  1. I think so. August sets usually leak pretty early compared to June sets, even a month earlier. I think we'll start getting some leaks in coming weeks tbh.
  2. You're right, didn't notice that part. My bad. I dunno, it's curious if it's delayed in Germany. In my country (Poland, just next to Germany), I could already buy that set in a local shop, and others have it listed as June 1st release.
  3. No one knows. If this year proved anything, it's that Lego can hold leaks much longer than we've thought. It's just 2 months until New Asgard and Sanctuary II, and August sets usually leak sooner so I think we can expect something pretty soon. Advent Calendars, if I remember correctly leak or are revealed some time before they release, but it's hard to say. CMF will probably be found in a store and start leaking, but we don't know if it's an August or September set.
  4. There would be no higher budget if there weren't any anniversary minfigures, so I really don't see your point...
  5. Exactly, that's why I don't really understand the argument "I don't want anniversary minfigs because other minfigs will be worse". We've had 3 anniversary waves, and has any of them had a noticable dip in quality? Not really, no.
  6. I wonder if anniversary waves (SW, Ninjago, HP) got higher budgets, or were they supposed to stay the same? Either way, I think it's pretty safe to assume they'll waste it on "special" minifigures.
  7. You know what, after a second thought, I wouldn't like the T. Rex fossil to be a JP set. The reason is, we all know what it would look like in terms of dinosuarus and minfigures - it would just be the Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase all over again, with one raptor and our 4 main characters.
  8. There's this guy (mando_lego_customs) doing The Infinity Saga waves wishlists on IG. It's really nice, you should check it out. What I wanted to tell you was one particular idea I loved - what if next year (for the 10th anniversary), instead of golden minfigures, we got Vibranium minfigures? That's such a cool concept
  9. Oh, I don't think so. https://www.lego.com/de-de/product/hogwarts-chamber-of-secrets-76389 What I see is June 1st
  10. T. Rex Fossil. It's the only set that's not terribly overpriced, the build sounds like it could be unique, and the name itself gives me hope that it's either JP or CC based.
  11. It's not. It's already available in a store near me, and other have them listed as June 1st (I live in Europe). That was just a rumour that came out of nowhere - it's not delayed.
  12. Because Lego made this weird choice for reasons unknown. They also gave her two smirks, wrong colour of eyebrows, brown hair instead of ginger and no cloth piece. I think they just decided to ruin this minfigure on purpose
  13. We don't actually know the release date (could be October tho, but it also could be not). Well it's simple. We knew the name "Hogwarts Icons Collection", and we knew that it would have something to do with buildable objects. It was pretty easy to speculate how it would look like, but it was just speculation. Now we actually know that this will be a pack of random (or maybe not?) buildable objects. Nothing big, maybe I exaggerated it a little bit. It's just good to hear what set it will be similar to.
  14. Why would they do that? Why would they drop a sequel for DC's highest grossing movie? Why would they drop a sequel to one of DC's biggest recent critical and financial successes? Why would they drop The Rock's (one of the most popular actors working today) project that has obviously so hyped about? And why would they drop DC's chance to finally officially introduce Multiverse on the silver screen, showing audience how this universe will work from now on? You know that not everything has to be like MCU with one shared universe? DC has a much different approach now.
  15. Well that's a fair argument honestly. But on the other hand, superheroes are a different kind of thing. Children don't really care how they are named - they just play with them because they are colourful and have superpowers. A series of random Star Wars aliens sounds kinda weaker, wouldn't you say? Also, each one of those characters has it's own movie, series, or a comicbook run. They are standalone characters. Most of the "characters" the person who I replied to were probably supporting characters in a few The Clone Wars episodes.
  16. That's kinda understandable, but wouldn't it be easier for you to just Bricklink some of the minifigs you want instead of spending $300 once again?
  17. For the confirmation part, of course it's still a rumour. I meant confirmation in context if leak community (if that makes sense to you). More in terms of not just knowing a set name, but someone giving us a vague idea of what the set itself will look like. As for the comparison, I think me and you interpreted it much differently. Of course a $250 D2C set won't look like a $50 Friends set, that is pretty obvious. You're interpreting it too seriously, KA1 didn't mean that the builds will be the same KA1 also wasn't obviously talking about the scale, as again, this set is 5 times bigger. The only confirmation we were given was that this det will include multiple buildable objects, just like the Friends set. Sizes? Quantity? Unknown.
  18. Yes of course, a D2C will definitely be much more complex than that set.
  19. That this set will look like 41346 from Lego Friends.
  20. Out of all those characters I recognise only 2 Just because they have names doesn't mean they deserve minfigures. No one (except for maybe some hardcore SW fans) has thought "oh boy, what a shame we haven't got a minfigure of Wat Tambor yet". The point is, these aren't candidates for the CMF series.
  21. Well at least arts are few-in-1 type of sets, with a function to combine a few of them into one. But what do you need 2 of the same builds for, isn't one enough? Of course I'm kidding, whatever people like I guess.
  22. Their plan was doomed from the start - they thought they could make a universe based on a single director's vision. Not only was it terrible, but it also didn't work financially at all. That's why I'm excited for the future, it just seems so diverse and unique, you've got nearly everything. As for the sets, 2022 will be a pretty good indication - they have 4 movies to cover. The Batman is getting sets. The Flash just screams to give it sets, and so does The Rock's Black Adam and a sequel to DC's highest grossing movie. Will they do anything besides Batman? We'll see.
  23. That's why I said characters, I don't mean every random alien that appears for 0.008 seconds.
  24. Exactly, I mean how do people just decide "well I'm going to buy 2 same sets for $600".
