    That looks majestic! BB is such a wonderful and, I feel, underrated building. Still my absolute favorite alongside the Downtown Diner.

    Yup, DD all the way. Best building experience of all the modulars so far IMHO. Highly recommended.

    Oh, breaking news: According to Bricksanity (via Promobricks), there are three full sets in every box. Funnily enough, each row of the box seems to contain one set.

    In the second blister pack you'll have to buy. Although, then you'll have four, so the fourth will be the odd one, so you'll want to have two matching sets of three each, which will oblige you to buy three packs.

    I think what was meant was just that, from a consumer perspective, faced with the choice of buying one or the other at this moment (provided you don't own AS yet), it would be very difficult to decide in favor of CG as opposed to AS, the latter offering much greater value, especially with the discounts going on.

    Either that or just, you know, common sense. As far as I'm concerned, the need to "protect LEGO" is an alien concept to me. They have to convince ME with their product. This attempt failed to pique my interest, so I'll have to pass on it. They want my money, they better up their game, that's all there really is to it. But that's just me, and people are different. And then fanboys are even more different, I guess ... Oh well. Horses for courses and all that.

    Sorry to burst your bubble, but most of the critics just seem to be the overwhelming majority. And that's not just the case for EURObricks, but for every social platform I've seen so far. Maybe, just maybe the set is actually at fault here, rather than "Europeans" (or grumpy AFOLs, for that matter).

    Well, I have to admit that I for one hate leaks. I basically consider them spoilers and try to avoid them whenever I can. Don't really see the point of having some shoddy low-res xeroxes two weeks ahead of time. For me, it's just detrimental to the impact and the enjoyment of the official reveal in all its glory. YMMV.

    Nope, that's actually a typewriter in BB. Totally agree about DD though; that set is pure genius and such a spectacular build. Hope to see many more modulars from the same designer.

    PR is going to be retired first, which would leave you more time to acquire DD, and it's a fan favourite. Personally, I like the Diner better, and it has amazing building techniques, making it my favourite building experience by far. But I also love Brick Bank, so what do I know.
