  1. Ah, so they did. The gypsy lady is the only one I got from series 9, and it was loose, so I never got the leaflet for that wave.
  2. Yeah, the original run of Savage She Hulk from the 70s kinda drags in my opinion, but the 80's Sensational She Hulk and most everything after is pretty funny, tongue-in-cheek, fourth wall breaking stuff, almost like Deadpool, but not crude or violent.
  3. I suggested this in another thread, but I wonder with the ideas for new characters getting so fringey, if the way the CMF line is gonna go is a wave per year corresponding to the year (i.e. Wave 17 in 2017, wave 18 in 2018,) with the rest of the waves being specific to franchises like Simpsons, Disney, Lego Batman movie, Ninjago movie, Scooby Doo wave, Dr Who wave, etc? Oh, and since this is aguessing thread, I'm gonna guess the next wave will have a hobo, a "robber", a butler, a lobster suit guy, a trash man, a roller derby girl and a hipster. And a guy with a removable "disguise" like in the games. A nose and glasses thing.
  4. How crazy would it be if the only CMF line in 2017 is 17 and there's only one a year from now on to coincide with the current year? You gotta admit, they're runnin out of ideas for new characters, and the online game just stopped. Maybe they're gonna just do mostly themed minifigs. Maybe a Lego movie wave, a Disney wave, a Simpsons wave and a CMF wave.
  5. If you don't know how to use spoiler tags, you probably shouldn't say anything about the movie. We get it; you don't like the movie or Feig or female ghostbusters or whatever. I don't care about this movie and I have my own issues with it, but there's no reason to post things about it or insist I do something with my money in a video game thread. This thread has LITERALLY NOTHING to do with the plot of the film or any cameos or turns or endings or character descriptions. If you want to flame a movie you've already seen before it's even out, go start a blog that I won't check til after I've seen the movie, should I decide to see it. You know why no one in the Lego Star Wars Wishlist thread posted something like "really sad to see one of my favorite characters from the original films not make it :( " on opening weekend? Cause dick move. That's why. There are some people here who are actually excited to see this for some reason. I know if I was, I would be furious with you right now.
  6. Ooh! A video game thread that has nothing to do with a movie IS a good place to put spoilers about a movie without using spoiler tags!
  7. I've never watched Avengers Assemble, but I'm really hoping the other two sets are classic comic style Thor (w helmet) and Iron Man (legit version of the micros one) vs Mandarin and buildable Destroyer or Enchantress and Iron Monger mech and classic comic style Hawkeye and Ant Man vs Baron Zemo. Or Fraction Hawkeye w Pizza Dog. I know that's a long shot, though.
  8. Actually, Jen can change back and forth at will. She doesn't need to angry. In fact, she spent quite a bit of time litigating in her green form. But I'll be disappointed if there's not a second sensational face printing!
  9. That Shulkie is sensational and that Hulk is incredible. Ross is a little dull and Betty looks like a Nexo Knights villain, but good inclusion just to complete the Ross family, I guess. The more I look at the vehicles, the more fun they look, but I still won't buy this at full price, just like I won't buy the Croc Sewer Smash at full price. However, once I get both of them, since I plan on keeping my old Killer Croc as my main Killer Croc til the LBM one comes out and using the new bigfig one as Abomination, I do plan on making some sort of Excitebike/monster truck rally for all three of them to crash around in.
  10. YESSSS! She Hulk is one of my favorite characters of all time. Time to ditch my Bootlego Shulkie.
  11. Walmart has them on clearance and Amazon had the pretty cheap. I've actually only ever paid full price for the Dr Who set, and I have all the level packs, many of the team packs and over half the fun packs. Most of them I've gotten for 50% msrp.
  12. Yeah, but it's all one piece, right? So that means they have to sculpt new ones everytime, or is it some file in a computer they just tweak minimally and it makes a new mold?
  13. I wonder if getting the brick-built Clayface means we're never gonna see the little melty Milk Dud looking minifig version of him from the first game? Also wonder if this Killer Croc and the Abomination Croc from the sewer set and the new bigfig Bane from the movie means we won't see video game versions of them, either? And speaking of bigfigs, does anyone know if there's a reason they don't have moveable legs, or at least different positioning occasionally since each one is a new sculpt?
  14. That was kind of my line of thinking. I mean, there's that couple of seconds in the beginning of TLM when Emmet was trying on different outfits after he almost left the house naked, but he didn't have a giant closet of different costumes that have been part of his gimmick for years and years. There may not be a different Batman in every set (although that would definitely be more of an incentive for people to buy every set), but I can't see them doing the variant Bat suits in the cmf line unless it's all 16 of them and that's the "joke".
  15. I'm just imagining him having some kind of backpack that holds actual packets of ketchup and mustard.
  16. I wonder if the Batcave set will come with the dry cleaner racks to display the different suits. That's one thing that's been missing from the previous Batcaves is a place for the suit when he's not wearing it.
  17. It would be the first minifig that needed refrigeration and had an expiration date.
  18. This. I would add Micro Ant Man. Silver Centurion and Green Goblin and Wonder Woman are definitely up there, as is the Juniors Lex Luthor.
  19. Based on the DIY look of Two-Face, I don't think you guys want a Lego Movie version of Condiment King, haha.
  20. I really don't see there being more than two Bat suits in the CMF wave. I could be wrong, but it seems like the Batsuit variants will be the things that anchor the sets. 13 of the same Batsuit in the sets would be way overboard. I'm not saying Batman will be in every single set, but probably more than Emmet was in TLM sets. I'm guessing the robe one and some zany Bat suit like Rainbow or Zebra in the cmf wave and the rest are probably henchman, civilians, secret fun characters and Bat family variants. I think main Bat Fam characters, Batman battle suits, main characters, lead villains, bigfigs, buildable figs and Justice League figures will be in the sets. There are so many heavy characters in this movie compared to the last one. TLM basically had Emmet, Benny, Lord Business, Vitruvius, Wyldstyle, Bad Cop and Unikitty. That's as many characters as the JL.
  21. Honestly, as much as I could see there being more characters in all the franchises, the only one that feels incomplete to me is Oz, which is a franchise I don't even really care about, but I definitely think that could've been a team pack with Dorothy and then your Dorothy could've scrolled through the rest of the gang. The problem there is the abilities. I could see the Lion growing big, the Tin Man having silver blow up and the Scarecrow having stealth, but I don't know what Dorothy would do and none of them would really make sense to be able to do other characters abilities. It would be fun for the fans of that franchise to make Dorothy and the Lion run around in circles, I guess, but they wouldn't be useful to the game. It's like the Scooby Doo pack. I don't even use Shaggy for anything, why would I need the rest of the gang? They're in the game, and I didn't have to buy them. I agree they did put out more than enough redundant Ninjago and Chima, but I didn't buy more of those than I needed, either. It's just like, is love to have a Lord Vortech minifigure, but I don't need to be able to play as him. What would he even do? I'm not trying to invalidate what anyone is saying; if you wanna play as a Dr Who Companion or Tails or Maggie Simpson, that's your thing. I'm just saying there's no point for Lego to make extra pieces, especially lisenced ones, that don't really add anything to the game other than getting to control another character and breaking the completists wallets even more. Most of those characters do already have minifigs, anyway. Again, with the exception of Oz. My only issue with their choices so far is that I wish the Ghostbuster they used for the new story pack was Kate McKinnon, but that's just a personal preference. I know we'll get to play as all of them. I just can't stand Melissa McCarthy.
  22. I think that Marvel has made a point that they want to include more female characters in their merchandise, so I'd be surprised if there's a single other female as a main character that isn't in a set. Valkyrie, the lead villain and maybe even Sif should all get minifigs for Ragnarok.
  23. Yeah, I was gonna say Green Goblin but that was until I opened CW Airport Battle last night. Now I have to say it's a tie between Micro Ant-Man and Giant Man. Not only are they awesome, they're totally new ways of presenting characters. It's like the first time I got to check out a Bigfig. Lego figures have come so far since the days of Castle and Fabuland.
  24. Almost positive that the only way into a hubworld is with the printed on character id tags. The plain blue ones you build stuff on don't grant you access. That said, you're gonna want to get the level pack, so you'll have Peter's ID tag, so you'll be able to access the Hubworld with that one. However, without Stay-Puft's ID tag, you won't be able to play as him; he'll just be a regular minifig. I will say that Mr Stay Puft was the first character piece I put into my obsolete container. I know that's a lot of so's and but's, but I just wanted you to have all the angles on it. It's a GREAT game, and it gets more fun and easier to navigate once you start getting more guys. Be sure to get Slimer. He does a ton of stuff. I get all the level packs; that lets you explore every area. You're gonna need a Ninjago guy for the Spinjistu pads (I recommend Jay and if you can swing it, Master Wu for his pole ability if you don't want Legolas), a Chima guy (I got Cragger cause he looks the coolest, but they're pretty much all the same, I think. You just need to be able to do the Chi thing, and he can do it underwater), Unikitty, Emmet, and Cyberman. I think that covers every thing you have to do, but sometimes you'll run into something where you'll need somebody that can do two things at the same time you'd otherwise be able to do with two individual guys. I just recently got Cyberman because I ran into a couple instances where you have to have Silver Destroy underwater in a place too tight to get Aquamans ship. And I got Jay from ninjago because there was a place in Oz where you have to have stealth to turn off a sensor, but you have to do it with electricity. You'll get it. It's awesome.
