It's so amazing what people come up with in this contest! Very nice work, I think my favourite piece is actually the surveillance camera. Great use of parts there! What's the lens made of? Looks like an antenna to me, but it can't be.

Yeah, I noticed it, too. The Star Wars calendar leaves me with 2-4 spare parts every day, which is really generous. Maybe they do it because you would keep the calendar in a place like near your bed or in the kitchen or anywhere but on your average Lego building table, so pieces would more easily fall down and vanish from view Just judging from childhood memories here. Funny side fact: I just opened my chocolate advent calendar and the chocolate dropped on the floor. Had to crouch under the desk and look for it. Q.E.D., I'd say.

One of the many things I like about Batman is that the theme leaves so much room for interpretation. I find this entry really original, even more since the Joker figure looks different from his "usual" appearance.

Today I bought Orient Bazaar and I got a display copy of Monster 4! The latter is extra awesome because of five different monster minifig heads: Halloween pumpkins, devils, orcs, skeletons and werewolves. Awesome! And all the little gems and shinies as well as the golden dome in Orient Bazaar are utterly fantastic!

Me, too. It's my favourite set of the current wave.

Seems like I am really unlucky about Christmas Lego this year. I only managed to get the green and red ornament. I'll check S@H, I think...

At the shop I was told there were even more of the 2nd set than of the 1st one. But apparently there were so many people who wanted it - I have no idea where the sets went and what people did with them. I'm just sad because I didn't get one - I can't blame Lego for good sales, can I?

I'm still sulking because I didn't get the set, but it's a great review!

Fortunately I asked if it was still available before spending any money. Blessing in disguise... and I'm hereby queueing up for any possible sales on here.
