  1. Thanks everyone! I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I'd also like to thank Brickdoctor for the blog post! I've been getting a lot of comments about the photography. Does everyone enjoy the more textured/unedited background I've been using now? I used to 'edit' out the backdrops, but i recently stopped due to issues with the results. Leaving the backdrop unedited has worked for me in some photos (Such as this one), while I've struggled with getting a decent backdrop in others (Like this one). However I think I'll stick to it for now, untill I figure out how to do it better.
  2. It's gorgeous! I love it.
  3. This is by far the best thing I've ever seen you build! I absolutely love it. The Chibi characteristics are so evident in this creation.
  4. Happy New Year! by Walter Boy, on Flickr Happy New Year everyone! Hope you have a good one.
  5. Here's my humble contribution to this awesome community build! Speeder Bike Chase by Walter Boy, on Flickr If we do another one soon, I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for Episode I. Would love to make a scene from that.
  6. Speeder Bike Chase by Walter Boy, on Flickr 74-Z Speeder Bike by Walter Boy, on Flickr Speeding Across The Lush Forests of Endor by Walter Boy, on Flickr Speeding across the lush terrain of Endor, Luke Skywalker attempts to chase down an Imperial Scout Trooper who has become aware of his presence. Built for the Eurobricks Star Wars Episode VI Community Build. The speederbike designs were inspired by Legohaulic and Larry Lars.
  7. I'm hoping to get mine up tomorrow. It is an Endor scene, so it is quite the opposite of what I built last CB, which was a Hoth scene. Anyway, loving the builds so far!
  8. I'm still working on the photographing phase of mine. I want to do a specialized shot, but it's not turning out too well. Anyway, from the preview photo this looks interesting! I hope it turns out how you want it. I can honestly say, I'm really liking the creations from this community build. And to comment on the merged post(s?), yeah that's unusual. However, nobody's perfect. Was probably an honest mistake.
  9. I want to chime in on doing lower lighting. You should try to recapture the lighting from the film. That would look incredible with this!
  10. I received the Black Pearl for Christmas! It is my first pirate ship ever! it's very breathtaking for being my first one, although it does have flaws. I'm considering rebuilding it from the ground up, with a much more accurate look and structure.
  11. Great job! I love the (somewhat) accurate look to it! You really put some thought into this.
  12. Wonderful work! I love how you built the three wise men. Merry Christmas.
  13. Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Hope you're having a good Christmas.
  14. Awesome! I love your rendition of the ship. It's quite lovely. I love the work you did on the hull.

Impressive job AC. Love your mocs!
  16. Great job! Everything is well built and composed, and the clear and crisp photography really helps aid in telling the story. I can't wait to get my community build up now!
  17. Milk And Cookies by Walter Boy, on Flickr Little Timmy always wanted to catch a glimpse of Santa, and now was his chance! Santa had arrived, and was sampling the milk and cookies. Merry Christmas everyone!
  18. Thanks CopMike and Siegfried for an exciting raffle! I had fun.
  19. Christmas With The Family by Walter Boy, on Flickr Vader decided to have the family over for Christmas. While everyone had a good time, Luke wasn't exactly thrilled about his Christmas present. While the following scene isn't canon or possible in the Star Wars universe, I figured I would make it just for fun. The Christmas tree was inspired by Blake's awesome tree design. Thanks Blake. Merry Christmas everyone!
  20. That's a sweet coincidence! Congrats!
  21. It looks beautiful! Keep up the good work.
  22. This is good news! Thanks for sharing Derfel Cadarn. Can't wait for a new wave of sets!
  23. Impressive job on the sail barge, especially the way you shaped it. This is a great contribution to the community build!
  24. There certainly are some great contributions to this community build! My creation has been collecting dust for quite some time, as I've been waiting on my Bricklink order to arrive with the required parts to finish it. However I hope to have mine uploaded soon.
  25. Well said! Some people don't realize what an amazing tool Lego can be for creating and building. The possibilities are endless.
