A nice small creation depicting a lovely scene of charity. The natives giving the settlers food, who'd have thought the Americans would decide them to be 'savags' and decide to kill them after what they did. Nonetheless, I like your figures, though you could use a Western native figure or the newer CMF ones.

Heroica RPG - Quest#19: Let's Start a Riot
Scorpiox replied to Zepher's topic in The Heroica Archive
Haldor collapsed to the ground, blood staining the ground aroung him. He was back again, Haldor was crying. The usual crowd were there, laughing, digging into him with thier boots. What were they saying? 'Weakling', 'pathetic', they were beating him, every blow a hit to Haldor's dishrivled soul. Where was the spirit, it had saved him before, why wasn't it there? There was a new voice, a dark-haired woman, she didn't harm him like the others. She simply whispered in his ear, 'failure', 'weak', 'useless'. She told stories of how Haldor had failed, he was a fool, he loved one who hated him. He was in company of those that laughed, that they thought him weak. There was an Ogre, he was chuckling at a dead Haldor, a tall woman kicking his body into the dirt, a knight who whispered jokess of Haldor's shortcomings. There was also an elf, she laughed of how Haldor was so stupid, that he actually belived she cared for him. They gathered around the body, then the old tormentors became the others at a hall, then the woman came forward. She stood with the others, and they laughed as one, shouting louder and louder. Where was the spirit, when Haldor needed him most, but it was too late for that. 'Failure!' 'idiot!' 'pathetic fool!', 'I can't believe you were stupid enough to not see that I always hated you!'. Mocking laughter, kicks and blows, louder and louder. Then there was only blackness... -
Thanks! I also enjoy the contrast between the two characters, and hopefully Eric can have another conversation soon. With Haldor I'm trying to release his story bit by bit, and Haldor's 'guardian angel will react to everyone differently. Depending on who he sees as a possible threat to Haldor. I'm also trying to put accross Darkbane's often wrong idea of who is 'evil', as people like Tesni and De'kra are darker characters. P.S. I'm interested to see what Tesni's sword is doing to her. Keep the character building coming people!

Heroica RPG - Quest#19: Let's Start a Riot
Scorpiox replied to Zepher's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Argh! Why can't I hit anything? I'll try to hit Caravan Soldier K from the front row. Get out of my head Wren! I'm not weak! DO NOT LAUGH AT ME! " Haldor shakes his head to try and get rid of Wren's whispers in his mind. He was back in the village, Haldor was a child alone and crying in a corner he was being kicked and laughed at. All his childhood Haldor was mocked and bullied. He was different, he was beaten and laughed at for it, he was not like them. Haldor had the power, the others thought him weak and bullied him, but he couldn't defend himself. One morning he'd fled from the cruel mob, he ran to the derelict tomb, he'd hid, as the others dared not follow him. That was were he found it, the crystal, throbbing and glowing with blue energy. Without thinking Haldor took it. Strange dreams came to the young Haldor, voices speaking. He heard whispers in the dark, speaking out, shadows lurked. And then Haldor saw it, a blue mist clearing the shadows, a figure speaking. The voice told Haldor to hold the blue crystal, to keep it with him, always. The following morning the usual crowd arrived, pulling him onto the mud, holding his head underwater. But the strange crystal throbbed and glowed further, and then they ran, the bullies fled from the blast. For the spirit had camw to Haldor's aid, it protected him, it sent the bullies running. The voice told Haldor to never lose faith, for he would be the're in Haldor's hour of need. Then the buisness with the wolf happened... The spirit was the one who inspired Haldor to leave the Norselands for Uland and the south. Haldor found the crystal all those years ago in the tomb of Grishnaka Darkbane, a Norse hero who was famed for driving the demons out of the caves and valleys. The crystal in his tomb contained the remenants of his soul. Darkbane took pity on Haldor and recognised his ability to heal wounds, Darkbane decided to help Haldor. Haldor's power increased tenfold and Grishnaka's soul helped Haldor overcome his tormenters. The reason that the crystal had attacked Tesni on their previous quest was that, it just wanted to protect Haldor from the possible danger that a apparently possessed Tesni posed. The crystal and the soul within was Haldor's guardian angel, striving to ensure Haldor's safety. But the memories of Haldor's childhood still haunted him, and thus he couldn't abide people laughing at him. Then Haldor returned, he was back in the battle, He tore his eyes from Jess to attack the enemy, as he didn't want her to think him pathetic for missing all the time. Sorry for such a long post Just doing some character building. -

Haldor recoils from the attack, but pushes onwards to assault Caravan Soldier K from the front row. "C'mon, let us fight on! Let's try and get at least five extra soldiers. Jess, you are magnificent in battle, as you are in every other aspect of life!" -
Sorry, couldn't resist!

I've updated my post. Haldor realises that he'd been to busy staring at Jess to properly mount his attack. He shook his head to try and concentrate and mounted his attack on Caravan soldier I from the front row. -

Haldor, frustrated at missing his target, goes for Caravan Soldier I from the front row. He pulls back, ready for the battle. He is distracted again for a moment, to praise Jess on her skill, but then trails off into more praises about how lovely she is. He prepares himself, and attempts to stop staring at Jess long enough to fight the soldiers. EDIT: Aarrrggghh! The 'I' didn't make it through the copy and pasting. -

I can't believe they brought back Maul, didn't he get chopped in half and fell into a reactor core? He couldn't be more dead could he? Yet the writers bring him back. Maybe next time they'll bring back Jango Fett, even though he got his head chopped off. Or maybe Qui-gon, even though he was stabbed and his body was cremated. Grevious is alright in the films, and at least he's in them. Savage Opress (, what's up with his name?!?!), is just so rubbish. -

"Shut your mouth! You are a coward! Of course you insult us from afar, but are too afraid to insult Jess to my face. I will srike at Caravan Soldier E from the front row, and unlike you Wren, we fight where our opponents can see us." Haldor unslings his heavy metal rod, and raises it into an offensive stance. "Just wait Wren, when we find you, you will pay. Jess is far more brave and strong than you, and when we come I will punish you for insulting her. She's the prettiest girl I've ever seen, but-" Haldor trails off into mumble praises of Jess's exellence. He holds her hand and prepares for the fight. -

In my mind, most major (excluding clones obviously) in TCW that never appeared in anything else usually are rubbish characters. E.G. Savage Opress (, and his name is pathetic, might as well be called M3G4 Ownage!!!1!). The writers do make up bad stuff don't they? -
All apples will be sterlized of course, including soft, bruised ones. Rotten apples will be burned to destroy infection. Stay in your homes, curfew is now in place. Heroica hall is schedualed for demolition as it carries the infection. All heroes who have been in the hall recently will be terminated and their bodies burnt to prevent spread of infection. Gas masks will available at the marketplace, bottled water will also be handed out. Quarantine is in place, anyone attempting to leave Eubric will be terminated and their body will be burnt. Stay in your homes and await further instruction, the town wat-*static* Game Over.
-
I take responibility for the epicdemic, feel free to lynch me and burn my body to destroy the infection. But it has already spread t0 Jess, Althior, and Alexis, with Leo and Dak are showing the first symptoms! Soon the town watch will be handing out gas masks and bottled water! But the hall is now a epicentre for the disease, and will have to be razed to the ground. Game Over.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

I'm going to do something new here, and post in this thread. I have one thing to say, Obi Wan Kenobi is easily one of the best characters in the whole of Star Wars, he's just awesome in a way that Anakin can never be. No matter how much they build him up. Euan McGregor played Kenobi fantasically, he's amusing and gets saved a lot by Anakin but he does everything with style. The Utapua part in ROTS is a great example of this, Anakin is made to try and be 'cool' but Obi Wan Kenobi is far 'cooler'. He's just WAY better than Anakin, but TCW is in danger of ruining the character. He is untouchable, he may lose fights and such but not humilitatingly, he doesn't get nearly killed, he's the only one who can still make funny lines while fighting a main enemy. He has great style can't get injured. As soon as he gets 'owned' Lucas has screwed up one of his best characters. Also, Euan McGregor isn't figgin' ginger, so why does his LEGO figure and animated character have ginger hair when it's supposed to look like him?!?!? Rant over. -
You guys can blame me for all this! Sorry. Tanma, I love how De'kra is played, the way you make him see things differently is awesome!
-
Woah! That's too far!
-
Dammnit! I appear solely responsible for all the mad love in the hall! Oh and Bioniclover, Jess and Alexis are both Elves, and Althior and Haldor are both humans, so you could probably find a human or elf girl!
-
Haldor was the one who helped Althior attract Alexis thank you very much! Haldor and Jess were the first, then Haldor gave Althior dating advice and got him started with Alexis. Then my comments lead to a few of you guys making plans to go mass dating! JediAnakin! Stop falling for girls you've never been anywhere near! The aren't opjects, treat them as people, give them a chance to see whether they like you before you get married!
-
What have I done?!? Why!?! Why did I start this! The hall will now be eternaly full of heroes hunting for a girlfriend! Thanks to me... There are many nice girls in the hall, but it's hard to make plans without actually haven spoken to them. Nah, she said 'that he didn't make her heart flutter as it used to', or something like that. I though Tarn was still bravely chasing after Tesni?

"Aye, to battle. Though I request that Jess goes behind me, so I can block the shots, just so long that she is safe. I'd rather die that let Jess get hurt, because I love her." Haldor pulls Jess into an embrace, and kisses her. "I'll take the hits Jess, I'm the 'weakest' afteral, so I might as well act as your shield." -
I warn you, Ellaria is quite difficult to flirt with, not that I've tried... What about Cinna, she's a friendly soul, or Eradicatrghtehs (however one types that. ) I wouldn't try Tes, you might lose an arm! Big reveal? You aren't a murdering psychopath I hope...
-
Not just Nur! Ameli's son is also there!
-
Keep going Althior! I see you followed Haldor's lead with a present! Though Althior and Alexis have got together a lot fasther than Jess and Haldor did, they were kept apart by war fate different time zones and quests! But now they're on a quest together they can get up to whatever mischief they want! Oh and did Benji just utter the words 'want some chicken?'?!? You know how Pie hates that!...

It's just the 'honeymoon phase' (for want of a better phrase), and will settle down soon, but not stop completely. Jess will hopefuly keep her clothes on in the prescence of others. Oh and putting the relationship through tribulations is exactly the idea for later. It is the true way to test their bond, see how they cope when faced with bad situations. I trust Wren will ensure a few of those come our way. "What sort of enemies are we facing? Grunts? Or something tougher?" Haldor restlessly handles his metal rod, he didn't like the look of these rebels, but it seemed they were the lesser of the two evils. He holds Jess close to calm himself. "Fools, cowardly fools. Jess has far more honour than them, getting others to do their dirty work. And I'm not the weakest one, I'm tougher than Dyric! () "Are we all set? It's time for Crakin' skulls! Jess, I love you, you are the nicest and prettiest girl I've ever seen . And I promise you one thing, If it gets bad just get behind me, I'll take the hits, it's only right that I go down before you. "
