  1. Aw man, I'm so gutted! The guy at the Lego store said the second set was sold out on Saturday already and it's taken off the website as well. I'd have loved to have the second set, I already had a plan of what to buy to get it. Needless to say Bricklink prices are ridiculous, considering the first set went on sale for € 9,95 after the freebie time was over. Might get one on Bricklink though. Meh. Sorry for the rant, I'm just really disappointed.
  2. Thanks for this review, man! Now I am really tempted to get it... I have to choose something to get the free 2nd Xmas set tomorrow. And I'm sure this one will look nice on display during Christmas time.
  3. *rofl* Fantastic idea  Thanks for the nice comment!
  4. Oh wow, this is another incredible entry. How in hell did you customise these figs? They look so, so good! But I am even more impressed by your construction of the baseplate and the Batpod! Can we have 20 votes each for this contest, please? They are all so amazing and I want them all to win!
  5. Woops! So sorry for that, I deleted the excess pictures!
  6. Stunning!! It looks like a scene right out of the video game. It's so great how many Batman MOCs we're getting these days! This contest was a good idea.
  7. Aw, I love it! I was planning to make something for the Sirens for category 1, but I don't have time to do it now. Very nice work! I think I like Harley's room best.
  8. *rofl* This is awesome! Amazing SNOT work and I love how the hairpiece is flying off the guy's head, very cartoony. Love it!
  9. Well, art historians have to be good for something!
  10. I see what you mean about the logo. It looks awesome on the WIP poster, but I think it would have clashed with the greyness in the final version. In this way, the tree is the colourful centre - the Schreck logo would have distracted the viewer. Good decision :)
  11. My votes: 2 Lord of the Rings 5 Dumbo 10 White Fang 1 point each, obviously.
  12. Very, very difficult. I wish I had 10 votes :) 13 - Detective by KristofBD 20 - Detective by C. Murdock 35 - Godzilla by Cecilie Good luck, everyone!
  13. I have decided not to use the stickers anymore. First, I like to keep the pieces "moccable", and I never know what I might be using them for. Plus, some of the stickers I put on (on old Batman sets) are about to fall off the Lego. So I'd rather keep the sticker sheet as it is and store it somewhere safe.
  14. I'd love to see Batman sitting in his Batmobile having a coffee with all the buzz going on around him :D So cool, I love all the detail and the minifigs! (And Atlantis vines FTW! ) Good luck in the competition!
  15. I am on my knees!!! Such a great MOC, and from my favourite Batman movie. You did a great job catching the Burton design for it with all the gigantic creepy houses, all the variations of grey and the deliberately out-of-place giant Christmas tree. Oh, and the fantastic Shreck cat of course! Definitely made my day, lego-maniac!
  16. I'd instantly wet my pants if they did it.
  17. Oh wow, those minifig heads are so cool :D I am tempted to buy the whole set just for the scared faces!
  18. Oh dear gods, Wonder Woman's hairpiece is so, so pretty! I can't wait to get my hands on these figs!!
  19. Awesome, Pengy and WhiteFang! Thanks so much!
  20. Brick-bricks FTW! :) Very cool little scene. That burglar'd better chose a different path in life.
  21. It mainly bugs my purse...
  22. Cheers, Pengy, very kind of you!
  23. Amazing work with the logo there! So simple and yet so effective. I am very impressed! Love the hoverbike, too - I was just a bit mislead by the name "Nightwing" and though I'd see him on the bike :D
  24. Haha, it was a rather unexpected result, as I planned to build a proper Audrey-esque mouth, but utterly failed :D So I just put teeth everywhere, and it looks perfectly creepy :D
  25. Hello everyone, here's another Gotham City MOC presenting one of my favourite Riot Grrrls - Poison Ivy! I have doubts about its suitability for the CAT 2 contest because of a lot of overhang - but if the judges think it will be okay I'd like to enter with it! Here we go. Pamela Isley was so proud. "Today is the day", she thought, tied back her hair and grabbed her fertilizer (homemade recipe). "Once again I will prove those right who call me 'Poison Ivy'!" "I will finally make the first teeny weeny teeth grow inside the lovely pink blossom of my second breed of my 'dahlia carnivora'! " Carefully she stepped towards her little lab in the corner of her greenhouse. Nobody in Gotham City knew that her first experiment on this vicious plant had gone... a bit wrong. The fertilizer had been too strong, the dahlia grew, grew and grew and got very hungry. But being the plant lover she is, Ivy couldn't set the whole beast on fire to get rid of it. So the decided to repot it... ... and place it in the basement. Gulp. Of course someone found out what was going on in the little run-down greenhouse far outside Gotham City. Someone who wouldn't rest until the mad gardener was put safely behind bars. But well... you shouldn't mess with ladies who grow flesh-devouring plants in their basement. Not even if you're Batman... good luck, old chum. Or should I say "chomp"...? The whole scene And the lab without Ivy. For more pics, check out the Flickr gallery Enjoy! :)
