Heroica RPG - Quest#3: The Missing Matriarch
Quarryman replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"However, according to my calculations there are 24 different ways we can arrange the children into the beds, surely we can't try all of these, that would take forever. So clearly we need to be clever. I wonder if there might a connection between the colours of the teddy bears and the children's names?" -

Baritones 3 Confirmation and Discussion thread

And I'm really disappointed that the cross-dressing construction man is openly having an affair, poor Steve. -
Gratulerer med dagen cecilie! It's a classic for many important happenings in Norway, such as baptisms, confirmations and weddings, (this probably varies between various regions in Norway though) but yes, it works fine for birthdays too.

I think it's entirely possible that he's not a Baritone but a Russian, and that the Russians have known about the Baritones from the beginning. This is just speculation however. I don't think it's possible that he isn't some sort of scum though, and I will be voting for him when the time comes. I didn't expect to be alive now to be honest, I thought we'd be done for if Wilem was Town, which it turned out he was.

Well, at least I'll die with a clear(er) conscience. Vote: Dmitri (Dragonator).

"So, what are we waiting for? Onwards to the Nursery!" -

"Damn! Indeed, let's not forget the Sun Room, it would be most unfortunate if we did. " "Well, we have to go through the Foyer to get to the second floor, so forgetting that room seems rather impossible. " "So, after checking this rather dull and boring guest room should we perhaps proceed to the Sun Room? And then we can go upstairs?" -

"Pretty sure that when you use your potion you spend it all, regardless of whether it restores 1 or 10 health." "Now, where do we go next? Let's see that map again, shall we?" "So, may I suggest that we check the Guest Room that's the only room on this floor that we haven't visited yet, and then move on to the second floor?" -

"As a matter of fact, Althior, I do think there is something wrong with that. The Cauldron is the only enemy I can achieve double damage against, whereas you have the possibility of double damage using either Lightning or Wind against one of the flying Turkeys, so I rather think you should do that." "Then Nyx could target the other Turkey with Lightning or Light, whichever she prefers." "And yes, with three mages in the party I think each of us mages should target one enemy, and then our companions can target one enemy each as well." "Furthermore I think the most important thing to do would be to get rid of the Cauldron as that could deal any of us 6 damage regardless of where we are in battle, something that could take me out for instance. (yes, you may ridicule the weak Mage, but please leave that for after the battle, okay?)" "I'm entirely open to other suggestions or just having flaws in my reasoning pointed out though, as I have a feeling there's something here that I haven't thought about" -

"Looks like it's time I pulled out my Garnet and cast an Earth spell at Goldraum the Cauldron, from the back row, as usual." -
Neat! And I love the fact that the librarian is a monkey, lovely reference.

"Sounds good noble leader, using this sweet opal I'll cast an ice spell at the blast of heat." -

"Doesn't it seem most likely that Chesterine will be a chest?" "And Cronk, I really appreciate your offer of a bedroll to borrow, so if we're allowed to rest here for a bit I'd happily accept." -
Feel like I'm spelling my own doom here, but what the heck. Vote: Samuel (Sandy) That at least is easy to understand, we all wanted Ruxana dead yesterday, for once we had an easy target and we all went for it. And a quick addendum, as this Day is almost over I fear we won't reach a conviction today, and if I wanted one I would have to go vote for Dmitri, but I don't feel good about that vote, so I won't.

"And I'll once again be in the back row casting a Fire spell at the tan book. Now, if Nyx could target the blue book we can end this battle right now, if we have a bit of luck." -

"Okay, we're making progress, eliminating Mabel the table was great, well done noble leader. And now we should probably have two of us target the Blue book, two target the Tan one (as these are the enemies with the most health remaining), and then the remaining two party members target one book each. Sounds good?" -
Heroica RPG - Quest#3: The Missing Matriarch
Quarryman replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Noble leader, seeing as we're now down to 5 enemies and can afford to have two people targeting the same enemy I'd like to target Mabel the Table, which is the only one I can achieve double damage against. And I think we still have a very good chance of winning this, so I don't think we should flee." "So, here goes: I'll be in the Back row casting a Fire spell at Mabel the Table." -

"Yes, let's move, I highly doubt that this room has anything else worth exploring. And I really want to meet an angry dinner table to try out these new gems on. " -
No, Dmitri's story sounds weird indeed, but we can get back to him tomorrow, so for now I think Ruxana is the way to go. Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator)

Heroica RPG - Quest#3: The Missing Matriarch
Quarryman replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Like my noble leader I definitely agree to your terms High Conjurator, and assuming that our third magical companion is in agreement I would like the Ruby (Fire), Garnet (Earth) and Opal (Ice) gems. Though, if Althior wants any of these I have no problems letting him have those." -
In my experience from other games-of-life and what I've read in books about situations similar to ours multiple Mafia families always work against each other.

Ahem, please remember that the night action that's "invented" isn't necessarily random. Or did Stanislav tell you that his inventions were random?
