I feel like a CMF series for Star Wars would have to be based on something very specific - video games, Legends, Disney+ etc. to work at all.

Also, it feels like Lego has covered not only every Star Wars character, but every variant of them too. A CMF for Star Wars would just feel very repetitive, unless they went the Disney+ route.

Well to be fair DC doesn't have an equivalent to MCU's The Infinity Saga. No one would care about more Snyder sets, and other movies would just feel too random and out of place. So they did more Batman. As always

The chances of this happening are equal to Lego finally making DC as a theme good again - nonexistent.

Paul Seeley already confirmed that it's not happening right now, and definitely not in January 2022. Not to mention that Lego actually makes sets for Star Wars Disney+ series, unlike Marvel - The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch and The Clone Wars all have had sets recently.

I understand, but what are spoiler tags for then? They are literally there so people who don't want to read something don't need to read it. It's not like there's a huge red sign pointing at it and saying "read me". I won't discuss this leak anymore, but we were discussing it in terms of which sets might be worth getting. Surely if people knew that none of the builds from Endgame sets would appear in the movie (or only for a few seconds), they wouldn't buy some of those sets. Same goes for Quantum suits. Looks like someone needs to read it again... description of an important plot development. What did I describe? What plot element do you know? No, you know one person's opinon on a leaked plot. The person next to me might say that the plot sounds amazing. What would you do then?

Never ever would I have thought that someone considers a sentence "the plot sounds weak" a spoiler. That's just... a random person's opinion on a leaked plot is a spoiler... even though another perosn might say it's amazing... I think we need to remind everyone what spoiler actually means. spoiler /ˈspɔɪlə/ noun a description of an important plot development in a television show, film, or book which if previously known may reduce surprise or suspense for a first-time viewer or reader It kinda is tho, as we've discussed plot leaks various times in context of the sets (using spoiler tags), and there didn't seem to be a problem in that until now

Well the thing is, we were not discussing the plot itself - we were discussing the inclusion of a certain character and a certain build in a set based on the plot leak, so that counts as set discussion, not movie discussion.

We were discussing plot elements in terms of inclusion of certain things in 2021 LEGO MARVEL SETS. Jesus, no spoilers (not even slight) were revealed, there were spoiler tags. Also, "the plot itself sounded weak" which isn't spoiler tagged but is still somewhat revealing. I- I can't. Some people are just beyond human understanding.

I think those 2 Tumblers we're getting might exist for that very reason... maybe even the 66 Batmobile.

Because we are discussing sets based on movies... Yeah I don't necessarily think the plot itself sounded weak, it might have been just the way it was written by that person. If we got a detailed description I might have thought it was amazing. But as you've said, it all comes down to execution, and I truly believe in Chloe Zhao.

Spoiler tags exist for a reason. He put it in spoiler tags, so I don't see what problem you've got. And he's actually talking about the sets, and some weird choices they might have made.

I dunno about that, I think it's worth it just to get sets for The Batman and its sequels.

It's written by Chloe Zhao, and her movie just won Best Picture and Best Director, so you shouldn't be too worried about dialogues I think. I agree that this plot leak sounded so weak, but I hope it's just on paper. I'm not too worried by it tbh. I hope they really give us a NWH trailer on Holland's birthday in 8 days, that would be so perfect...

I mean as far as we know it's just 1 Stygimoloch, 1 Carnotaurus and 1 Baryonyx. The rest is just pure speculation, and other random dinos could pop up in some sets.

Great catch! I want to see them in their full glory tho. I wouldn't count on it... there are rumours that we might just see him looking at his suit in a post-credit scene. Sure... Seriously tho, it definitely will be one of MCU's highest rated movies - if not the highest. The Batman would like a word with you...

And we still haven't seen how Deviants look in the movie I'm glad this movie got such amazing sets tho.
