Hello everyone and Happy New Year to all!! The most recent post I made about my winter was in 2019 and during this period I have always continued to update it. Since then, the situation has gotten a bit out of hand and the size of the village has practically doubled with lights, sounds and motorized parts. Hi all, this is my 2022 MOC for my Winter Village. It's a ski rental shop where the minifigures of my winter village could buy or rent ski, snowboards, ice skates, helmets and all things you need or ou can use when you're in mountains. Photos are a little bit old but now I've add lights and other details. Hello everybody, the time available to me is less and less but I managed to insert another small piece inside my Winter Village: The Old Newsstand. At the moment it is still in a "summer" version but will soon be covered with snow to better match the context. The little moc was born inspired by the old newsstands of historic cities like Milan (the city I live in) and Paris. I am aware that it still has some "flaws" but, unfortunately for the time available, it is already a result to be able to present it to you. I hope you like it and I hope to be able to finish it all for this winter. Small SPOILER: Compared to the photos posted previously, the village has almost doubled and still lacks a small space to finish all the tables available. Alessio

I took inspiration from an image on the internet and I wanted to try to put it in my winter village. Help with my Sky chairs

Hi all, here's another update. I've changed the number of the wheels in the base station like this: And it works better then the previous one but very often, after the ski chair has passed, the cable falls outwards but there's no reason because the two stations are perfectly aligned ( 2nd photo) Any suggestions? I solved the traction problem putting some rubber band around the wheel with the motor: It's not looking good but it works.. Maybe in the future i build a roof so i can hide it -

Hi all, here's a little update. I solved the traction problem and the ski chairs attack to the cable. Now it's work but it's not so smooth. For example sometimes the chairs are blocked by the wheel (first image) instead of passed below (second image). I release a little bit the cable but the situation doesn't change. i also tried a bigger wheel but it's worst -
Hi all, i'm working on a motorized technic sky chairs and it's my first project with Technic. I've build most of it but i have some troubles that stopped my work. The best solution i've found is in the photos but sometimes the cable exit from the wheels or when the chair turn back, it drops down. The chair is not very stable with this solution. 2. Traction: even if i used a rubber band around the big wheel, the cable continues to slip sometimes. For the cable i use this: Dark Bluish Gray String, Cord Medium Thickness 300cm Part No: x77cc300 and for the big wheels i use these: Dark Bluish Gray Wheel 75mm D. x 17mm Motorcycle Part No: 88517 I also check this topic for any advices but whithout results: Can you help me?
