  1. I disliked the creator ship because of the 1x1 bricks, I wish they used their pre fab hulls. however the last one had a lot of possibilities. I sold it recently but I still have my leftover parts 😬
  2. The legs were going in and out of stock this whole week, just order what you can because in my case I got what I needed a week and half apart and they shipped it already 😬we shall see
  3. Thanks, literally got what I needed, those shield prices increased by a dollar imho 🤣🤣 thank you so much 😭 the parts I needed were still in stock thankfully
  4. I never waited months for the torsos, they always restock PaB weekly, the only real problem I usually have is with shields, those sell out instantly, usually here everyone is good about mentioned the restocks before they selling out again 😬
  5. They only look flat imho because of how the masts are taller than usual šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø
  6. I see them right now, but either the shields sold out or not ready yet, I’m stocking up on army gigs now
  7. Will the vending machine parts be sold in the US, I only see the elephant piece!? Damn I wanted the pirate flag but 78 bucks for the whole set is overkill wth they added me to a queue 😭Nvm shields are out of stock
  8. Oh snap, it’s that one, huh, somewhere I saw this set coming back this year. I’m not even citing a source, it just popped up on my lego feed for 2026, oh well, back to having zero expectations this year, I should had screenshot it when I saw it on my Feed
  9. Have you seen any other POTC mods? The only thing I want to do is make the captain’s cabin bigger and remove the rudder control/steering. I can honestly live with the cannon’s not moving in and out, but still though, it’s spacious inside but i feel it’s ruined by the ā€œPlayā€ features lolol Weren’t they saying something about how lego is mixing their stuff up recently?? I mean it kind of looks cool tbh, but it can easily be converted to something else. No new torso, so that’s a good thing. I’m scared on the minimum purchase for it thought, they usually lock them on 150$ above sets but yes, I want classic pirates and castle, but no leaks for this year on both ends tbh
  10. They leaked a future upcoming LEGO pirates GWP, a mix of Spooky and Pirates island themed set! No clue on the limits for it yet
  11. It reminds me of the kingdoms walls🤣 compared to the lion knights they seem tiny! Some turrets don’t fit minifigs with armor though After finishing the build I think the only problem I have, is the walls not overreaching to the back! They can’t leave the dining room exposed to the enemy
  12. I finally bought this set with the 2x vip points. i meant to get this back in August but got sidetracked by other hobbies. im happy its a new castle build but i think this set works, its just… tiny. tbh the 2021 had minor flaws that i modified, but so far this set just needs extra pieces, im digging some parts of the build, but idk. It just sucks that castle and pirates aren’t popular anymore and have to resort for grandiose sets every other year im Not a massive army builder either but the figure parts are on PaB im just curious if anyone did moc’s of this with just one set and see how it can be improved a bit, etc, so far its been nothing but 2-4 sets that expand this build.
  13. Dude I’m amazed also! Last time they had this fast turn around was back in 2021, now I’m looking for more parts to buy šŸ˜ I place small orders for new parts so it doesn’t get delayed but now I’m wishing I did the opposite!
  14. Fastest turn around for both best seller and standard brick order! My November 30th order of the lower torso from the new castle creator set arrived!!!! Everything is marked shipped in the lego website and have a bunch of parcels from EWR Nordic DHL and UPS about to be delivered within the next few days! Hell my GWP’s haven’t arrived yet, but my first standard order arrived! Perfect timing especially for the holiday rush!
  15. For everyone who has the death star, has anyone not realized that there's really no places to stand for the figures? the entire surface is 90% full of flat tiles. I legit ordered a bunch knob with tiles to expand my stormtroopers and place my soldiers better. How come no one's talking about the 2x4 tiles with two knobs that can barely fit two figures let alone four face to face!!!?
  16. Called Lego and told me my order from that period is being held up by customs. Haven’t heard anything since the
  17. Correct me if I’m wrong but smart brick is literally the same stuff used for the super Mario sets?
  18. For that price yeah, one could argue is that 38 figures make the set worth it. However new sets will always command like 45-50% of the price of the actual set just for the figures. In some sets it's just better to buy the set out right. For the longest time Sauron was going for like 250 bucks by himself alone. There's alot of people that I talked to that planned to resell the death star and keep the figs because even then, the set itself is worth a good chunk of change. As a seller tbh, that 35lbs will cost a lot for it to ship, I'm not willing to lose money on shipping costs alone. I'm not planning on selling it but it's just an interesting angle, I guess. This set grows on me I guess. It's the ultimate "barbie" styled playhouse that I wanted as a kid. I love the 2016 but the kid in me always wanted to buy a set with a lot of figures and this checked the list. Seeing those secondhand prices on the figs makes me glad I saved up for the entire set.
  19. I bought the Death Star for the minifigures that were rare, however my biggest complaint was the majority of the other minifigure designs, It baffles me how lego moves backwards sometimes considering some figures peaked a few years ago also when it came to their best design. Luckily I had a majority of the imperial officer pants I bought a few a years ago from PAB but i found the new C-3PO figure for cheap the other day and couldn’t pass him up. Weirdly enough, either lego didn’t make that many death stars or they are selling out like hot cakes, because it’s on back order on lego.com on the US site.
  20. It’s a solid 35 pounds when assembled. Carrying it around is not a joke. The build is like dioramas stacked on top but if you pick it up wrong it will come apart. Some parts are flimsy, like the dish is frail and will fall apart when putting it together. The space backdrop looks out place and I removed it, I’m glad lego made it easy to pop it out. I upgraded all my minifigs to the modern setups that should had been included in the set. I also swapped the gender of the majority of the staff. I found Galen’s Eros lower torso in green/black and just waiting on that. It’s a plus that the mini falcon build fits perfectly in the bay, but I loved the imperial shuttle in the same format. I’m still feeling the price, but it sold out locally in San Antonio and Austin already. The figures was the main factor I got this set.
  21. They had like 20 bags with the boxed up Death Star, only a few people including myself bought it. Others were rushing for the Gingy AT-At and other sets. i did notice many wanted to see it in person like you mentioned but the price was a factor for them. They were a few fans rolling out dollies with two and three sets then bragging about it on a vlog. I don’t know if anyone’s Lego store offers the massive yellow bag, but consider bringing something to help, the Death Star set weighs a whopping 35 pounds, I thought it was a good idea to park far also 🤣🤣 plus I had other sets I wasn’t trying to get crushed at the same time
  22. It’s kind of funny because everyone here was also complaining about the black pearls expensive price, yet my local store had a sizeable line when it came out, next thing you know it sold out on the LEGO store online and then it’s back ordered until mid December. I somehow feel we are the vocal minority on those who want this and won’t admit, we shall see
  23. I’m the weird Star Wars fan that loves the space sequences but does not get the space ships. However I’m a sucker for the playsets, I’m currently building the old 2016 Death Star and getting hyped up for the new one that comes out tomorrow. Granted, not looking forward to the price but still, my entire collection is minifigures from lego either way, Iā€m sorry lololol I wanted to stand against the expensive price, but fomo on the ridiculous GWP that I’ll regret brick linking later. LEGO has me.
  24. I completely regret selling my older POTC sets. I did it with the hype of Dead Men tell no tales, thinking they would release their older sets but instead we got the silent Mary. I wish I stocked up on red coats, captain’s cabin and the wooden jack sparrow.
  25. So, I’m weird, I don’t collect lego sets because of the builds, I collect minifigures and I’m that lego collector that buy sets just to update older versions of the newly released characters. Luckily I have like 30000 insider points that can absorb the taxes and I do have cash on hand to help with the rest, but believe me I dislike this set aside from being a death slice, they locked the newer characters behind an expensive set. My biggest regret selling my POTC ships wasn’t the ships but the minifigures, they are so much cool imho.
