  1. Why do we even have those emotes...
  2. Just a joke that went on for a while. It refers to the talk about people having the 'memory of a goldfish'. (I hate that emote! )
  3. "Aww thanks Je- erm Lara. You're terribly nice to this worn-out old feeble sack of bones. I love you, but I'm sorry for everything." Haldor passes over his 62 gold and Jess' 13 gold in exchange for a grating stone. He uses it to smooth and work the heavy metal of his rod. Haldor's rod is now joint with Cysgodian as the most powerful weapon in the wole game!
  4. "Thank ye Dragon, much appreatiated. Would anyone mind lending me 13 gold? I will pay you back. If anyone does lend me the money, I'll buy a grating stone."
  5. Pie, saying that thing over and over since 2009.
  6. Ooh! I love it when this happens! I'd love to sign up, I haven't played a mystery before but firmly grasp the mechanics through reading a couple. Count me in! Go Hinckley!
  7. "Uhh, what use would we have for a dragon? Here would you like to buy my frying pan off me? I have no use for it, and if you do I'll buy a grating stone. So you are better off in the deal any way."
  8. Thanks for clearing that up Zepher. "Arright then, I'll only bet five gold on light."
  9. "Five gold on light and earth." Haldor scowls and looks around, still impersonating a tramp () who was called Guts Holla.
  10. "Fine, I raise my bid to five gold on earth and water."
  11. Haldor in armour and after a shave! Nice photography, seems like a good quest.
  12. "I'll put three gold on earth and three gold on water" Haldor puts on his Guts Holla look, basicly look as stupid and thuggish as possible!
  13. Watching from the sidelines this seemed quite a good game. It's refreshing to see lots of good characterisation, but it's a shame about the lack of regular posters. The sole reason I didn't sign up was that I didn't know what a mystery game was. The game seemed very open, with regards to what people could do, though it seemed a little too open at points. It didn't seem that much evidence was actually found, and most of the suspicions started at the beginning of the game. I really didn't suspect CM or Peanuts, as I overlooked the apparently vital info nearer the start. I suspected Rumble like most others but in the end he won it for the good guys! I think you are good host, Bob_, the characters were good and the sets were outstanding! I love the way you took time to build all the houses and streets.
  14. 20,000 members eh? I love EB for the big happy community that we share. A couple of years ago I got into LEGO after a long dark age, but owning very little I bought LEGO Battles on DS to virtually relive the figures of my past. I fell in love with the Islanders, so I cruised the internet for ways to find some. After a long search I stumbled upon a site that possessed a guide on the Pirates Minifigures. I read through it and loved the in-depth review. I hoped this site would have some more info on the Islanders. I ended up reading the forum and became attracted to the friendly and helpful guidence on the board. I signed up after a month or two of stalking, and yes, the guide was TalonCard's Guide to the Pirate minifigures-Part V, the Islanders. And yes, the site was Mister Phes' Classic Pirates.com! After a bit I branched out into the other EB forums, and thus Scorpiox was born. I thank my lil' Islanders for bringing me here.
  15. "There wasn't need for fighting, Dyric just got angry, so I put him down a peg or two. I am not responsible for the bad things in his life, and neither is Hans. He needs to learn to control himself. But we should give him a chance. I reckon we might nead the toad if we explore the town, I have a feeling that he'll be useful." Haldor put on his chainmail and gathered his things for the coming day, keeping an eye on Dyric and smiling at Jess.
  16. "Aye, scout out the town." Haldor rises and makes breakfast, eager for the coming trip. In a moment of compassion he walks over to the shady rogue Dyric. "Dyric, friend. I know little about you, where did you come from? I understand if past memories have tainted you, but help should not be seeked by anger at your friends. Everyone has had their share of hardship, but there is no fate except what we make for ourselves. The Gods may watch over us, but you have the power you rectify your past." The Legonator, how old is Dyric? Just wondering, as he thought Haldor a 'young man'. That's not really how I think of Haldor, he's meant to be quite clever and experianced. 'there is no fate except what we make for ourselves' - Stolen shamelessly from the Terminator films.
  17. "Get off me! Who the hell do you think you are?!? We've all had losses, but it doesn't make you a tough guy to go around telling people their sufferings are nothing!" Haldro holds Dyric by the scruff of his thoat, shaking him violently. "They took everything from you huh? Well guess what? I never had anything in the first place, I'm seen things you never imaginge. Sit down and shut up, maybe one day you'll get revenge on these people. But for now, don't go losing any few friends you have, we're here to help the people of this town. Not have fits and flee from battle." Haldor throws Dyric onto the floor and goes off to sleep.
  18. While Jess sleeps, Haldor lies awake, thinking.
  19. "Dyric, you fled like a coward, I was bleeding and dying. You abandoned your friends, you are the lowest. I know true pain, tell me, 'hero'. Did you have to wait till coming to Eubric to be told you were valued? Did your entire childhood pass without a single kind word? You should stop talking, for there is no excuse for leaving your friends for dead. Have you asked, or even cared what Hans has been through? No, because you care not for anyone but yourself. Stop talking, 'hero'." Haldor turns to tug Jess into his bedroll, testing to see if she still wanted to be with him.
  20. As a British person I can confirm most of that artical that I can be bothered to read. But let's move on. Don't you insult Mrs. Queen!
  21. Don't you insult Mrs. Queen!
  22. But Mrs. Queen has lots of power!
  23. "Alright then, to sleep everybody! Jess, there is a space here for you as always." Haldor invites Jess into his bedroll again, as the sun sets in the sky.
