Hello guys, someone posted this link on my facebook profile: http://www.zillamag....by-jan-vormann/ As the big street art fan I am I especially loved this use of Lego bricks. Has anyone of you seen a piece like these? I'd love to see your pics!

Smaller boxes FTW! I hate the big bulky ones, especially when I have to carry them home from the shop in the train, and when it's windy it's a real pain to manoeuver the bag . It's good for storage this way, too.

Ha, awesome idea. I'll vote for model 1. Don't like the proportions of model 2, and model 3 is too "normal". Can't wait to see the result!

An internet tale Winchester/Shaun of the Dead project on CUUSOO
Miss Kyle replied to Yatkuu's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just supported it on CUUSOO. Got a bit distracted by the Zelda project (Lego Beetle!! ), but then it was Shaun all the way! Fingers crossed for success! -

Meh. Thanks for the info though. I'll check out BR Spielwaren, they sold series 5 for 1,99. They might stick to the price, it's worth trying! -

Oh, very convenient! € 1,99 or 2,49? -
Thanks for the advice, Vimes! Now I just have to decide whether or not to buy the new edition or collect the old books :)

We made a star this year, too. but since my collection isn't that big, it looks pretty crappy :D It's a very fragile construction, and it fell off the tree at least three times over the holidays. lorax, I simply love your star! Do you still have it? I'd love to see how you connected the, how do you call it? Beams? And, even more important, how did you put it on the tree?

It's time for me to join this thread, I guess. I used to follow a German Batman board, but the teenage fanboys there drew me away in the end. I got back into Batman a few years ago (with Lego Batman I actually!) and by now I do own a nice collection of comic books and DVDs. But I have lost track of good stories a bit. There's still "Knightfall" to read, I have the first two parts on the shelf already. And people keep recommending No Man's Land - but is it really necessary to read Cataclysm as a prequel? It seems to be out of print, and thus difficult to get. At the same time there seems to be a new edition of No Man's Land... has anyone checked it out yet? The last new stuff I watched was the Year One film, and I liked it very much. I share your resent about Batman's voice actor though, I really missed Conroy :(

Great work on the wheelchair, very well done! Love the keyboard she carries on her lap all the time :D The clock window is also great and I like your bookshelf. More, more, more!!

Whee, can't wait to see them! Especially Tingle

Awesome! I love your takes on Zelda figures. I remember finding Sheik really hot when playing the game. Was a bit taken aback when "his" true identity was revealed. Can't wait to see more of your Zelda figs!

Awww, Jasper Utter fangirl here.

Welcom to Eurobricks, Carsten! And that's an awesome job you have there
-
I see. Never been there before, but it's not too far away from Hamburg, where I live. I guess.

Wow, very very well done, great work on integrating the set into your cave. I especially love the gate for the batmobile, and the dinosaur of course! You must be happy about the Dino theme this year. I'll try to get one of these giant T-Rexes for my Batcave :D

What will you remember from 2011 with Lego?
Miss Kyle replied to eliminator's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For me it was the year of getting back into Lego completely. I joined Eurobricks, went to one funny meetup in London and the Eurobricks event in Windsor, made great friends and had an amazing time. There were a lot of great moments, as the discovery of the CMF series. But the best probably was the announcement of Super Heroes and finally getting my hands on brand new Batman sets. I really was in geek heaven, and I still am. Thank you, Lego!! -
Yay, new videogame! Can't wait, I loved the first one. But I have to play Harry Potter 5-7 first :)
-
True, just checked the instruction booklet. At least I could save that one!

I finished "Lamentation" by Ken Scholes the other day (and highly recommend it to anyone who likes good fantasy literature that involves using your brain) and am now enjoying "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern.

Thanks for he review, cei! I once owned an early X-Wing from around 2000, I don't know which one it was. But someone moved it into storage from my old room and now nobody knows where it is :( Very sad, as it's probably worth quite a bit of money these days. Anyway, I think this new one is a good replacement! Time to save more money and get some of these iconic ships!
