AoM shop phase 2: Ogelsvale market and blueberrie pie

Thanks garmadon! I build the well some time ago and put it aside because I really liked it. I actually had the idea to put on some tiles, but at the time I was building a rather large town. Then I thought I'd be better off building something smaller and more detailed and joined Eurobricks :) Seeing as the well would fit so well in moc I just stuck it in there and forgot about it haha. Need to take my time and really finish a moc before posting. It's quite addictive putting something online for others to see and comment on :) -

AoM shop phase 2: Ogelsvale market and blueberrie pie

The background will be smoother once I finish the attic. I had to put in a floor, but got stuck at the laundry machines. So everything is still a mess. And thanks LittleJohn and Captain Braunsfeld, I try to add our colors to all my Mitgardian mocs -
My second MOC for AoM Shop, this time phase 2. First moc: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=132281 Bjorr and Edd have set up shop at the Ogelsvale market, across from the local well. This is the best spot at the market, a large open area where lots of people can see and smell the cheese. Bjorr: Here you go Grünn, our finest cheese, covered in a nice ash layer to keep it from going bad. Grünn the Grey: Thank you Bjorr, This will go well with Lugga's ruby red, such an elegant wine that is, have you had a taste? Bjorr: Not from her latest... Oargh! Those pesky children! Oh well, At least he's got a good taste, and I haven't been a saint when I was that age. Grünn the Grey: HA! I remember chasing you around when you stole those pies my wife Magdan made, speaking of which, she made you and Edd one. She's around here somewhere. In the meantime Magdan found Edd, which isn't that hard considering his height. Magdan: Here you Eddwold, for chopping those logs before last winter, we still have enough to last us till autumn. Edd: OH! is that blueberry pie? I should go and share this with Bjorr, he loves these! Magdan: He deserves it, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have any butter or milk to make them! Hope you guys like it! I had a good time building this. I'm doing my best to stay clear of the standard bases and build my own, I'm liking it so far :)

Just the trade wares, coin and some provisions for the road. Edd eats a lot, so he gets to pull the cart.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Sorry for the double post, but here is my first AoM store phase 1: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=132281 -
First Moc: Bjorr and his Half giant friend and guard Edd are crossing one of the many passes between the high mountains of Mitgardia. Bjorr has his cart filled with cheeses and goat milk brought from his farm in Loksvika and trades them at the markets of nearby villages. Bjorr: I'm so relieved we're not caught in a snowstorm yet. Edd: mrhmph, snow won't keep me from going anywhere I want to go, and neither do ruffians or wolves. Bjorr: I know, I know. It's why we're such a good team, you and I, ever since we were kids. Remember stealing those blueberry pies from the market? Good old times, haha. Edd: HA! I sure would like one o'them now! Bjorr: That won't be a problem for very long, look, there's Ogelsvale. I can see the market from here! And some pictures from just the cart and contents:

I have some more questions! Might be I'm not looking at the right places to find answers but, oh well, here they are :) 1. is it allowed to submit one moc for different AoM phases ? 2. Where can I start a village in Mitgardia? 3. I think I read some rules about village/town/city prerequisites? where did they go? :@ 4. I see some people take credit for UoP and stuff like that, is there any place where I can find out what which abbreviation means ? I guess that's it for now, I will post my character and stuff soon, just got to figure some stuff out first :) -
Nice! I would try and make the chimney open at the top. That way they won't be smoked out of the house when they start a fire :)

Thanks guys! Already have some cool ideas and mocs under construction. WIll post soon, so keep an eye out in the Mitgardia thread :)

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Haha, true. I'll post it along with some more pics and background story later on this week. -
Hey, my name is Robin(26) and I got out the dark age sometime last year. I've been eyeballing the GoH threads ever since and decided to join the fun. I've think I've got quite some Lego, but most of it is "old" also have the issue of having to keep my own new bought Lego separate from my old Lego since it's not only mine, but my brothers as well. I've got a son of 2 1/2 which enjoys Lego as much as I do and one more kid coming up. Next to my full time job as father, chef en gardener, I still find some time to build. All the building techniques are new to me as I've only built with Lego's the "normal" way. I'm a quick learner so I hope to get some nice Mocs up soon.

I hereby swear my allegiance to the realm of Mitgardia, to further fill our coffers with gold, and to protect Her with the best of my abilities. Also, I bring the gift of cheese, mainly goats cheese, also some cows, and milk, also mostly goats milk! To enhance our bones and make us stronger! And maybe some fermented goats milk, for when the real cold hits and you need something to keep you warm besides your lady wife! Hail Mitgardia!
