  1. Sign me up! I'm hoping to do a scene from Watto's shop, Duel of The Fates, or maybe something else entirely! We will see.
  2. Nice job! I always loved his Airspeeder. The design is sleek.
  3. Ditto! His stuff was great, especially that swamp monster.
  4. What a lovely scene! As soon as I found out you were on Flickr I added you as a contact! The attention to detail and care with which you built this is incredible. It's so cozy and homey, yet it's the perfect tavern for Pirates! Great job.

    Primate Rock

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Wow thanks Big Cam!
  6. [pid][/pid]202C X Marks The Spot! by Walter Boy, on Flickr Upon reaching a patch of land inside the cave, the crew got out and dug at the specified location, hoping to unearth a trunk of treasure. Eventually the crew members dug far enough and hit a solid object. "Treasure!", they all exclaimed. Captain Bananabreath commanded it be opened. After the lock was shot off, the treasure chest was opened. At last! Treasure! Gold! Riches beyond belief! ...Or so they thought until the contents of the chest were revealed to them! "Bananas?" they all declared, perplexed and dazed. "Oh yes! Rich, golden, delicious bananas! These are the greatest bananas in the entire Caribbean, ripe and ready to be eaten. A fair share for all the crew members! Eat up me hearties!" replied the Captain as he enjoyed the spoils of his treasure. Well, that's the end! Rather short and sudden, but I hope you've enjoyed it. This entire process was rather short, taking (off and on) 2 weeks to build all the scenes and roughly 1 week to photograph. Thanks to everyone who took the time to follow it.
  7. Amazing piece of art Mood! I could tell right off that it was a Terminator.
  8. [pid][/pid]201B Primate Rock by Walter Boy, on Flickr Here we are! Primate Rock!" shouted Captain Bananabreath. His newly hired crew rowed the longboat toward the towering skull-like cave. "We should have just enough clearance to pass beneath the jaws of it!" declared the good captain. "Within this monstrosity, we should find our treasure." One more part to go!
  9. Thanks everyone! I will admit this is an unusual storyline. I came up with it on a whim, and then it took around 2 weeks to build all the scenes. It's rather simple actually! All I did was take a 1x1 plate and hook into the hollow bottom of the arch piece. For this scene I had about 4 1x1 plates hooked beneath a 1x6x1 arch piece. Lego's arch pieces usually have a big enough gap beneath them to fit in studs. This allows for a good variety possibilities! Sadly however, I think I read somewhere that the currently produced arch pieces don't fit studs beneath them anymore, which is very disappointing.
  10. [pid][/pid]201C An Adventure Brews by Walter Boy, on Flickr It was an evening just like any other. Drinks were served, tales were told, and good times were had. This tavern was just like any other drinking joint one would find around the port. It was nothing special. Then, it happened. The tavern door swung open as he let himself in. The noise and ambience of the tavern was quickly halted to an abrupt stop. Legends were told of him. Tales of his adventures were often discussed. Usually these adventures involved vast treasures of immense wealth. It was indeed him... It was Captain Bananabreath, the last real Gorilla pirate of the Caribbean. "I'm in need of a crew, for I wish to partake in an adventure of great riches and golden treasure." The second part is coming soon! Stay tuned.
  11. I was hoping for the Flying Dutchman, but I'm guessing that's unlikely now. Lego really seems to like cutting down lines in the prime of their life. Oh well, here's hoping the line get's revived for 2013-14 if a new film is released.
  12. I just received mine today! Thanks so much CopMike! My mystery fig was Admiral Piett, the one I was hoping for!
  13. Nice little scene. The minifigure posing is what makes it for me.
  14. The werewolf looks different compared to his collectible minifigure counterpart. I find this to be a good thing, because neither of the minifigures will seem obsolete when someone wants to use one over the other.
  15. All the minifigures are spectacular! They're all great, although Sam looks slightly off. I'm not sure what it is. He's still a good minifigure, however.
  16. Those are some great techniques! Best of luck in the competition.
  17. Although it is slightly 'clean' it's still a great build. He should keep building if he enjoys it! I'd love to see more creations from him in the future.
  18. Teaser by Walter Boy, on Flickr A Pirate project, that is! I hope to share it with you all soon! In the meantime please enjoy this grainy teaser photo.
  19. I'm starting to really get excited about this line! Legolas just sealed the deal for me.
  20. Hi Gabe! Love your creations, especially the ones showcased on your about me page. Great stuff. :D

  21. Hi Gabe! Love your creations, especially the ones showcased on your about me page. Great stuff. :D

  22. There are some great details on this thing. I too, love the feet design.
  23. I agree! While the details aren't as modern and up to date as most MOCs these days, you've created something I'd love to build and play with. All the little areas and features look so fun and nifty. Great job!
  24. Maybe she thought that he promoted bad grammar with his unusual speech patterns. A bad influence, Yoda is!
  25. I can see some influence from castle in this creation. It's very lovely.
