  1. I love it. The colour scheme is SOOOOO GARC! And the colour blocking you used is really effective. Very attractive little ship! and the Engines are just Pretty great build, no major complaints from me One thing you could consider doing is adding a bit more greeble to the engines, from the back view, there is space between the 2x2 round engines and the plate. maybe throw some 1x1 trans round or something in there, just to add a bit more to this awesome moc
  2. DkBley is totally my thing :) It's too bad you didn't continue with these, they look pretty rad. The top left on has a lot of really nice little bits Thought it feels a bit unfinished at parts, a few of those studs are begged to be covered ... Oh and the black canopy is a bit hard to see ... maybe try a different colour if you're going to use DkBley
  3. One hell of a speech writer - and also an Ambassador - Someone who thought they were extremely clever noticed that I'm the LEGO Ambassador for ToroLUG! - and inadvertently removed some of my privileges/sekret forum accesses (or I was demoted)
  4. Someone on Flickr noticed I forgot the three pipes in the retro batmobile, so I did a quick change... BAT-GARC V2.0 by Si-MOCs, on Flickr Hey Pumpkin Pie, here's a shot of the inside, I don't do very good interiors, usually, and this is no exception: BAT-GARC V2.0 by Si-MOCs, on Flickr Thanks for all the nice comments guys!
  5. Retro BAT-GARC by Si-MOCs, on Flickr After the BAT-GARC was destroyed at Persei Eight Grand Prix, Team Gotham had to resort to their backup retro BAT-GARC, a raceship from the 2260s. And any GARCisn't complete with the obligatory SWOOSH: Retro BAT-GARC - SWOOSH by Si-MOCs, on Flickr Retro BAT-GARC by Si-MOCs, on Flickr Retro BAT-GARC by Si-MOCs, on Flickr
  6. Thanks Rufus! These are absolutely awesome I love the shaping in the amrour and the posibility is top notch! The base is really cool too, but I can see the red snap hinge pieces
  7. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, you two are by far the most creative LEGO builders. Ever. This is just another example of innovation.
  8. Really nice, I love the offest angles on the wings. and you solve the 'roof' problem really well, that extra greeble works wonders. Needs a few sponsorship stickers though

    F-1000

This can't be a GARC. There's no SWOOOSH picture! -- The engines are swanky, do they rotate? (they sorta look like they do) I really like how you have that durby race feel to it, while making it spacey You totally should do more Sci-Fi, this is a home run in my opinion. You really captured the 'feel' for GARC - a lot better than mine Though why is the windshield so 'murky' ? It's a bit hard to see the racers
  10. AC is awesome! Great to see some love for it still. I'm a sucker for building from only set pieces, and I think you did a really good job building something that doesn't look like it's lacking in pieces.
  11. Wow that's too cool! I saw someone from MichLUG do this in the summer (based off your design I believe) it was really cool. I would definitely love to try this at some point...
  12. Hey Cocozero, That's a pretty great start you got there! I like how you added layers onto the baseplate. And the buildings are nice. Though for the side walk you have a certain sections that are really crumbly and some that are fine, maybe try to spread it out more so it's uniformly broken? The telephone pools are also really cool. Using the raised baseplate is also a good idea, but I think you need to cover it up a bit better, the side seems a bit off for me, maybe use some smaller slopes instead of the big 4 long ones?
  13. Wow! I thought your castle looked good before, but that second photo editing just brings out all the awesomeness of your build! Fantastic job!
  14. I saw this earlier on flickr, really nice work. I love the heavy feel to this dropship, you can totally see how it could take a beating in battle. Does the cockpit open up? And I really like the top area with the light blue trans rounds... Though with a name like bumblebee, I expected it would have more Yellow

    Life on Mars

haha it took me a second to realize what you meant by minifig massacre The little rovers are fantastic, but it's the photography that really catches me. Really excellent posing and composition! Also welcome to EB!
  16. oh Dr! That's awesome, I really like the shaping you have started there. Those front prongs wrapped with the white clips are very aesthetically pleasing. Where you put the cockpit is nice... Though have you considered rotating the sides? maybe 30 degress or so? It might be just something interesting to try. Especially since it's not anchored in yet. Also don't forget put some greebling on the inside of the prongs!
  17. One hell of a speech writer - My MOC won the prestigious SW Xmas Raffle - I of course had a thank you speech all ready to go... - by Erdbeereis
  18. I tried really hard this year! My first ever contest win at EB! Gosh, so many people to thank! Copmike - Thanks for having the contest! And thanks to Sinner's AI for thinking my MOC was worthy. You rule! And I suppose SInner too for programming it to let me win. Oh don't forget the academy! Thank you! Mom and dad, we did it! My Local LUG for all their support and let's not forget EB - You rule! Shout out to my boyz in Sci-Fi!we drool! and TLG for making me broke! and Bricklink for making me broker! OH there goes the red light... Thanks all!
  19. I would avoid anything you can get on the PAB wall. While it might be slightly more expensive than ordering through the bulk order, it's at least a piece you can get in large quantities. To me, I would recommend choosing something you need or can always need in huge quantities. Sure you might be able to get say a 1x2 light bley brick for 3 cents on bricklink - but maybe only 20 of them. This might be your chance to get 5000 of them :P Personally I would recommend small pieces that are useful in large quantities... like small plate, tile, or specialty pieces like headlight or snot bricks.
  20. Who the heck is "Sci-MOCs" ? sounds like a pretty shady fellow to me.
  21. Guild of Historica prize packs! by Si-MOCs, on Flickr Prize packs should be going out in a day or two!
  22. Great job ADUifying Mark's Mech I'd write some more praise, but I'm too busy laughing at that last picture
  23. Wow. Excellent job! I think you've nailed this. The entire layout is fantastic. Which is something you should be proud of! Not many people can build their own Layout, let alone build one this nice The details are lovely, I impressed how you just didn't fill in the flood area, but you actually added a lot of details in there. My only beef is the bottom right part in the basement - It's slightly distracting to have a white side, but then the cave starts off in darkbley... (minor nitpick, I assume you ran out of brick ) Great job
  24. I must say these look badass! I really liked the way you designed the base to swivel the stand! Wait, are these made from 'available' bricks? There's a 1x2 dark bley 'gold ingot' you used in a few spots - is that now available?!? (Sorry if that's a stupid question, I don't use LDD much)
  25. Fantastic. The roof is so nicely done. I love the slightly dilapidated fell you were able to create. And I've always love your knack for 'random debris' that looks really good. The suit itself is great, The reverse minfig is brilliant! Only thing that you're missing is a story! Who is this guy? what's going on!?
