looks good. Really bulky, but it pulls it off really well. Colour scheme is fantastic. The head is not tho — the lower jaw is way too bulky, looks out of place with the upper part. Can't wait to see the other sets.
  13. I love the sound of that. Great to hear that we're getting new enemies, and they're more unique than most Ninjago villains it seems. The sets sound really good, and I like the variety. And OH YES, FINALLY A NYA SET! My prayers have been answered. And her Core variant is also coming in an activity book. So fantastic to see she's not being pushed aside this year too. Definitely will buy that one, and maybe more. I surprisingly really love Core as a subtheme.
  14. Can't wait to see all the new sets
  15. Animated. I'd honestly take it. Shorter episodes to cover the whole book, without cutting all the edges like the movies. It wouldn't compete with the movies, it could be just a completely different way for audience to experience it.
  16. Prediction: no. If they wanted to celebrate the anniversary, we would've gotten sets this year.
  17. Yeah, same. The set is really great, but it has a few weak parts — like the Andor minifigure (the face and hair combo looks nothing like Diego Luna), or the fact that the pod has two separate compartments, which really should be just one. Not to mention the price, which is horrible. It should be 60€ at most, and that's even stretching it. Saying all that, the series is so good that I just had to buy it. That's quite possibly the first time something like that has happened to me — liking a project so much that I just had to go back and snatch a LEGO set based on it. (I always buy LEGO sets for upcoming projects the day they release, I never wait.)
  18. Wasn't a huge fan of the first wave. The long legs didn't work for me, the creatures were clunky. The terrain builds were fantastic tho, and I would've bought a small set — if there was one. And while I still don't like the long legs at all, the new sets are pretty fantastic. The minfigures are much better this time — two new leg sizes, plus a new skin colour (I love this one). The diversity is very nice, I love that there are no repeats at all. The terrain builds are yet again fantastic. I love how they allow to display the other builds and minifigures, making the set look twice as impressive. I like the other builds much more this time. They are all pretty fantastic — except for the Skimwing. The body looks too clunky and segmented, and the underside looks awful without any smooth pieces. It's nice to see that there are some cheaper sets this time. The prices for all of those sets are either bad, or straight-up awful. I'll buy the smallest set, it's like it was made for me — cheap, displayabale, lovely terrain, a fantastic creature, and Na'vi with two different skin tones and leg sizes, but without the long ones.
  19. Oh boy, I need more Andor sets right now. Found 75338 at a 20% discount today (which isn't easy, since it's LEGO exclusive, at least in Europe), and I decided to buy. Can't wait to get it. This series is too good, it's already my favourite Star Wars content, and quite possibly from Disney as a whole (except maybe two or three Pixar movies). It would be such a missed opportunity if we didn't get anything more. Maybe a set from the heist arc, seeing as the prison isn't a particularly good material.
  20. I think it's for Ninjago, but even if it's not, I still hope we will get a different villain faction in the next Core wave. I surprisingly really like this subtheme, and I can't wait for the next wave. But if they'll keep giving us orange snakes and the same suits every year, I'm out.
  21. Yet again — if making a LEGO set took a few weeks, we would've had No Way Home sets by now. It had to be planned at least a year before The Book of Boba Fett premiered.
  22. No. Look at No Way Home — ten months and still nothing, even tho they sure as hell are working hard on those sets. (I assume, it could be that they just decided to ignore the movie altogether ) The Razor Crest was definitely planned before, they couldn't make a set from scratch in just a few months. Not to mention that if they wanted to make sets for Black Adam, they would've done it.
  23. Not the new ninja. Come on, they've just been plot devices for the final season. They are stereotypical, generic, any crime that's bigger than a street-level one And introducing a whole new team of random ninjas is not the way to go with the continuation.
  24. Imo it's the best Disney+ project period, and I feel like it will stay that way for a long time. This (and Werewolf by Night too) feels like the only time Disney actually gave full creative freedom to the creators, and let them do their job instead of shoving more cameos. The level of writing is above anything Disney has done recently.
  25. It's okay to criticise someone's work — so long as you don't attack the person behind it, and preferably do it in a constructive way. (Well, unless they are terrible human beings or whatever, but this is not the case.) I absolutely hate that set. The build is awful, totally out of proportions, it looks ridiculous in most parts (especially the helmet and the chest). A single boring minifigure is not enough for a 550€ set. Like seriously, this has to be the most unnecessary Iron Man variant, right? And, well, the fact that it's actually 550€. I mean... why? Feels like 400€ at most.
