  1. It certainly seems to be. I had a copy still in the box waiting to be built, but then found a guy on Craigslist selling a bunch of stuff and managed to snag the ship (dusty and assembled but looked mostly intact), most of the minifigs from that set (including all 3 of the Damned), a few other LoTR figs, 3 random Pirates of the Caribbean figs (one is the legs and torso for my Sig Fig), AND the dragon and troll from 7048 Troll Warship for $50. I'm sure all of that will eventually show up in builds at some point.
  2. We just might, but probably not for a little bit at least. I think I'm going to start his story small and work my way up to some larger things, so I can work on my building and photography skills while I go. I did just get a screaming deal on the Lord of the Rings pirate ship, so I might use those pieces as the base of something later....
  3. Absolutely stunning. A giant model comprised of many individually beautiful aspects.
  4. Hi all, just signing up for the Kaliphlin guide. Sig fig is Kalen von Mikrobricks, a fallen pirate lord seeking vengeance and redemption in Kaliphlin. Looking forward to some fun builds in the future! Kalen von Mikrobricks by MikroBricks, on Flickr
  5. But . . . but . . . the lime green!
  6. Already posted in the introduction thread, but wanted to add my sign-up here, but Jayce Mikrobricks reporting for duty as a M.A.N.T.I.S. pilot. Looking forward to getting some builds together for the glory of M.A.N.T.I.S. Jayce Mikrobricks by MikroBricks, on Flickr

  8. Incredibly visually striking MOC. The more muted base really helps the whole landing pad "pop" and shows off the great color scheme.
  9. The "floating" effect is really a great touch, it really kicks the MOC up another notch.
  10. I've seen the pictures a few times now and it never ceases to amaze me, absolutely top notch work!
  11. Great representation of the show!
  12. Recently snagged two (!!) Darth Revan polybags for $5 each on Craigslist (Both still in bag, it was weird as everything else the guy was selling was going for roughly what it cost on Bricklink $10-20 items, but for some reason Revan was 5, not that I'm complaining) and the UCS Tie Fighter on Prime Day. Hadn't planned on getting it originally, but at that price I couldn't resist as it will look great next to the Red 5 X-Wing.
  13. Great videos, really enjoyed them! I'd done something similar in a past build but good to know there is a dedicated format of sorts.
  14. 1) Goofy 2) Pluto 3) Sorcerer Mickey 4) Disney Princesses
