Thanks everybody!

I had more stones in the road, but it just started to look too busy. And it being a well traversed road made me think to remove the stones where the wheels would ride.

I got the inspiration for this simple gate design from this picture below and the moose from the Lakeside Lodge set. I just had to put them together to make a gate for Bjorr and Edd to finally reach Loksvika. https://www.google.n...465630979334724 And here they are, passing under the Moosehead gate, spring is coming to an end and everything is going full on before the autumn storms kick in. Bjorr: " Look Edd, Moosehead gate, just a little more and were home! I'll drop you off at your place and I'll send the herbalist to you as soon as possible." Edd: *mumbles something incomprehensible. Bjorr: " This fever sure brought you down low, never seen anyone as pale as you, you're almost as pale as our Moosehead here." Edd: "..." Bjorr: " Anyway, next trip we make, we'll make camp somewhere else. If a mosquito can take you down, I don't want to know what would happen to me." Edd: * Coughs and moans as the cart bounces over a rock. Bjorr: " And we'll bring two horses, this load is getting pretty heavy. P.S. The battery on my camera died, so I had to take pictures with my phone. Camera loves me...the bastard.

Hi, I had some questions about building ships. Do I have to build existing ships or can I just make them up myself?

AoM Tower phase 2:

My 2nd build for AoM tower. I ordered some more parts from bricklink, so things should start looking better and better, I hope I'm not the only one thinking that. We continue the story with Bjorr and Edd nearing Loksvika. They pass the Loksvikan lookout and come across a loksvikan farmer and his newly traded pig. Edd:" Thank the gods! I need my bed... never felt this horrible since I got beat up by my half-brother. I need a good ale and a week's worth of sleeping." Bjorr: "Maybe the fish got bad when it saw it was snowing, maybe the mosquito just stung a White Woman and brought something bad upon you." Edd: "I don't believe those ghost stories, they are just meant to scare children." Bjorr: "Just like giants don't exist, right?" Edd: "I shouldn't have mentioned my brother..." Bjorr: "Anyway, seems like Grisar got a good deal at the market, Hey Grisar! Must've had something of of great worth to trade, looking at that pig you bring back. Grisar: "Aye, some fellow came by and said he spoke the word of some new Lord, I said I didn't need no word from some Lord, just something to get me some new pigs in my pen. He told me he knew how to make glew? You boil the bones and such and then, Oh, I shouldn't tell you that probably, might be you'll be buying all the pigs once you know. Bjorr: "Glew? What uses does it have if it's so valuable? Grisar: "Apparently you glew things like wood together so you don't need as much rope to tie things down. The shipwright had heard about it and bought the whole lot right off me." Bjorr: "Seems useful, might even be the boats survive a rough night at sea when we sat sail." Edd: "No boats, please, my stomach is as bad as it gets, no boats, maybe some boars though." without figs: Thanks for watching and C&C is always welcome!

OK, I wanted to post them each separate from the other, just in the same thread for story purposes. So not 2 mocs in the same picture. I guess that's fine then as well?

Sorry for the double post... But is it allowed to post multiple AoM builds in one post? For story purposes, and then maybe post them in a separate thread if that has to be done for them counting towards AoM?

I really like it! Both the story and the build! I'm not sure I like the bley though. But then again, I wouldn't know what other color to use to break up the colouring of the walls :s

Bjorr and Edd head back home to Loksvika after completing their purchases in Ogelsvale. Their cart fully loaded with weapons and armor, they make a stop at a cave to hide from a nearing mid summer snowstorm. While roasting thier fresh catch, Edd is stung in the neck by some pesky mosquito, or so he thinks... Bjorr:"Did you expect snow this time in summer? I guess the rumors about the world going colder are true". Edd: "Well, seeing as this is Mitgardia, it doesn't really suprise me, although snow at this low altitude is indeed unexpected". Bjorr: "At least we were able to spear some fish before it will hit in full, those clouds looked real threatening. Edd: "Yeah, some good fish is always welco... Arghh, bloody mosquitos! Since when did mosquitos grow so big they pierce MY skin?" Bjorr: "They might get bigger as to survive the cold? I don't know, I'm not some bug expert, although I heard some larvae and grasshoppers are edible if you fry 'em." Edd: "Blegh, you won't catch me eating those buggers." Meanwhile in the back of the cave in a dark corner. Drow: "Hmmm, come my little friend, lend me your poison. This should get fun. HAHAHA." The drow puts the dart in his blowpipe and blows as hard as possible. No sound left the globe of darkness and silence he put over himself. With the job done, the drow levitated back to the hole in the ceiling and disappeared into the dark. Thanks for looking and cc is always welcome. P.S. Don't mind my photo taking abilities, I am pretty new to this and and using my neighbors ( who is a professional photographer) old camera. I haven't gotten around to asking him how it works best, the camera has to many functions for me to understand haha. P.P.S. Here are the shots from the front of the moc as requested :) and a shot of my brickbuild Edd, as normal Edd wouldn't fit in the cave without his head scraping the ceiling, and it just looked weird in his static position. Just received my bricklink order:) I didn't know those Viking boat pieces would be so big haha, just need the middle sections and I can build the boat I wanted to build since I saw Vikings on TV and found out Lego had a Viking theme in my dark ages

My third and final moc for AoM Shop. I started this moc some time ago, and it's what made me decide to join GoH, after looking here from time to time. I really enjoyed building the door and "windows" and the chimney hole. anyway, on with the story! Bjorr and Edd go see Bjorr's cousin Wullfit for some new steel before they head back to Loksvika. Outside, a dwarf is pondering on which helm to buy and the guard is guarding, like guards do while on guard duty. Bjorr: " It's been too long since I last seen Wullfit, last time he was still his dad's shop help, now he owns the place!" Edd: " yeah, lucky him. Got himself a nice shop and plenty of good looking ladies to look upon." Bjorr: " Well, let's head inside and see what he's got for us." Thanks for watching and cc is always welcome!

Nice wall, looks quite natural! The one leaking in the river sure had one too many i guess :P and should've gone earlier, if it's this yellow you either drink too less or don't go frequently enough haha :)

What do you use the trans yellow and red for? And I know what you mean by overextending your monetary capabilities ;) I would've liked to order lots more as well. Oh the troubles of starting a new collection... P.s. by bulls you mean cows?

I only need to take pictures during the day of my AoM store phase 3 and I'd be able to put it up here. I'm still struggling to get the correct lighting. I should also get my first bricklink order in this week. Not a big order, just some food and trans lightblue round plates. :)
