So are there any updates to this, as in is a new magazine coming, or has any more thought at least been put into this?

This MOC is amazing! I never thought I would be properly interested in a train that's only 4 studs wide and can't operate, but it just looks so good. Great work!
-
Wow, that looks very good! I am particularly impressed by the way you've captured the look of the front end of the locomotives.

If you take an X-acto knife and cut off all the little tabs on the bottom the case can open. You can still reassemble it without gluing and it will actually stay assembled fairly well, but not as well as with those clips intact. There is plenty of stuff inside that could need cleaning, just be careful not to bend the thin metal pieces on the sides!

Very impressive locomotive! Tons of power and it looks like it runs very smoothly.

I really like the cab area and roof line. You've got some cool angles going on in there!

Those are possibly the best looking well cars I have ever seen! What is their overall width? Do they fit in well with 6-wide locomotives?
-
Those locomotives looks great! I had forgot how much I enjoyed Conrail's simple paint scheme.

I always like a creative build, making use of few pices. Nice work!

Wow, this locomotive looks great! It is always impressive seeing something that big successfully navigate curves and switches.
-
Excellent build! It is a nice little shunter, especially considering your limited parts supply, keep up the good work!

This is a great idea! From now on, all of my MOCs with a battery box will have a light for sure. -
The layout is looking good! I highly suggest putting some time and money into ballasting the track; it looks much better if you do!

Wow, this looks amazing! The body lines are just wonderful. I can't decide if I like it better with or without the roof, it all looks so nice!!!

This model is simply amazing! To me, it is everything a trial truck should be; though, realistic, technical, including lots of neat functions, and having a very clean design.

Amazing model! The level of detail is excellent. I really like the lights; they are a nice detail that really finishes off the model.
-
I've just got to say; that layout looks great! Where are the battery boxes on the CSX locomotives, or are they 9V?
-
How does this do at the back of a train? I find that bobbers, if too light pop off of the tracks rather easily.
-
I attempted one probably about 5 years ago, but I have not pictures of it and it no longer exists; it was pretty bad. Anyways, I agree with you that it is a beautiful locomotive, definitely deserving of being done at high quality in LEGO. Good luck with it!

Those look very nice! I particularly like the roof detail and the window detail such as curtains. Great work!

I think anything that keeps Railbricks going in some form or another is a great idea, and I am willing to support it by buying issues or whatever the case may be. It will just be very exciting to see some kind of a return.

Sounds like the trip was a lot of fun! I guess that's another perk to being popular in the LEGO community.
