    I mean we know there is an updated visual dictionary coming this year. In the past books have given us Electro and Pirate Batmen, Convergence Wonder Woman and John Stewart. Lex does seem the most likely option but that doesn't mean that it's a sure thing

    If it weren't for the book exclusive then I'd agree. It seems strange that for a Villain Themed game, they'd choose a heroic version of Lex to be the exclusive fig

    Well, if you're just looking for a centaur fig and aren't fussed if he's Firenze or not, I could see us getting one or two in the eventual Order of the Phoenix sets (maybe with Grawp too? I can dream)

    Yeah, whatever the set, I reckon we'll get some kind of turntable that'll turn Billy into Shazam and back, like in the various Bat-Cave sets

    Huh? We started off talking about the likelihood of getting GL villains, which is not very likely. I have no doubt that there will be Green Lantern villains in some capacity in the game but that doesn't mean they'll show up in sets- Hush and Mad Hatter have appeared in all three prior games and we've still not got them. And while Atrocitus is game for a Green Lantern set, being one of his better known antagonists, there is not a particular high chance that we'll get a Green Lantern set next year at all. Last I heard, the GLC film was planned for 2020 but nothing's been heard since. While comic based sets are plausible for Winter 2019, they are once again more likely to be focused on Batman, Superman and The Flash, who are arguably more popular and far less infamous to the ordinary public than the Green Lanterns That said, these recent GL figs could be Lego testing the waters for another set. BUT please, don't get your hopes up

    Yes, but I mean just because there is a DC Villains game, that doesn't increase the likelihood of seeing any Green Lantern Villains. If you mentioned those purely on the fact that they are villains then you are setting yourself up for disappointment. DC has hundreds of villains and I doubt any of the Lanterns, except for maybe Sinestro, will play any major part in the game. Heck, Atrocitus and Larfleeze had sizable roles in LB3 and we didn't get them then.

    There's been a few cases of sets being revealed early through the games- The 2013 Batboat in LB2 (2012) The 2015 Brainiac's Skull Ship, The Banana Truck, The Invisible Jet and Green Lantern Jet in LB3 (2014) The 2014 Hydra Tank, The Spider-Copter and Spider-Trike in Lego Marvel (2013) All these models appeared as identical to those released in sets the next year, minifigs too: Aquaman in LB2 Black Manta, Grodd, Sinestro, Brainiac and many of the Leaguers in LB3 Taskmaster, MODOK, Classic Cap, Ultimate Goblin, Luke Cage, Mary Jane, Hydra Henchmen, Ultimate Electro in LMS So while upcoming figs and sets may not be based on the game's plot, the game's at least provide teases of what's to come.

    Uh huh... By that logic we would see Bouncer and The Monarch of Menace. It's unlikely that we'll see any sets directly inspired by the game's plot. However, as with the last two Lego Batman games, we could get a look at upcoming figs and vehicles.

    While I can't remember any cases of molds being replaced, I can recall the Hoth Echo Base's (2009) Han Solo being updated with the 2010 head. Similarly The Ghost's Kanan Jarrus' head and hair pieces were replaced with more accurate colours

    This year's Dilophosaurus set had several new (?) wire pieces in pearl silver. That's probably your best bet.

    The canopy actually appears to be the piece that first appeared in General Grievous' Starfighter (2010 edition). It reappeared in red in The Coruscant Police Gunship

    We've noticed. We aren't even done with this year's sets yet. We'll find out more about the winter wave in a few months

    I'd reckon something on the lines of- One Superman-Centric set One Flash or Aquaman themed set One Green Lantern themed set

    Aquaman, Mera and Black Manta are in an unrevealed set based on the upcoming Aquaman film The Thresher Batman, Two Talons and Ace the Bathound are in Batman: Attack of the Talons Batwoman, An OMAC and a repeated Rebirth Batman are in Batman: Brother Eye Takedown We haven't seen any of the figs in the RC Batmobile yet

    The difference is Aquaman has a movie coming out in December whereas nobody has heard anything about a Green Lantern Corps film in years. If the Aquaman sets and the winter wave sells well enough, Lego will know we have a greater interest in DC characters beyond Batman. Be thankful that they even gave us a Jessica Cruz GL, it could very well have been an Aquaman character

    Yeah, they seems accurate from what we know from set photos- Mera will have a brighter costume. There was some kind of statue leaked last summer that depicted Aquaman in his more comic accurate colours. Honestly, I'm all for it! Especially as it means they fit better with comic mini figures. As you said, those legs on Aquaman are certainly going to be useful and for those of you wishing Mera had her crown, I suggest using the DCEU Wonder Woman head.

    Mera and Aquaman have leaked! Mera uses Jynn Erso's head and a turquoise body. Aquaman is looking a lot more comic accurate with a brighter green set of legs and gloves. They're a couple of really nice figs and if we can just get Ocean Master it could be one of the best DC sets this year
