  1. OMG WHYYYYY Green latern is a must!!! great another 1000usd bucks for all four figures... life sucks. but either way as a lego representative told me earlier the other day: about eight LEGO sets are sold every second! So it is safe to say, all SuperHeroe sets sell too well in fact.
  2. It's like Wonder Woman's Invisible plane prototype, it's like half and half, I wouldn't be surprised if the invisible woman turns out to be part of SDCC limited edition minifig.
  3. Just take off the hair and bam, right there... Eric Savin lol
  4. Does James Badge Dale count? He was the extremis soldier in Iron Man 3, and he also has a minifigure in The Lone Ranger as Dan Reid!
  5. Finally after my rookie skills using bricklink led me to a store, I managed to get the courage to build this laboratory!!! I bought a lot of extra stickers for this set, still awaiting the malibu mansion stickers for the extra hall of armor scans. LOL I am not a MOC so I had to make due with the lego pieces I have. Either way the only thing I modified on this bad boy was just the middle stand where I made it rotate with the piece from the malibu mansion...
  6. Leo Crimson, yes I tried almost anything to find something, even if I narrow to set number, I get multiple resutls, but thanks for the google suggestion, it goes without saying about the search function. This happens on all forums though, some harder to search than others.
  7. Thank guys for the heads up, but unfortunately the review I am looking for is not listed in there, with that said, this should be pinned to the top for easier finding!!!
  8. Any news on the Lego anything? SDCC is next week!!! Man I wish I could go, I am having SuperHeroes withdrawal, it's stressing to walk in a Lego store and look at all the sets that you own, and wanting to buy more sets.
  9. Hi, I was curious to know if it would be possible to sort topics on this forum into a specific group like reviews, I have a hard time finding reviews from different sets, and it would be neat if they can be sorted out into a subforum, for easier indexing or something... thank you either way
  10. That ebay figure looks like a custom mini fig, looks way off for some reason. And he is selling it used. makes no sense. But he is from Mexico, so it might well indeed a factory leak lol
  11. GIven this fact I started buying extra decal sheets for my sets since Lego can't help you. Plus they are cheaper now than before!
  12. I don't even know what AFOL, MOC or any lego terminology mean so no.
  13. it's like a smoke/dark black stain on my lighter colored Lego that is hard to get off, it's not a dust problem, just that it's staining my bricks.
  14. The last one is great! Red skull and Elrond were portrayed by Hugo Weaving lol
  15. Hi guys,I have a couple of Ikea Display cabinets where I display my Super Heroes Set, usually I displayed my lego sets on the guest bed, but stored them after a month. I noticed that my castle from the kingdoms had black marks on the bricks, but I realized it came from the smoke of the candle my wife lit up next to it so it wiped off easily. Now I have my sets inside a cabinet, where the only thing that gets in is dust and it's hidden away from sunlight, so when I decided to take out the malibu mansion and the white house sets I realized that they were the same black marks on some bricks, but this time I couldn't wipe them off. I had them displayed for less than weeks and this is happening, anyone know what is the cause of this? Here's how I have them, I don't turn on the cabinet lights at all, just for this time: How I have them: Don't know if you can see the black streak on the curved tile The round dark bluish gray is full of black streaks around that work station, it's crazy If you look at the wall pieces you can totally see the stuff I am talking about it, I am scared and don't know what to do. One of the downsides of storing stuff at the bottom of the cabinet I guess, it acquires pieces of hair fly around in the air, I am never living in a house that has carpet ever! If this problem is been going on with the white pieces, I can't fathom what would happen with the rest of the colors... Any help on how to mitigate this issue would be great, I don't know where this is coming from and as you can see I try to keep them away from dirt/dust/and grime but I guess they are a magnet...
  16. That search button applies to Walmart also. Stores can't keep inventories up unless they stock items for a big planned holiday. I was looking for Captain America's Avenging cycle on all Walmarts around my area and according to the store online it says it's in stock in the store, then I travel to the store and realize half of what online says is not in stock. I even called and talked to a store helper and he verified it for me. What's funny is that I went above and beyond to search other than walmart and for some odd reason wanted to head out to Target and found a bunch of them so it was a lifesaver. But my moment is that when I bag my Lego sets into storage carefully making sure no piece is left out, and later on sometime decide to re build it and find that I am missing a brick. Don't know how, but it goes missing. Luckily I have a bin full of spare parts from my sets than covered this problem FOUR times!!! This applies to new sets also, I was building a couple of new sets and I guess I didn't empty out the bags good enough because sure enough it was semi stuck in the bag...
  17. It would be too much to see if I can modify the alien space ship to have stairs on the back.. hahah
  18. It depends, I went to a comic con last week, and found out they were booths of "brickLink" store fronts, I was like cool, extra lego pieces, then I turned around and saw their minifigs, and instantly realized how much they had and the quantity. For example I want to buy the Lego LOTR weather top set just for the black riders, but didn't want to fork over 49.99 for two, and I saw they had like 8 of them for 8.00 and was like score! I wasn't that much familiar with bricklink and how it worked, but my most important task was to get the four ninja turtles at affordable price and on ebay getting all four would have ranged from 50-100usd plus, I noticed the seller had all four for 11.50, but even then he gave me a discount and ended up paying 35 for all four, now that's a bargain, but they didn't come with weapons, even then he gave me directions to their actual store and walking in was like a dream come true, walls and walls of lego parts, I went crazy, nonetheless I managed to get their weapons for cheap. Plus he had the manuals for the extra sets so I could get their serial numbers of the manuals and tell Lego I am missing the alternate heads. I collect the Super Heroes line and have all the sets, but it can get expensive just to get one minifigure, sometimes the price of one figure outweighs the price of the set and that is crazy. Overall it's worth it, and sometimes you got to do what you got to do to find the cheapest way to get minifigures...
  19. But what I don't get if Fox owns everything, why would the marvel video game have lego versions of them?
  20. That is what I have been thinking, but some people have OCD I guess...
  21. My only complaint should be that the skateboard should be a hoverboard! bahahaha
  22. Is there a chance someone can PM for a favor in regards to the sets 79104 The Shellraiser Street Chase and 79105 Baxter Robot Rampage? thanks!
  23. I hate the TDK batman either way I can't stand they way they painted his suit gray rather than black.
  24. All I have to say is that now I know that I can place Jor-el in the Black Zero Escape guiding lois lane.
  25. I agree, although I recently saw that all of the SDCC minifigs ran up for a cool 1,200usd I must say if I had extra money I would buy them all, hell I love Shazam, Bizarro, Jean Grey and Black Spider man which I honestly thought it was Venom in the first place upon closer inspection. I do have some hope we will see them in the future that they can update them and not just have an overall basic design. I wouldn't mind an alternate Shazaam with a hoodie on... Maybe that's just me I am used to collecting more expensive toys than lego, but either way for something so small that couldn't get replaced easily it could be a bad investment.
