The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Nexo Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I know we're getting Hugo Strange in the CMF series, but would it kill TLG to release a Black Mask, Hush, and a Mad Hatter? -

Water Tower Place, Chicago. It's been a while since I was there, so I don't really know if they still have the parts. -

CMF Parts in "Make your minfiigure"
Nexo Bricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Started to see some Series 7, Series 9, and Series 16 parts pop up at the BAM station. -
We already have classic in 2018 too, so only the big red brick box should be for bricks.
-
I do believe the red box will be a bunch of bricks, while the other four sets are for Space, Town, Pirates, and Castle. Besides that, I also do believe we should get another new town square for City in the summer of 2018.

I like how the Creator Vehicles are moving towards being minifigure friendly. - Daredevil Plane looks good in my opinion, I also like the Captain America torso on the fig. - Hovercraft thing looks like a neat minifig scale vehicle. - Couldn't care less for the other three vehicles. - Dragon isn't exciting. - LOVE the Surfer Van, includes good beach scenery, a nice umbrella print, and a volkswagen like feel to it. - "Funhouse" is the new city building for 2018. It looks alright, but I'd have to find a use for it in a Residential area, or a small business area.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Nexo Bricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
- Tatooine is a great army builder for Tusken Raiders and Jawas, and it has a decent build and an astromech droid, but the lack of a Sandtrooper is disappointing. - Clone Wars battle pack on the other hand is amazing for me, as I have the Republic Tank, and I've been waiting to expand my clone army without forking over a ton of money. I like the inclusion of the Jedi, but I feel It would've been better just to include one. The build is alright, allbeit it looks like a scaled down Republic Gunship. - I've been waiting for Yoda's hut for a while and as a $20 set, it is good. I like the inclusion of Dagobah Luke and a cheap way to get Yoda. The hut is a bit too light for my taste but that's alright. I do hope they add more natural 'swampy' elements to the build. - Grievous Speeder is a nice set. I like that they're still doing CW sets and the build is nice. I do have a Grievous from the wheel bike, but the inclusion of Mace seals the deal for me. - We are getting two TLJ sets on the cheaper side, so I'm hoping the $30 has a Luke. - Han Solo Microfighters have interesting designs, so I'm curious to see how the actual sets turn out. - Never really cared for the constraction figures, but BF and Maul are must haves. Not as strong of a wave, but I do like what we're getting. -
Right on the far left side of the Helicopter set, you can slightly make it out.
-
As someone who is planning on putting a mountain or forest area into their city, I do find these sets quite good for the most part. - I can barely tell what the $7 set entails, but it does have a neat Police Motorcycle and a small build of mountain scenery. - The starter set is basic, but has a nice Police Build, Beehive piece, and a Log for the criminal. - The $20 set has two decent sized boats that actually look good. - Don't care about the Helicopter, but I like all the criminal parts of the set, and the moose. - Also don't care about the set with the big 4x4, doesn't look great. - The station looks pretty good, and is one of the very few stations I'd actually buy. Another main draw here is the criminal with the tree-trunk costume. Overall, the police wave is much better than I anticipated this time around.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Nexo Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I haven't seen Lance V Lightning anywhere besides the Legoland Discovery Center. What happened to it? -
I'm decently Impressed this wave. The Justice League sets from 2014 were fun, so I'm glad to see a return of the comic JLA sets. It makes sense as these will come out hot on the heels of the new movie. Still bothers me how besides the DCEU Superman, we just have the comic based one. Don't get me wrong, I love the design, but they just keep using it over and over. I do like the combo they made with the hair, face, and torso/legs. Krypto is really good, and the Scooby-Doo mold is perfect. It makes me want to pick up the Brainiac set now for Supergirl. Lobo is an amazing figure and the hairpiece really suits him. The Kryptonite prison is alright, nothing special. I do like the rod pieces with the electricity molding on it. Great new pieces. Lobo's Spacehog is big, and has quite a bit of trans green, but it's not horrible, just a bit too big. Lex's Mech is a huge improvement over the last one and looks very nice, just need to switch out some of the gold for some green and purple. Batman's glider is average, nothing special there. I'm glad we're getting Rebirth Batman AND Rebirth Wonder Woman, both look amazing, just wish Bats had his Purple and Black cape. Firestorm is also a really cool figure, even though the fire piece likely cannot be removed. I'm glad we're getting Cheetah, but there should be a bit more detail and/or molding on her. Lex looks nice and I'm glad to finally have a power armor version of him. Cyborg's Helicopter is a surprisingly good Lego Helicopter, and I like the use of trans red and grey. Just wish that the piece they used on the bottom was brick built. Killer Frost's Snowplow is pretty nice, but small, and kinda useless. Her figure is spot on besides that awful hairpiece, and I'm so darn happy to finally get a Reverse Flash figure, he looks great. Flash seems to be the same, which is kind of annoying. I do like the yellow versions of the power blast though. Overall, It's a good set. I am curious to see what the things the villains are holding turn out to be too. This wave to me is one of the best ones in a while, and is quite affordable for me, so I'm very glad about that. EDIT 1: Flash is in fact new, and is the Rebirth version, so that's neat.

Curious to see how they'll do Mining.

Is it alright if I start a topic for 2018 City? We're long overdue for a couple different City sub-themes to return.

The anniversary of Town is this year, so a new City Center is a given,

LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion

It could be released to VIP's in August, -
My opinion on these: - I really like the Atlantis set. The build looks awesome in my opinion, but kind of small. The guards and Aquaman are awesome figures and the Parademons look nice. -The Knightcrawler looks really cool in my opinion and I like the Flash fig even though it's a tiny bit lacking. I am hoping one Batman has the armor plates from the image. - Flying Fox looks like a scaled up Iron Skull sub, I like it, but it's not exciting to be honest. The Batmobile is a bit of a letdown. Cyborg is nice, Wonder Woman is alright, and Superman doesn't have any variation which is also a bit of a letdown (not even duel molded boots?) Steppenwolf is nice though, I like him. - I also like how each set has one Motherbox. Which is kind of cool. I will be getting all of them, but might wait a few weeks on the Flying Fox.

The small sets are typically the best. After getting the Wonder Woman set and based on how much I love it, I'm super excited to see pictures for these. Especially Battle of Atlantis! Nightcrawler is likely a Batmobile or a villain vehicle? Also curious to see if there's going to be a Superman minifigure.

For those who order Brick Loot, the new box comes with a really nice custom Wally West Flash minifigure. It's also weird to me how we're not getting any real comic sets this year.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Nexo Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Picked up the GCPD pack from the LEGO Store today. Great figures but the signal build is a bit lacking. Couldn't find the last two CMF's I needed but I am going back next week for the promotion and another poster. Might have to order the Kiss Kiss Tuxedo keychain though. -
There are prelim pics of Fun at the Beach and the Bus Station out too. They both look great!

Notice to all of you getting Arkham Jokers: Newer shipments contain the Glossier Hair mold compared to the light green from earlier ones. -

The GCPD pack looks amazing! Great figs, and a nice Bat-Signal build. Also picked up the Clayface set today. Enjoyable build, and it looks really good in person. -

PDM is nice. Hoping for Blight, Crazy Quilt, Condiment King, Gentleman Ghost, and Sailor Joker too.
