  1. haha- I was quoting (or trying to quote) Starhawk, not you. I agree with you. I just highlighted his bit and pressed the quote button. Sorry for the confusion. . I didn't by the ISD because I was not crazy about the design of the ship after seeing it upclose. If it had come with 5 awesome minifigs, it would have had no impact on my decision. I did by the MF. If the Falcon had come with just 2 ordinary minifgs, I still would have bought it, because its a fantastic looking design.
  2. I find this statement bizarre. A few minifigs are a nice little fun bonus in UCS kits but have virtually zero impact on my decision to buy one. I mean seriously, you layout 400 bucks for a display piece and the main thing you are concerned about is a few figures? To each his own I guess.
  3. Big thumbs up for this! Loved building that tower and all the little details in it. It's more like the Sandcrawler in being a MB/UCS hybrid. But its not SW obviously so I think it doesn't really count in this poll. :)
  4. Falcon is in a class on its own. But below that, the Slave I and the Sandcrawler were the ones I had the most fun building.
  5. To be honest I'd be pretty happy with any of those choices. I just think the Nebulon would be the most interesting to build in a large scale, and there hasn't been an official one before. If its a 200 dollar UCS like the Y-Wing or Snowspeeder, then the Bomber of Gunship. But if it's a big time 400 plus kit, then Nebulon!
  6. did everyone see this? From Lego ideas. Vote for Nebulon, Bomber or Gunship. I voted Nebulon https://ideas.lego.com/activities/ab2e9684-6b82-4133-9066-d574fb23d375/response/837d9a41-0a9b-47c9-8152-e2b443fb195a/page/27d472af-f9c2-48a0-8413-981c94a03c7f/edit
  7. I see instructions! Can we order them yet?
  8. Noticed a slight Slave 'gap' after several years- applied this MOD and problem solved. Simple, solid, invisible.
  9. I think even that is not a sure bet. Logical, but not a sure bet.
  10. You can't go wrong with any of those. I personally prefer the Monarch very slightly - But would not argue much with anyone who preferred one of the others. When choosing between models of that quality it's really just a personal choice. The dream would be too have all three displayed in a long hallway or something.
  11. The new Tantive IV! Great ship, only thing that really bothered me was how empty it looks around the engines, but easy to add of texture in there. Need to find a good stand for it now...
  12. That is awesome!
  13. love the engine details- that's really clever.
  14. That's the one. Really nice. I'm now inspired to count up the tiles from the photos and see about a brick link order....
  15. Still one of my favourite sets of all time. There was someone who tiled it up a bit and reworked the top and engine area and it looked fantastic. I’ve often thought of doing the same.
  16. Yeah! I don’t really like the racers anyway. So what could it be? The Razor Crest? A Quadjumper? Hammerhead?
  17. I'm sure I saw a Quadjumper parked in one of the Mandalorian episodes...
  18. I am buying this the second the instructions come out.
  19. Couple of updates to the top. Looks cleaner I think. but will need a new brick order before tackling the engines.
  20. So what do we think of the brick built Bantha? https://ww.9to5toys.com/2019/11/19/lego-star-wars-2020-more/ I'm underwhelmed to be honest. They did a much better job on the Dewback. While the brickbuilt Dewback is an even better scale than the molded version, this Bantha is way to small. Don't like the sides, tail or the feet. Oh well.
