Welcome to Ameribricks.com - Major Changes Coming!
Scorpiox replied to Shadows's topic in Forum Information and Help
I, for one, whole-heartedly support the change; thanks to Ameribricks, my toaster has been running at 4x capacity! God bless Ameribricks! YEEEEHAAAAWWWWW! -
Yeah, I'll see if I can recount it: Haldor's interactions with Alexis: Quest #12, Quest #38, Quest #49, Quest #58. With Cronk: Quest #38, Quest #49, Quest #58. I think that's all.
-
Folks got re-snarked back too, which makes me very happy.
-
Haldor raised an eyebrow, and turned his head to Atramor. "So, who was it who wasted an essence on this cad? I can think of many people we ought to have saved it for."
-
That'll mix things up a little. On the recent events in the hall: Haldor can't help but get involved, he's that kind of a man.
-
Haldor nudged his friend. "Don't think she means you mate, I guess she's just a little confused." The nord couldn't help but interupt a little, Ellaria probably needed someone to say things how they were. "I'm afraid it's too late for that; Lexie's already gone from her sensible chap to move with the kookiest of kooks, who also happens to be a turncoat and a scoundrel. What a shame, eh? Sacrificing a promising partnership so soon, it'd be concerning if I weren't just about to do a similar thing. Apart from the fact that Naj-what's her face-delena isn't a scumbag, to my knowledge anyway." He then swivled back round to face Atramor. "So how about that drink?"
-
I reckon it would be novel to see how Haldor would fit in that.
-
"Well, whatever you say, friend. That's a relief. There have been times, I still remember that drinking contest with Althior, although that was more like several nights of drinking. Never a more destructive event I have seen." Haldor pulled up a stool. "Seeing as you're still so sober, how about getting me something to drink?"
-
As Ellaria decides she has better things to do than converse with old friends, Haldor jumps up and walks off in search of someone to talk to. Nearing the door, the nord notices Atramor slumped over the bar, and goes over to investigate. The shaman prods the witch's form lightly with the butt of his axe. "Dead...or drunk?"
-
"Aye, that I am, and yes, you could describe it as 'cold'. You've never been there? Don't blame you, there isn't much for an outsider to see. The people are far from welcoming, and any sights you might be interested in are the great battle site and forgotten temple type thing. To be honest, it isn't much of a place to go, unless you fancy being brutalised by bandits in the woods. But still, it was home, and there are few places on this fine earth that can raise a boy to be as hardy as those from Vartland. I didn't fit in much with that." Haldor turned away for a moment to wave at a friend. "Morning, Ellaria, ain't seen you in a while. How are you?"
-
OOC: I didn't want Haldor to be hanged. IC: Haldor didn't want to be hanged. Honestly, I was thinking of trying to divert attention towards an outside attacker, but then time started running out, and then Jorke assualted the party... Seeing as he is a member of the order, I think he'd be granted a fair trial for the crime, and hopefully found not-guilty. For Haldor, admitting the truth would have been impossible. Beside the initial problem of being executed, the order's relationship with Heroica would be ruined beyond repair, which our friend couldn't allow in the knowledge Jorke would probably be set free in the end. As much as owning up would have been the right thing moral, practically, it would cause even further problems.
-
Aww, no sympathy for the nord? It was an accident, after all.

Oxford, England. I love living in the city of dreaming spires.
-
"Should hope so, been through a good number in my time. Back home, it was never much of a problem, thanks to the icy air. But in the absence of any of that; try sticking your head in a barrel of cold water, usually does it for me."
-
Haldor takes a walk through the marketplace with a spring in his step and a smirk on his face. The nord made his way along to Anwyl's smithy, and planted his axe on the counter with a clang. "Dwarf, I need you to hone this weapon to the best of your ability, and I will pay handsomely for it." He leaves the blacksmith to his work, upgrading Zoot er Isen to WP:15 at the cost of 150 gold. The next stop for Haldor is Elphaba's magic wagon, where he exchanges 50 gold pieces for a scroll of sleep without saying a word. The shaman is left with 54 gold coins, and some improved equipment.

Maybe I'll cheer up if you grant me a permanent WP:+2 upgrade.

Nope.

Jabba's Palace is stopping production in 2014
Scorpiox replied to Debricker's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Sigh, do I have to be the one to point out that the Hagia Sofia was originally a church? I just wish that I could do something to help TLG stand up to these woolly liberals and their 'Oh no! This could offend somebody!' mentality. First and foremost, this is a toy based on a film, if anything, Lord Lucas should be the one in trouble. Secondly, I doubt that any child alive who owns this toy has, and ever will, make a connection to Islam and somehow make a judgement about it. Damn, I watched Episode IV first as a teenager and didn't even comprehend any supposed religious connotations. Someone should tell these people to stop being proffesionally offended at everything and get on with their lives. -
Not a lot, ahem, so here it is: Brace yourselves! Thoughts?
-
Etzel, would you please post the Quest #49 sidequest in this thread?
-
Damn, sniped.

Welcome to Ameribricks.com - Major Changes Coming!

Woo yeah! I've now decided that I'm an American, and will be catching the next available flight to return to my home country! USA! USA! USA! I'm so proud to be an American. -
Haldor interupted his hair-combing to jump to his feet, attempting to stop anything from kicking-off. "Oh for pity's sake! Put your bow down, Dyric, let's not have any pub brawls now, the last thing we need is a load of flipping tables. This man -" The nord gestured towards Sarge. "- is clearly a fool, an idiotic one at that, but that don't mean that you should shoot him. Remember, we're all heroes here, admittedly some less than others, and we don't fight each other. Save it for the arena, or lay off. Perhaps it would be a good idea for someone to put regulations in about the standard of membership, but it ain't your place to go rooting out the less worthy." The shaman tossed a nearby chicken leg to his friend. "Here, shoot this instead. Or, you know, eat it." At this, Haldor began to resume his personal grooming, he would have to look perfect for the upcoming 'date'.
-
Okay, I think it's time to reveal Haldor's big secret. Prepare to be shocked, people! Besides Etzel, and Flipz who guessed, this should be unknown to everyone. Etzel, please could you post the Quest #49 sidequest in this thread please? I would, however like to make it clear that this is strictly out of character knowledge; there is no living hero who knows this.
