  1. A D2C BatBoat is not as exciting as the Batmobile or Batmobile and not as iconic either. LEGO prefers vehicles over locations and they are in a theme of making movie vehicles into D2C's. Either one is a logical step forward.
  2. The D2C is either ‘66 Batmobile or Tumbler remake.
  3. It’s already been stated by leakers it’s a ‘66 Batmobile. The second normal set I HIGHLY doubt will be another Batmobile.
  4. It’s not 4+ either apparently so it should be a normal set as far as we are aware.
  5. This looks superb, it’s in my colour too! I think using the windscreen piece for the rear part of the cockpit looks great. The angles are well designed too In regards to uploading more pictures, you could upload the pictures to Flickr and post the link to them here and EB will automatically post the image and replace the link.
  6. Amazing MOC, awesome job! The television design looks great!
  7. And with Suicide Squad in 2016. I see your point but if LEGO is only releasing two normal DC sets this year, LEGO won't make them both Batmobiles and compete them against each other.
  8. No it won’t be, there won’t be two minifigure scale Batmobile sets on sale at the same time.
  9. I’m really excited for the 1966 Batmobile too! Speed Champions has came a long way since 2015 and has revolutionised angled and curved pieces, this is going to be fun providing it’s the not the exact same Batmobile from the Batcave set.
  10. Great job! I like how you put in Spider-Man in the first mech - unconventional I love it!
  11. Welcome to the forum! I’m glad you could join us I think some CS staff are more “lenient” than others, that’s the idea I’m getting with all these reported cases.
  12. This is going to be the first cheap West-era set we are going to get (that’s not a SDCC set)
  13. It looks nice! I think it’ll be a while before we see new licenses considering the summer sets.
  14. There’s some good talking points mentioned on this page. As far as I am aware restrictions are still in place meaning it’s still less people working on B&P. 1200 BF minifigure torsos is not really a lot. That’s 6 people buying max QTY of 200; I don’t think scalpers are causing the shortage.
  15. Now that’s an xtra set I would buy! Sign me up for all of it! I think the AC Shelby Cobra would be a nice addition too but doubt it would happen.
  16. We don’t actually know what the $50 SC contains so it could be a McLaren set. I wouldn’t take the rims as a hint to what we would see next though otherwise I think we would have seen it already.
  17. I wholeheartedly agree. The comics alone aren’t enough to keep this theme going unfortunately, I think the runtime is brilliant, I’m really looking forward to watching it on Thursday.
  18. My bad, I misread the vibe.
  19. Yes they are still going surprisingly. Literally no one here knows what’s coming out next year except maybe for a couple of The Batman sets. Please don’t make assumptions and start to “Doom-Say”.
  20. Potentially, no one is really sure. It feels like the rules are made up as LEGO goes along.
  21. Why not? LEGO has been using the same Batman Rebirth Minifigure for years.
  22. I’m excited but unfortunately we have to wait for 6 months
  23. Yeah they did that with Deadpool but then DP is associated with Adult humour so there's no way DP would come in a set. It could go either way Please forgive me for asking (presumably) an already answered question but the DC set in October, that's a normal non-Juniors set right? Based on comics and not any particular film?
  24. I think you're right. Warner Bros owns both Looney Tunes and DC so there isn't any licensing issues if it was to happen. With that being said, it seems most likely that it would end up as a comic con exclusive
  25. I love the simplistic look! The Spidey-sense is fantastic addition too!
