  1. Does Tor-An wear the battle armor and cape?
  2. It's a set nonetheless. What's funny is that I have the Quinjet but haven't built it yet. I bought the minifigures from the quinjet, but then I bought the actual set later on from being a completionist. Let's see what the fuss is all about. I knew that the older sets came with the newer batman cowl, so I was amazed when the Catwoman cycle had the blue batman cowl design!!! It makes me want to purchase the sets in their original/modified form since I guess So much fun with minifigues just like the Funhouse escape!
  3. Black Adam, Black Manta, Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, Electro, Sinestro and a Captain America with a head like "the flash" minifigure seen in batman 2: DC Superheroes There's some hoping.
  4. Check your local Toys R Us. I went to the Lego Store today and no signs of the 2013 Summer LOTR sets, then went to Toys R US and lo and behold they have them in stock, all of them. I just want the Wizard battle and Gandalf the white out of those sets.. hehehe Oh my wfie and everyone knows of my Lego addiction, in fact she condones me traveling two hours for the atlanta lego store back in the day, but since I moved to texas, san antonio opened up one so it's only 20min away. At first she was against it, now when I am mad at her, she asks me, if she should buy me a lego set or something...
  5. I find it weird that my local toys r us has the Castle set but my Lego Store doesn't(they don't know about it coming out, and YET they have the smaller Castle Lego Sets not just the big castle), although tempting, but I don't know, I am a Kingdoms fan more than anything and just don't dig the flashy and fantasy theme I guess.
  6. Are these keychains old news? Just haven't seen them on the lego website yet but found them at the local lego store!
  7. My top 3 are: 1. Akham Asylum, is just too fun 2. Batcave (*nuff said) 3. Artic Chase (White Batman, Aquaman and Mr. Freeze)
  8. Mine are: 1-Black Batman 2-Superman 3-Aquaman 4-Wonder Woman 5-War Machine 6-Iron Man *Heartbreaker* 7-Mr. Freeze 8-Spiderman 9-Joker 10-Magneto I wish I could fit them all, but if I had the SDCC I would rate Shazaam and Green Lantern on top!
  9. Wow I am building this set and a piece came out inverted!!! 4211066 teeth came one side good the other backwards!
  10. Honestly they did an allright job at packing, I have moved several times and had decent-to excellent moving services and the last one was over the top, I have at least 20,000usd in toys(not just lego's) so I care uttermost about any dents or scratches to the boxes, and those guys put everything in oversized carton boxes with paper all around them that way they are not lying around or get lost, plus they inventoried everything in the boxes with prices marked to the side, you must account for everything because they will play the crazy card if not inventoried up right, but that's just my experience, let's hope yours is the same, you should at least try to pack them in a bigger 5'by3' box and by the size of your pictures like about five of those boxes, I would have hated the feeling of me loosing a single item rather than a whole box full of 30 toys and stuff, but either way Welcome to America and hope for the best, where yes Lego's are way cheaper and maybe head out to SDCC to pick up them rare minifigs if you have a chance!!! PS the reason I say about packing them up in big boxes, is that when moving companies deliver, your household goods ain't the only thing in their big 18 wheelers and they could mix up some boxes, it didn't happen to me, BUT the driver of the truck did delivered me an extra 50" led tv that wasn't mine, but he thought it was mine(i have four bigger ones anyway hehe If I stayed my mouth shut I could have used it as an extra monitor)! Another suggestion you could do if you store them in big boxes, is that you can label them as a room that way you know you got everything like "study room" box 1, or study room box 2 and stuff. The best insurance proof you could do also is to take pictures of everything, boxes, container contents, everything, that way if you do claim insurance you have proof of what's worth and the bank can't try to say you don't own that many Lego hehe
  11. I went to the San Antonio Texas Opening and they had a lot of events, like Opening day tshirt give aways, R2-D2 help build a huge one event, and what's funny I called during the week and they told me they had been opened for two weeks already and I was tracking their opening day to be this weekend, but when I went to the store yesterday they did tell me it was their grand opening, so I take it these last two weeks were their soft opening, but either way not bad, that store was full out of all the stores in the mall. All the little kids who saw it from a distance where like "mommy look a Lego store" lol
  12. I went to the new Lego Store brand new opening in San Antonio, Texas and since they were stocked with everything I was grabbing all the lego sets that I was missing(one thing I hate about Lego stores is that they have no shopping carts XD) So I am walking around with the Arkham Asylum, Quinjet, all the iron man 3 and man of steel sets and a White House set, and a Lego Helper comes up to me and tells me about their promotion which I knew what it was, but she told me they were out of stock since the store was balls to walls full by eleven in the morning(partly to do with the R2-D2 Help-Build thing going on around the corner) and the line to the cashier out the door, so after waiting with all those boxes in line for like 45 minutes and like 25 kids coming up to me and asking me who they were for, that they were going to be happy kids and what did I do to purchase them all questions, and having an old man with a VW Bug set asking me about the Lego Sets I am about to purchase, I finally come up to the register already ready for my "Lego" Store Opening T-shit which you get for purchases over 50 or more dollars, and the cashier pulls out of nowhere an Iron Man polybag to my amusement and I was like they told me they ran out of those, and then she goes on to say, well I think we found some boxes, and finally blurts out, well you are spending big here today so you deserve it!!! Thanks! I have been to four lego stores(orlando, atlanta, new york and this one) and so far this is my new favorite, the only thing is that the crew is so new they have no clue when they stock up on items for their June releases.... I know in Atlanta Discovery Mall they had their stock two weeks before the actual release and the Orlando is like a mini LegoLand, but the one in New York although the biggest lego store I have been to, is also the one that barely had any legos at all since they sell out quick, plus they had a lot of pick a brick tanks around the store and I was mouth watering some of them because I need those bricks but they were for display only... oh well.
  13. WHen is the Jor-El Promo? I'm planning a huge purchase of legos soon... hehe
  14. Hot toys is also releasing a War Machine "In-Between" armor figure that wasn't seen in the movie...
  15. I don't know about you guys, but this line is extremely successful, I mean even the minifigures alone sell the sets, everytime I go to toy shops I see the superheroes line always low on stock, the one time I see all the sets together is when they stock up on items for a big weekend and stuff so I don't know, if they play their cards right, release a Hall of Justice set or Hall of Doom, and use the minifigures seen in the lego batman set it could work for the DC line, but the marvel sets I would think are motivated by movies, and with thor, captain america, the wolverine movie, and the upcoming days of future past coming up we might see a mash up of xmen, but please no more spiderman... I think we have the basic minifigures I think... I don't know, the DC sets seems more elaborate than the marvel I would think.
  16. How dare you say this??? Lego games are my guilty pleasure. With the release of DC superheroes on iOS(Lego Batman 2 for iphone/ipad with polished graphics and the JLA mode from the portable games for 4.99) they changed up the formula now that instead of easily earning the red bricks and characters, they want you to buy gold bricks to unlock half of the characters, and the character roster is increased to 80+ now... WIth that said, the Iron Man Patriot figure is the way to go, but kind of unrelated to the marvel games I think... I have a feeling that we will see the many iron man suits in the game more than they exist in minifigures currently... Man I mean the games are great and all, but I am still hoping we sill see more DC sets other than batman, in the near future... I wish the Clark kent mini figure came with an alternate chest piece without the superman custome underneath.. hehehe
  17. ] I really don't see the hate either way, they always get lego sets earlier than Toys R Us and are at least a couple of cents cheaper than the lego store... It's the other alternative for Toy's R'Us being too crazy expensive on their toys... Plus you can bargain the cashier for damaged lego boxes... hehehe I like that IP is not a comic con exclusive, but I am starting to wonder if they are going to be more summer sets for the superheroes line...
  18. Could you plead your case with Lego about the missing minifigs? I know the Lego website has support that helps you get your missing pieces or minifigs. Cross your fingers, I did this with some sets that had missing pieces and they helped me out.
  19. So Mandarin!? really what a disappointment although I have spoiled the movie by reading the plot, I cannot say what a shame... a lot of people are going to be disappointed!!! XD
  20. Maybe its because I suck at navigating this forum, or maybe why the gallery is locked away from me to see, but is there a way to see pictures of some of the member's collections? I'm dying to see some sets in someone else is home or just the boxes or the way they have them setup...
  21. A new Superman Trailer was released (Man of Steel Trailer 3) that shows General Zod, wearing the armor and some of the sets look alike machines, and after pausing the trailer I have to say that the Battle of Smallville ship should have been a bit bigger XD...
  22. If they release this minifigure in the SDCC, I will seriously buy plane tickets for the event before they sell out... But Honestly these lego iron man minifigures is starting to feel like Hot Toys...
  23. There was a study done that spoiling a movie before watching it, makes it more enjoyable...
  24. Sweet Jesus San Antonio!!! No way I was just thinking about that the other day... Now it's true woohoo, my twins and I are in for a treat, I moved from the one in the Atlanta and miss it, so this will make up for it...
  25. That's how I feel with the super heroes sets, I build them up and then just store them, I'm sure if I gave them away the kid would have a blast.
