    The Lego Movie 2 sounds like the perfect wave for you and I’m happy you love this theme. Quite true admittedly. Maybe I’m narrowing it down to my personal interests! But to be fair my original point was there was a balance between many themes whereas TLM2 focuses on 2 or 3 themes instead of having a varied balance between many themes. Summer could always bring us more post-apocalyptic sets I’m sure hoping so! We’ve got two variants of benny in TLM2.

    Yes PickAbrick was and still is useless (sorry Lego). I remember looking on PAB and wishing it would get updated. This right here. I’m a MOCer as well, I buy most pieces from B&P because I can find the pieces all in one place opposed to spending loads on shipping.

    Thanks! This helps so much, I’ll remember this. I’d have to disagree with you. The first Lego Movie was balanced between Batman, Pirates, Girl, Misc etc. This second Lego Movie has too much of Unikitty/girl themes. It’s not balanced like all things should be.

    As soon as I read the first half to your post, I had the same thought about them getting released earlier. It isn’t until about January ish we see Speed Champion set images. Is there a press release anywhere? That might give us a clue. Considering the size, it’s definitely possible, I don’t know why the Designers would skip out on an opportunity like that.

    Oh wow, my bad. I had no idea, I thought it came out about 2015. Yes I agree Lego doesn’t want to drive away sales, hence some of the prices as well.

    That’s very true. I do find it interesting that they went for pump as opposed to spring. The other stud shooter, the one that shoots 1x1 round tiles looks awesome! I’m so happy Lego is investing in functional shooters, I think they brighten up sets. They are pioneering the sets. Loving these innovations.

    In none of the pictures do the rods actually leave the pump, I think you and I are correct in thinking the rods are like a “lightsaber toy”. I’m surprised they didn’t take the spring shooter path and let the rods leave the pump? Strange.

    Then don’t buy large orders. Also B&P hasn’t been going 4 years, it’s only been going 3 years. I understand your frustration though, we should try spamming their feedback and leave respectful but truthful feedback.

    The colour scheme definitely reminded me of Steampunk MOCs, I had a similar thought process with the engines as well, I guess Pirate Punk hodge lodge it is! Thanks for your reply btw @Digger of Bricks

    I’ve had issues before, I had to type the same batch of numbers 4 times, (1 of the times were my fault). Other than I’ve had a pretty good run with B&P. Lego is not going to open a BrickLink store and I don’t think they should either. BL is a 3rd party store, if Lego wants to sell pieces they’ll create their own which they’ve already done. All Lego needs to do is improve it, send Lego a detailed email with improvements etc if you want change, I’ve given feedback very recently.

    The bigger mini doesn’t really interest me so I’m going to look at the instructions (usually released 1-2 days after street date) and build them in any obscene colour I can. I think I’ll try black. I, too, have tried this before, I managed a 6-wide mini which can House two minifigures in the front, and if memory serves me correctly, two in the back as well. I still need to change the rear to create an accurate mini though. I did try a 5-wide but didn’t get past the bonnet hahaha although I’ve been working other things since I’ve just forgotten about it, I haven’t really given up.

    @Digger of Bricks I need your expert opinion please. Is 70834 (MetalBeard’s Motor trike) classed as Diesel Punk? Pirate Punk? Maybe even Steam Punk?

    Who said anything about a costume? A proper snowman would be awesome! Or what about a double sided head so you decide whether it’s a real snowman or a costume!
